can you please review a scooter that look like the turbowheel swift but is from wish. I would love to see that. There $350 so its much cheaper but is it realy that bad?
Can't wait to see waht you have planned for for 100,000 subscriber special! Electric rideables are getting huge, and you're my favorite reviewer, so I don't doubt you'll hit the milestone soon!
The most important feature for me would be the size. I am a pretty big rider and on most electric scooters, I find that my feet don’t fit comfortable and then handlebars are a little too low which makes it a little dangerous to ride because of the wobble. #inmotion
Honestly, its not the size or the range or speed that is most important to me. It''s the idea of having an electric scooter available to ride and just enjoy by escaping the responsibilities of real life. Cruising down the street with the wind in your face and feeling the ground rumble under my feet seems like a relaxing but fun experience that I would love to have.
I travel to and from work (7 miles each way) every day, and right now I am doing that on my old rusty bike. So after realizing the other scooters out there lack the range, the inmotion L9 range is the absolute best feature in my eyes. The suspension is a plus aswell. Due to the pandemic I can't afford any alternative to my old bike right now, but have always wanted an electric scooter! Really cool video and I look forward to seeing more from your channel, now that I am subscribed. #inmotion
The range and suspension is the most important thing for me. The flashing evening lights is a plus at night time to not only safety reasons but will also catch everyone's attention to meet up with new people and share my comments on the ride. Awesome! #inmotion
The really great range is only in "Eco" mode. But I had a 23 mile ride yesterday, using "Drive" and "Eco" modes and finished with 45 % of the battery charge left. I did not use "Sport" mode, except for a minute or two. Sport mode eats up charge a bit fast.
The range and comfort are the most important aspects for me-it’s more about how long you can go than how fast. #inmotion L9 certainly fits those criteria perfectly :)
#inmotion RANGE is most important to me. No one likes having to worry about having enough juice to make it back, in a round trip. Well done with this model!!
It's been quite a while since I watched Jimmy's video... which was posted around the time I purchased my L9. So, it's been 9 months and how do I feel? Very happy. It has been sturdy, reliable and taken me on many adventures. It weighs 52 lbs, so loading and un-loading takes a bit of muscle, but I wanted something sturdy. The L9 is a little tank, but is able to take dirt trails and climbs modest grades with ease. No mechanical failure or structural failure so far. Overall, I would have no hesitation buying one again. Cheers!
I do food deliveries and the most important is range and speed of recharging. I'm out 5 hours a day in a split shift.2 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the afternoon.
#inmotion I think the range and portability are the most important features. I don’t live in a very good neighborhood so I would be afraid to ride it around here so being able to fit in the vehicle with ease is important to take it somewhere I actually feel safe to ride it and range is important so I wouldn’t have to call it quits before I’m ready.
As a retired teacher that is going to travel around the usa on my ford transit connect i like the safety feature and also the fact that you can FOLD down the L9 INMOTION SCOOTER. I am selling my regular car and fixing up my minivan for travel..this scooter could be a clean way to commute in my town or other towns when i park.
I think acceleration is most important At 5’10”, 185 lbs I’m not a huge guy, but my current scooter is a Glion 225, which is an awesome machine that’s perfect for riding around the neighborhood and quick trips to the grocery store, but it takes a few seconds to reach its full speed from a dead stop, which is a bit annoying when I’m trying to make a light, or trying to cross a street when traffic breaks. A better scooter will eliminate this anxiety and really add to my riding experience #inmotion
#inmotion suspension. Hi Jimmy, that looks like a really cool scooter. At first I thought it was another Ninebot Max clone, but as you described, it has front and rear suspension and it has a much much nicer display as well as some other accoutrements. I can't believe Winnie didn't want to go 59 miles, she shares my wife's level of enthusiasm, LOL. I also like the idea of supporting a company that also makes EUC's so some of the money they earn from the scooter hopefully we'll go into them producing even more interesting EUC's and scooters too. I also found out over the weekend from someone in an EUC group that Inmotion also makes mini e-bikes to which is pretty cool. His wife was following him around on the Inmotion E Bike while he was riding his new V11. I thought it was cool that one company had his family covered.
The Denver area looks like heaven to ride Onewheels, EUCs, and scooters. Here in St. Louis, we have very limited options for riding. We do have some greenways, etc, but nothing like what you have in Denver.
I love Kneaders. The one by us closed down, so we go to the one that you ate at. Love that french toast. For the range test, Aurora Reservoir has a path circling it, around 7 miles. Setup a spot to switch out riders every couple loops. This will also allow you to stop for the day after a few hours and finish the test the following day if needed.
What's important is a smooth ride, best range in the industry, reliable battery life with minimum degradation, good suspension for longs rides. From Inmotion good warranty , customer & technical support would really be a big plus..! :)
Nice. And the only REAL competition to EUC. The main two pev that can replace a car for some. While "faceplant" DNA is shared with E-boards, and hoverboards..."boards" should be their own category. Meanwhile, EUC has to catch up with scooters in the specs department, modability, features, maintenance, etc. Changing tires should be a breeze. Plus they have modular batteries, ignition lock and key, etc. No mod can push the fastest EUC over 90mph like scooters!😊
for me, besides the range, the most important thing is the rear rack or front rack..because we can go to supermarket, traditional market to put our staff there.
As an engineering student, the most important feature to me is safety. With every new tech comes reckless people followed by over restrictive laws. I wish this to be avoided. #inmotion
@@odtube you have to understand restrictions have a purpose. It comes with the popularity and the risk related to something. For instance, it is forbidden to jog in the middle of the highway (for obvious reasons), that would be reckless. There are stupid people out there who can't foresee danger or are just chasing it. Restrictions exist to protect these people and are often more restrictive than needed. I'm just stating the facts.
#inmotion. One thing I like the most about the L9 scooter is that it is made by a Company that really cares about its customer. They are Team and Customer focus and thats why their products are great. Also, would love to have it for my wife.
I can’t really 100% on my eyes after a brain tumor. Therefore, the stability and how robust and well made this scooter from #inmotion is, turns out to be the biggest feature for me. This would allow me to safely enjoy the great world of the electric rideable devices and be part of this awesome growing community!!!
Range seems like an important feature for an e-scooter but just having one so my wife and come along on my one wheel adventures would be great. We just moved to Portland and there are so many bike paths we could go on together.
Loving the chanel Jimmy, thanks. As with most, range of the #inmotion is key, however it is worth taking into consideration attachables. It might be a thing to attach water bottle holders, powered cell phone mounts, or even have a USB socket of some sort. A seat post with an under-seat storage bag would be a consideration too. My job is 18km away and being able to take a sip of coffee and change podcasts whilst at a stop/traffic light without opening pockets is a plus.
Good informative video, Jimmy. I'm looking at the Emove Cruiser. Out of left field with this point. I would love to aee a detachable battery like those ebikes. It is a deal breaker for me. Instead of lugging the bike/scooter out of your car, you can charge the detachable battery at home/hotel. At a pizza place or a coffee shop or a library, they don't mind you bringing in a battery instead of a scooter. Happy trails.
Most important feature on e-scooter to me is the suspension system, brakes, acceleration, front and rear lights, fat tires, folding, OLED screen, charging ports, USB ports, kickstand, wide deck and fat tires. #inmotion
#inmotion The range and power in the InMotion L9 electric scooter is what makes it so attractive to me. I already have a Levy electric scooter, which I got a while ago as a starter scooter to begin but it has been a bit problematic and lacking in power and range. I’m not really in a position to buy a new scooter right now, which is why I’d really appreciate winning a new InMotion L9 electric scooter.
20,000 subscribers? I figured you would've had more than that bro. Your videos are awesome man. Informative and entertaining, and you have great energy and that awesome brother. I'm happy to see a caring and humble youtuber for a change. Instead of the selfish spoiled individuals that usually post crap all day. Thank you bro, for being you And I've never ridden an Escooter before. Seems like a groovy commuter. Love my onewheel xr, but I'm not getting any younger and the stance is hard on my back long distance commuting. Not to mention the scooter looks fun. Thanks my friend, keep it going bro.
The most important thing to have on a E-scooter is the quality if life stuff. The bell the bright lights the kickstand and tbe most import would be the ability to fold it up for traveling in a car. #inmotion
I think the LED's are a great addition, plus the folding mechanism seems great! I value range the most, so stoked to see this one pushing the limits! #inmotion
I personally think the best feature is the bell. I ride eucs, and having something like a speaker or bell is really handy to let ppl know you are there!
#inmotion Stability is the most important feature of a e-scooter for me because i want a comfortable ride with very little shaking especially in a country like the UK that has pavements, footpaths, and roads in very poor condition with loose pavement stones, cracks and potholes. Off now for a Chimichanga!
The safety factor in the scooter would be key factor for me why I would like this scooter and the Suspension would also make the ride a lot smoother and avoid potholes #inmotion
#inmotion The e-scooter feature most important to me is range. Being able to ride the scooter throughout the day for long distances without having to worry about recharging makes it very versatile.
What strikes me the most is the promised range of 59miles. I plan to use it to commute for work and the range will greatly help me travel long distances. #inmotion
Why does everybody insist on lifting heavy PEVs out of the box and potentially hurting yourself??? Pro-Tip: Cut open the bottom of the box and slide the box OVER the PEV. Easier on the back and the PEV will still remain standing on it's packing foam! In reverse, it's also the easier way to go if you happen to need to repack the PEV.
Hey Jimmy another great review. I was wondering what Whinny (hope I spelled that right) thought of the ride as compared to the other scooters she has ridden. If my memory is correct she chose the turbowheel Swift over the E-twow GT 2020. Also have you or her ever ridden the Inokim Light 2, seems to be a favorite with the ladies. I think the standout feature on this Inmotion L9 is the visibility footprint. The under-deck lights and the fact that the rear light shines up on the operator is a simple yet important improvement over other scooters. Not far behind would be the inclusion of dual suspension and dual pneumatic tires. I think any rider would appreciate the developers going the extra mile when it came to ride comfort and I don't believe there any other scooters in it's price range that have these features. I would love to win this beast of a commuter #inmotion.
@@freshlycharged Yeah I've heard that before. I feel her struggle I'm 5'6" lol. Glad to hear it is a comfortable ride cause who cares about range if your in pain. Thanks again for the great videos Jimmy, keep up the good work.
The most important feature about an e-scooter to me is the range and the saftey of it. The range is important because I usually go on a scooter ride daily and with this scooter, I will be able to ride the scooter for a whole week without charging it. The saftey is also important because I enjoy riding at night, and the blikers on the bottom will enable cars that are driving to know which direction I am turning. People that are walking and biking will be able to see which direction I will be turning, or see me so that can move out of the way. Though the speed of this scooter is not very high, I will still enjoy it because of its long range and amazing features. #inmotion
I have the bird and ninebot scooters and their features can't even compare with the InMotion L9. The L9 surpasses my scooter's range and features. Though this scooter does not have cruise control, it still have the cool headlights and turn lights on the bottom. Eventhough this scooter isn't the fastest scooter, the features are still important. Usually, the most important feature about an e-scooter to me is the speed of the scooter.
#inmotion I like the shock absorber feature as this cam add comfort and safety for the long ride. Another feature that i like that you didn't mention is the waterproofing since it's always raining in Vancouver. Pls do a range test and let us know. Question for you is do you mind telling what is the underplate of the battery/deck made of? Thanks!
#Inmotion Range anxiety has always been the biggest issue with my electric rideables. What a game-changer this is! Hoping this battery feature can be adopted by future e-rideables to come. Thanks Jimmy!!
Hey JC, Great video! Im glad to see the mrs. still has not given up on those scooters. I know youve been looking for a good fit for her. I also am lookinh for something for my wife. Initially, i was interested in the L8F from #inmotion, but what i love about the L9 so much are the safety features. Dual brakes, adequate lighting and a striking front display are essential i feel, especially when putting someone you care about on these devices. Well, take care Jimmy, cant wait for the next video ;-)
The most important feature for me is the range and speed of the scooter sinse I would be using it to work. I can go and come back without having to worry if my batttery will die half way.Or if the scooter will go too slow.
#INMOTION Range and portability is the most important feature to me. I guess in a way they are contradict but it's definitely more portable than a bike! I'd love to have this thing and go to class without squeeze into the crowded subway and buses, added that now during the pandemic, an L9 would probably be ideal!
I appreciate all your videos. I just bought 2 new pints for my kids (but really because I wanted one myself). Just found a used one for 600.00 with 60 miles on it. Trying to buy it. Your videos have been very helpful. Thanks
#inmotion The most important feature of a scooter for me is range. I love the possibility of taking an electric scooter for long excursions and explorations across city and country near the nation’s capital.
For me, the most important feature in any electrical device is range since I use them mostly for commutes I do not wish to stress over how much range I have left. Thank you #inmotion and Jimmy for his Giveaway.
Range is always the most important. Stability is also a must. I like the disc brakes and the turn signals. That's something I've haven't seen on other scoots. @
The most important feature for me has to be the RANGE!!!! I have been saving up for a onewheel to ride to school, but if I get this I could put my money towards better things. I love your vids!!!! You are by far my favorite RU-vid!!
how far are you able to go on the inmotion l9 before the battery is ready to die out? whats the max distance you've been able to get from this? i work 2 jobs about 23 miles total distance, every other day. would this scooter be able to handle that?
#inmotion The most important feature to me is defiantly battery and range. I was planning on getting a Onewheel Pint and still and in the future But i tried my Friends Escooter and it was amazing the acceleration was crazy The light is also a really nice feature I dont often ride at night because i dont have a super bright light but this light seems pretty bright Also this would be a gift for my dad because he would use it and ride it and im planning on getting a onewheel anyways.
For me it has to be a balance of weight and range since my commute also includes a train. Having to carry something so heavy up flights of stairs isn't the most convenient. #inmotion
For where I live, there are two features that are a must for a scooter: Range and comfort. Hills and not so smooth pavement are very common in the city I'm in.
Congrats on the big 20k Jimmy! 🏅🙂 I don't like the really tall handlebars on the scooter, it makes them feel like they handle bad on faster riding. Less stable. But big range and suspension gotta get a 👍 I guess.
Cool video man, I’ve watched most of your Onewheel videos prior to purchasing my XR and check in regularly. This scooter is pretty awesome, the suspension and inflatable tires would probably be my biggest selling points as the roads where I live are just horrible. The range would be cool too as the XR only gets 16ish. Anyways, congrats on the 20k subscribers! #inmotion ;)
#inmotion I ride a pint normally but I am constantly thinking about my range and when I will have to turn around so I don’t run out of battery I would really enjoy all 59 miles of range on that scooter 🛴
I think the most important scooter feature for me is maintaining power going up hills. The last thing you want is for your ride to be interrupted by a weak hill climb.
