Micron settings, Internal pre weigh before grind, the tunnel that lets you dose right into the cup...that single dose option!! What a grinder! San Remo broke the mould with this one. Will we see this at the shop? Or just a fun piece of kit to review. Exciting for the barista games :) big year for the channel

I’m about to purchase an omnia for home. The x one is to expensive for home use. But I would appreciate an advice for an espresso machine to update for about 6000-7000 euros ;-)

@joannismess 100% I would recommend the Sanremo YOU. It is by far the most advanced machine on the market & actually alot cheaper than some other machines. Plus it looks incredible! 😍

Hi Mitch. I received my sanremo you today. I am shocked about the build quality ( on the outside). Plastic and cheap materials all over !!! I don’t even care about the specs anymore. It came the same day with the omnia grinder witch is a piece of art !!

@joannismess I found the build quality to be quite nice. Plastic has its purpose in my opinion. The 2 machines worth comparing would be the slayer, which is FAR more expensive or the LM Mini which is all steel, but rattles & looks like it was made in the 80's.

Very cool. Work flows a !little slow compared to have 3 separate grinders.

I would agree slightly... with a dosing cup used in barista mode, it wouldn't be too much difference in time. But the main goal of this grinder is perfection, not necessarily speed. "Quality over Quantity" 🤌

Impressive bit of kit the tech is amazing but the unthinkable happens and your grinder breaks mid service, you’re 3 grinders down with no back up… I still have a worry about retention with 3 potential coffees going through the same burr set but impressive non the less

I had this conversation with the guys at Sanremo HQ only yesterday. In most cases, you would still "need" an EK or similar for grinding bags of coffee. But yes, I do see the potential dilemma... same reason as why I would never opt for a 4 group machine as 2x 2 group machines would make far more sense.

@@mitchdoescoffee agreed, we have a slot with Sanremo this afternoon at London on the new D8 and using the X One. Wanted to familiarise myself with the X One before hand, great video btw!
