I’m a Miyoo enjoyer myself, and it’s much smoother hardware. This is cool cause it’s an SP and you can play Dreamcast games, but I am still playing my Miyoo mini plus more

I know I’m not the guy, but I really think this is the best device in this price range. The only thing that remotely compares is maybe a used 3ds (no n64 or psp/1/2 but +battery life +ds and 3ds ofc). If you are interested in Wii and have a tech skillset and tools, there is a new configuration using the smallest trim of the Wii board ever hypothesized out now (not a handheld and this is a make not a buy but included just in case maybe Wii was your dream and you somehow fit the bill). Honestly unless PlayStation is important I would search out an ebay 3ds. If you are lucky you might could even track down a new dual ips model (they have different screen types), and I recommend getting the regular size for sure if you have smaller hands for increased clarity as the larger screens of the xl cause some games to look worse stretched (however there is a combo to hold to use native resolution and just have black borders). If you decide to go with an anbernic just for how decent it is and the price point I don’t blame you, but you should know A this particular model has pretty clicky buttons (you probably won’t be playing this at night if you have a partner next to you) and B anbernic has been saturating the market with really solid entries at a pretty fast rate so it may be worth waiting an extra month or few from when you planned to purchase in case those beautiful Chinese wizards come out with another banger (sry for huge rant 😅)

They use the battery as a heatsink just like their other products which has been a long criticism. Although the batteries longevity shouldn't be inherently worse than their other handhelds.

It’s not bad, but a switch can go in sleep mode for a month and wake up with similar battery
