Trying my best to play for fun but the sheer lack of risk involved with anything I do is just soul-crushing. Never have I seen a more incompetent balance team.
He makes sure to lay eggs in any lifeform that he enters and then buries them underground for 3 years. There, a small part of him matures. This level 1 seems pretty uninteractive, all things considered.
@@sho829I don't know, I think making Baby level 1 basically completely skip the combat mechanics of the game just really takes the edge out of this kind of stealth villain gameplay. What's the point in tricking the enemy if getting caught results in literally no danger? It also, in my humble opinion, really undercuts the identity this game has compared to similar 1vX games. This is basically "asymmetrical slasher but with DBZ combat". Removing the DBZ combat just makes this game freeze tag in a too overly large arena.
From everything I've seen, Baby just genuinely seems like they either put way too much thought into him, or way too little. He's either so horrifically overtuned, or undertuned. There is no other way to describe them outside of just 'Broken'.
How I see it, he was designed to perfectly counter the season 5 survivor meta before they got nerfed to the ground, and they never adjusted him for that.
It's not op because while he's lv 1 he's literally the saibamen but can't fly or shoot ki blasts You can't die but that also means your stuck as him If they got the stm out while your lv 1 you are screwed because you can't damage it And if you don't have anyone downed when lv 2 and the stm is out unless your playing against incompetent players your run is pretty much over because they will annihilate you
There's nothing you can do to his Level 1 as he's invincible, he starts the game with 4 infected civilians and he can spawn near players, plus there is no way of telling if a civilian is infected or not. His infect even goes through EF. He can camp a downed survivor by placing an infected civilian or servant on the downed survivor. Unless you have Yajirobe's passive, whoever you revive is just going to be caught by the infected, easily making them downed again Best part? Touching an infected civilian at all gives Baby charge power, Baby is literally the only raider that can speedrun getting to level 4 because of that, and there is nothing you can do about it as thats just how broken his level 1 is.
I swear someone's going to try placing infected Civs on the STM'S spawn point so no survivors can work on it This is literally a possible thing to do, it's just that no one tried to do it yet
Him being invincible doesn't matter at lv 1 because he can't fly or shoot ki blasts meaning he's easy to escape from if you see him It's incredibly hard to get outta lv 1 fast unless your lucky because everyone just gets away before you ever reach them His lv 2 isn't that broken without any infected survivors and his lv 3 is alright But still can be overwhelmed like any other raider His lv 4 is broken. But it's literally ape Vegeta with the ability to summon so can't argue against that Also I'm glad he spawns in with automatically infected civs and the fact you can't hear him Because it turns him into a horror raider which is literally what this game should have had from the beginning with Cell If he doesn't spawn with civs automatically then survivors don't have to worry about it that much and if he makes noise he would be so easy to escape it would be pathetic Baby is a horror villain and I don't think they should change him at all except maybe make it take more civs to get into lv 3 or 4
"Sorry, but I'm not the person you think I am." Honestly? I would just alt F4 out if I heard that. Not from rage mind you. But from pure terror I need an egg to go with my 3 years underground with a side of form maturing.
I'd say a really odd sounding big buff Baby has over other raiders is that you can't do anything while he's transforming. As snipey as Goku Black is with his supers you have at least 15 to 20 seconds of free breathing room with his transformations
Literally, every cutscene interrupts anything. Rescuing a civ? Not any more. Reviving a guy on 0 seconds? Too late now! Was you about to finish the key? Well, keep holding through the cutscene... nerd! Also, getting randomly teleported when he transforms sometimes.
Have to say I love seeing just how much fun you were having with the voicelines. Especially the "Sorry, I'm not the person you think I am" moment you pulled
The one thing to do to defeat baby, avoid civilians. Just go after other ways and the raider will rarely ever have a chance to level up because they can't find any of the civilians to level themselves up with. Literally had the survivors find the dragon ball in less than 4 minutes.
I think they should have made level 1 weaker to compensate for his blatant immortality. You can't move while a survivor is nearby, you need them to get close before you can infect them as opposed to being able to run up to them unopposed and down them instantly, play more into the civilian impostor aspect. Alongside that, level 3 could require four servants to evolve since the cutscene shows four servants boosting Baby Vegeta, and level 4 could have a different requirement like Vegeta's level 4, require you to find and enslave a special Bulma civilian since the cutscene has her shooting Baby with a blutz wave laser. This could also allow the survivors to outright stop you from reaching level 4 if they rescue Bulma first.
I have beaten a couple of people who were playing as Baby. Tho most of them got stuck in lvl2 and were newer players. Or they knew how to play but got jumped by really good players and wasted both their break strikes really early. Anyone with any gamesense can easily destroy with Baby. I mean the lvl 1 auto evolve after 3 mins with no downside? Like why? And lvl 4 is just a straight up YOU WON form.
@@Slidius Yeah sometimes the game is winnable but your teamates throw themself at the raider for no reason. Or dont want to drop dragon balls so you give them yours only for them to get insta killed and wasting them. Or they dont defend the STM cuz they want to ETM.
I genuinely do not know why they made Baby immune in Level 1. He should be punished for overextending as a Civ, and forced to actually play like a stealthy threat if he’s gonna be a fragile Civilian starting out. Seriously, is there a lore reason why he’s immune to everything at Level 1?
Technically speaking. Once he's infected someone he's nearly unkillable because so long as a part of him is in an infected person he can essentially have infinite lives. In the case here this basically ties into Survivors needing to save civilians and thus won't attack them. I guess for gameplay reasons they need to be able to let baby move around still otherwise survivors could just not rescue civilians and rush the STM making Baby unable to do anything at all to stop it.
No, he can be level 1 when STM spawns lol. I have a video proof of it too. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-oXKcsn2Vnf8.htmlsi=GrKlDVObwQQXxpp3
@@sgt.zaitsev287tribalism is how we evolved as a society, maybe think about the advantages of it instead of just looking at the downsides and assuming that’s all there is.
@@sgt.zaitsev287 The devs are doing a good job of killing it, regardless of what I want. They've been doing nothing but buffing raiders for an entire year, and yet raider mains are too smooth brained to win, so they gave them the ultimate handholding
Funny how I’ve beaten baby multiple times cause he’s always super weak at level 2. He’s beatable if you focus on civ rushing cause then he’s powerless and too weak to do something effective
It's too frustrating for me, I have to depend on randoms in solo queue because of region lock. And I am being paired with new players so everything is harder for me. And with the dodge nerfs I can't even do anything anymore.
He officially made me unistall the game. Season 6 was already lackluster but Baby literally makes the game just not fun to play at all. And the fact that I have to watch his cutscenes every game became painfully obnoxious. I had my fun on Breakers but i’m done.
I thought this vid was just gonna be going to level 2 when STM comes up and he wins. Cause they dont get supplies when at level 2. God they fucked up their game HARD.
Imagine being in a house or cave looking for supplies, then you see a civi blocking the exit and realize baby is still lv1. Literally nothing you can do, because for all intents and purposes, Baby is more or less invincible as lv1.
Idk if the game will have more steam to keep going after this season. Baby is kinda cool ¿but what then? ¿i guess we can get pride troopers? Level 1 Dyspo, Level 2 Toppo, Level 3 God Toppo and Level 4 Jiren with a full power variant after half HP. Or maybe like a DB character, maybe Piccolo with Level 1 Drum, Level 2 Tambourine, Level 3 Piccolo and Level 4 Piccolo JR. ¿But then what?
@@josecriollo6976 Problem with half of those is that the lvl 1 and 2s of most of them are gonna be just random goons (Cooler's goons, then regular Cooler, then Final Form. Same with Turles, Slug and Garlick .Jr). I can see androids happening but i cannot see a lvl 4 that is cool enough to merit a character (maybe like Gero and 19 as lvl 1, 17 at lvl 2, 18 at lvl 3 and 16 lvl 4. Unless you're saying something like Androids 13, 14 and 14, i can see that happening). Janemba doesn't have enough transfirmations to merit a full character, unles you make him start at lvl 3 somehow and lvl 4 is really hard to get (would require a whole new set of mechanics). I can see DBZ Broly happening aswell but ppl would complain about having 2 Brolies. Omega Shenron and Cell Max i can see happening tho
@@santir2396 they made baby a civ and vegeta a saibaiman surely they'll be fine with random goons, plus with androids I mean 17 & 18 its very easy lvl 1 19, lvl 2 gero, lvl 3 either 17 or 18 alone, lvl 4 both 17 & 18 (goku black and zamasu kind of thing) With cooler it could be lvl 1 one of cooler's soldiers, lvl 2 cooler, lvl 3 final cooler, lvl 4 metal cooler Both slug and garlick jr have a lot of "goons" so they would probably work like the ginyu force having slug and full power garlick as lvl 4s, and by that regard you can easily picture a bojack gang raider and a demon king piccolo raider With turles you are right that is kinda hard to see him in the raider progression Janemba could work like broly starting at a higher lvl but they could also just make lvl 1 ogres, lvl 2 resurrected villains, lvl 3 fat janemba and lvl 4 janemba Now we know that they dont necesarilly have to follow the lvl 1 to 4 scheme, dont really need to pass every transformation and can also have dual raiders so the possibilities are unparalel
How to beat baby step 1 ignore civilians entirely their already too far gone step 2 kill any civilian who moves congragulations you now know how to survive and kill baby
Naw, defeated two people playing Baby. A team that works together is still the key. Y’all keep thinking this every time a new raider drops. Try counting the W-L record after Ranked with the sweats and that new Leaderboard.
Incorrect you can very easily lose as baby Vegeta Believe me I know considering as Goku black I rarely lost any matches for most of the season But I've barely won the first 3 matches as baby and then completely lost the last 2 Because I can't get outta lv 1 and its because of instant rise Jaco ship If there was anything they should have nerfed it's that And before anyone mentions aubah winning the match Those players aren't the ones you usually run into that smack you all over the place and even then aubah is a ridiculously good player I've very rarely seen him lose a match
