Great work on this vid Ty, and congrats to Zach on his biggest fish. A few years ago an absolute monster Arapaima broke my heart in the Essequibo - she was roughly 250lbs and seven ft. long. Fought her for just over two hours and just when we were going to land her she made one last exhale and spit the entire half of the black piranha bait. I still have dreams about that fish, maybe one day I'll get there again and cross paths with her!

Ty is a good fishing buddy to let his friend take the reel for a bit just to get a feel of the strength of that fish (and to take a little break id imagine). Lol. Awesome catch

Reminds me of a very scaled down experience I recently had fighting a 42" (20lb) Tiger Muskie on a 5'6" Light/Ultralight rod while fishing a ned rig on 6# test for smallies by myself in a rowboat with only a tiny net 😮 damn thing dragged me around the res for 15-20 minutes lol Tight lines my man 👍🏼
