It was on an arcade machine thing and you played the tutorial level and I could only play mobile ripoffs because my mom would not let me buy the real game,even though it was only the tutorial in survival I still loved it and eventually I got a Wii U and I was delighted to see Minecraft on it and I would go on survival with all the maps it lets you play such as a super Mario one and I would build dimand houses or try to make a story by destroying and replacing/moving blocks.
My first Minecraft experience was sitting on my dad's lap while he was playing Minecraft on his computer when I was a wee lad. We got a multiplayer world with me, my dad, and my brother. It had a large stone brick mansion with a flower garden on the roof with a huge glass dome. It was so fun. I will remember it forever.
I've lost so many including my old 60 x 60 x 60 house that I accidentally destroyed and will always consider my crowning achievement back during the nether reactor core days on mcpe. I remember the name too, MW3. I remember Mt first reaction to sheep and my introduction into tnt. Now I barely open it anymore and have moved on to different games but this will always have a place in my heart
fun fact. i once lost a phone while watching stampy. i was pretty young. sometimes while watching i would need use the bathroom so i would watch while sitting on the toilet. one day someone forgot to put down the toilet seat so i fell in it ass first and my phone went into the water and instantly got destroyed. ever since then i never brought phones to the bathroom unless i had a table then one day i realized i could put the phone on the back of the toilet so now i sit backwards... lmao thanks stampy

i remember when i was like 5 in 2012, my parents got me a small laptop just to play minecraft on it. i clearly remember it being minecraft 1.0, the different item menu, the graphics, i even remember some of the houses i built. eventually that laptop broke down though, and i forgot all about minecraft. fast forward to 2017, i was 10. now we have a family computer. i couldn't think of any games to download on it, and a friend of mine suggested some game called minecraft, she said it was kinda dead at the time but it used to be really popular back in its prime days. the name sounded familiar, so i decided to give it a go. and here I am today, not able to go a day without playing this legendary game. 1.0 might've been my childhood, but 1.12 to today is just as important to me because I made more memories with them. in any case, minecraft will always be a big part of my life. this video reminded me of my favourite times :)

"They set my house on water" I cried to my grandmother. Context: my sister and my cousin loved to tease me growing up. One day they decided to go on the computer at my grandmothers house and light a village on fire in my world. I was mad at them and crying when I found out so they put out the fire with buckets of water and for some reason I was more upset at that in which, being 7 years old, I told on them. It's a great memory that we share and joke about now but man do I miss being 7 years old at my grandmothers house playing happy wheels and minecraft on the computer with my cousin and siblings.

i was around 5 or 6 when i first started playing minecraft, it was fun. me and a few cousins made a three story house and i was really proud of myself. and i made another world called Pixel World. it was lost after a while, but i made a new one (which was lost) one day, whenever i get a computer, i’m making a pixel world 3.0. i love building my pixel world and it’s always given me a sense of nostalgia and happiness. thank you, proplayer999, you were by best friend, but you haven’t been online in god knows how long. i still message you, hoping you’ll come back.
This is genuinely depressing for me, I remember making worlds called 'cat and dog" and stuff like that. I would always make houses out of wool, now I just. Lost all of that, only to exist in my memory but never to exist in reality anymore just as time slowly goes by and dies.
I first played Minecraft on my brothers laptop in 2013 (idk what version but he started playing on version 1.0) and I remember being so amazed at what you could do and how many possibilities there were.
The fact that the new minecraft youtubers are getting alot more attention and recognition than the youtubers I watched growing up is really disappointing.
That happens though due to the fact that everyone recognizes them already and have moved on. Later on in time the new minecraft youtubers will also be as forgotten as well

@@Pudding404 Oh videos not RU-vidrs got it. Tho RU-vid in general is a lot more bigger now then it was 8 years ago because now India and Nigeria has access to it. RU-vid is just bigger than it once was and most old minecraft gameplay vids are now outdated due to updates or having bad video quality

I think the saddest part of this is remembering my wolves and cats from my old worlds, just sitting their in my old buildings, just waiting for me to return after all these years. Yes I know I'm thinking too hard about this.
First time played this game in version i think its .12 or .13 then (pocket edition) played this game with a friend that i forgot. Then after years of playing alone i stopped then played it with another 2 friends of mine in version .15 we didn't finished the game because the end doesn't in the game yet but all the fun we had once is worth it

Honestly DanTDM's Lab really hit hard since I used to watch him a lot when I was like 8 or 7 Years Old. I just wish time travel existed so I can relive these moments where i used to watch DanTDM.
I started playing in 2015, meaning I missed out on the main golden age of the game, yet this still makes me feel nostalgic for some reason. It really adds to the scary/sad feeling... It almost gives me the feeling that I experienced this all in a past life or something. (I was in fact alive during that time though, just saying that's the feeling it gives me.)

Getting back home from school on a Friday circa 2015 to build on my Creative world and watch DanTDM's Custom Mod adventures is the memory I will fight and die to hold onto.
Just seeing these brings back the flavor of gold fish crackers and otter pops. I used to grab pizza rolls and watch DanTDM’s newest lab mod uploads and PopularMMOs with my sister when I was 8. I miss when I was innocent. Even if times were worse for my life. I hope I never forget the wonderful memories of 2014-2015. And I hope I never forget the bad ones either, because they’ve all made me who I am today.

You find yourself in your destroyed hometown where you spent your childhood with your friends and family, but all those were lost after the great bombings... You find your house which barely stands and you enter, you explore the inside making you regain your memories which were lost while ordering your men in the countless battlefields, you remember your family and your brother and all the time you spent together watching TV or playing in your free time. You look back on the times where you fantasized yourself as a great general the like of Napoleon and Alexander the Great, you were ready to sacrifice all your loved ones for the sake of your dream, never thinking if such a choice would become your biggest regret in the future. You now realize how naive you were back then, you did indeed achieve your dream but at the cost of your loved one. Suddenly, while looking back at your childhood you feel a sense of dread and sorrow. Hope and despair are inseparable. Ideals that may have seemed noble and great become tiring duties and in the end a sordid obsession. What people idolize in childhood becomes a mundane reality, and though they may look back on it, they lose that respect. This is the correct mentality for any human. However, you are not "correct". You carefully locked away the part of your heart that can feel pain. Your heart of iron is enough proof that you have become a person of tin. However, Like this, your long journey can continue. In exchange for that, you feel less pleasure, but fortunately, you are not greedy and you are happy if you are rewarded once in a while. Your often yearn for something beautiful. You saw many people and towns during your campaigns. Beautiful things existed everywhere. But you cant meet again the beautiful starlights you parted with on that fateful day anymore. You then think to yourself, why do you keep going? What is there to gain? Your stupid decision costed you everything, even the friends and comrades you made on your journey are now lost. The reason why your journey did not end was not likely because you lacked a goal. You of all people would know that. It was because you had not truly found what you were looking for... Nothing is indestructible. No matter how durable a machine is, it will slowly wear away with use. Machines, bodies and spirits are all alike in this manner. Everything will be damaged with time. Everytime someone looks at something, its color fades away a little more. Therefore, even if your heart, which did not recognize anything as painful, would perhaps finally notice after many years of repetition. You were once a boy who wanted peace, who wanted a world that people didnt have to suffer, you held your blade for what you came to believe in and your fate was already set in stone. In the end, you got your answer. You have your regrets and you dont know how many times you wished to do things all over again. However, one thing is for certain, your ideals were not wrong. With this over, you exit the ruined building and head back to your troops, you have a war to win after all
