Today I do a reaction to a SKAP ATTACK video called Jordan v LeBron: The Most Pathetic Debate in Sports History. Head over to his channel and shoot him a like and subscribe, he's great! Link is below: • Jordan v LeBron: The M...
What most people never mention is that jordan was a better athlete in terms of overall athleticism. He was basically Russell Westbrook and ja Morant combined.
Go and see the interest in the NBA chart during Jordan's era and how after 1998 it never went back to the same popularity. The NBA has been in dire need to create the next Michael Jordan. But that's the problem. The NBA didnt create Michael Jordan so they dont know how to re-create him. They tried with Kobe but they failed. They tried with Lebron - and they failed. Kobe was wise to recognize this fact that he wasnt Michael Jordan and he never tried to be Michael Jordan and he never tried to compete with his legacy. Lebron on the other hand is arrogant enough to think he can outdo Michael Jordan. This is why too much business in sports is a bad idea. Due to the capitalistic need to grow - the NBA as a business is hungry for growth and they couldnt just let greatness just happen whenever it does as natural. Nope. They had to always try and try to outdo the last great thing. But it doesnt go like that. Genius and greatness are like lightning. Nobody has control over it. Sometimes it can happen at the same time 2 or 3 people to live in the same era. Sometimes 200 years need to pas for it to happen. No matter what ESPN analysts say- people need to listen to basketball players and coaches who are the real experts at the game and the wast majority of them tells you the same thing. MJ is the GOAT and will be for quite some time. That was a man who was born to play basketball. From the genetics, to the environment he grew up in - he happened. He played with passion and passion and what passion can create - no ammount of dedication and willpower can recreate.
My only argument to your statement is that Kobe DID try to be MJ. His antics and celebration was straight out of MJs highlights. Blowing his fingers when he got hot. Trying to have a flu game but they lost. Celebrating the championship exactly like MJ. He can lie on his documentary that he patterned his game around all these lakers, but we all know who he wanted to be
@@teamcaveman Kobe coppied MJ's moves and took what was best from MJ. Nobody denies this. He called MJ late and ask him on the phone about all sorts of things about the game. But Kobe said in an interview long time ago MJ is the GOAT and the media should let Kobe do Kobe and let him be himself. He refused the comparison long time ago. He wanted to succeed at his own pace and as something different than going against Michael Jordan's legacy as teh GOAT. Whenever asked about MJ ne would say "Oh, The GOAT". He never claimed he is the GOAT. On the contrary- he always reminded everyone that Jordan is the GOAT. he deliberately invented his own brand "The Black Mamba" and this is when people stopped comparing the two directly.
@@robotube7361 BTW, Black Mamba was originally Uma Thurmond from Kill Bill. Kobe himself gave himself that nickname after the movie because he was tired of being the Air Apparent. That’s a good thing separating himself from MJ, but don’t get the name from a movie that just came out
Michael Jordan is the Goat. No doubt about it. Want to clarify that MJ's scoring titles were actually 10 consecutive seasons played (87-93 & 96-98). An amazing accomplishment but not 10 years in a row.
Yea, 7 consecutive years followed by 3 consecutive years. Somebody will make the argument that, in one sense, this is more impressive than 10 consecutive years, if you consider the significance of momentum in sports, and the difficulty to recover after a break in momentum….in Jordan’s case - almost a 2-year break in momentum. Also consider that the Boston Celtics of the late 50s and early to mid 60s won 8 straight titles before an outside force (the Philadelphia 76ers) broke their momentum. On the other hand, Michael Jordan won the scoring title for 7 consecutive years, before breaking his own momentum by deciding to retire for almost 2 consecutive years. So yea, in some sense the recovery to again run off another 3 years of dominance should be considered a greater accomplishment than 10 consecutive years. But then again, 10 consecutive years is 10 uninterrupted years of development dominance, which may look and actually be more impressive than “taking a break” for almost 2 years in-between streaks. Either way, Michael Jordan is the single greatest scoring force in basketball’s illustrious history.
@@rodneyd76 It was 10 consecutive years of his active play, not 10 consecutive seasons of the NBA. Other players led the league in between Michael's 7th and 8th scoring titles. I'm simply explaining the specifics of this record.
And you can’t put that much emphasis on MVP’s either. The league didn’t want to give MJ MVP year after year, they wanted to spread it around and looked for ways to give it to others.
exactly, basically it's like current day Jokic. MJ should've won MVP every year from 1988-1998 minus the year and a half he played baseball but the league couldn't do that lol.
@@TheRealMindCrime 1997 will likely always be the most egregious MVP robbery of all time... at least Malone got donkey punched in the Finals by MJ for stealing that one from him.
@@TheRealMindCrime The 2 seasons that Jordan didn't get the League MVP, he met the MVP winner in the NBA finals and beat them. 1992-93 season he beat Barkley(MVP) and the Suns and in 1996-97 season he beat Malone(MVP) and the Jazz. I'm sure all the MVP voters those years realized that they had made a mistake.💯🔥🔥🔥
Truth be told the Jordan vs Lebron debate just makes Jordan greater every year as someone born in the era every comparison adds more context to Jordan’s greatness. The fact he almost had 40 for a season. 32 8 8 from just playing PG. 9 82 games season? Than when Curry was at his best the damn 72-10 season never lost a 3 straight games ever in a season? Then the whole 2000 ppg 5000 5000 with 100 100 a season totals. And the fact MJ and Bron are both tied for career blocks. Jordan’s career is crazy. When I first heard Jordan leads the league in career ppg average 30.1?? Shit is damn crazy. To add context to that wilt doesn’t even have a higher career ppg 😮
And it will get worse when he'll retire. Imagine if Doncic or Wemby get a three peat, while the medias won't defend Lebron anymore as they will have new toys. At the same time Lebron's former teammates will start to talk about him and what nightmare it was to defend while he was busy complaining at the refs.
@@egrassa1480 Sad effect of stat-padding. People forget the stat that matters - WINNING. MJ & Kobe had absolute control of the game - the fact that LeBron stans don't understand that if MJ/Kobe wanted to, they could have won less & put up WAYYYY more impressive stats than LeBron. But they knew the real goal.
And the 2023 Western Conference Finals absolutely fking ended the debate. He got swept by Nikola Jokic with zero all-stars but himself, and Lebron ended the series with a layup air-ball, and to put the cherry on top, an egregious shot off the side of the backboard, how come ESPN isn’t mentioning any of this.
Ppl on purpose not to mention the opponents MJ played against, in that era Danny Ainge, Dennis Johnson, Jeff Hornacek, Mark Price…were stars. Players were averagely more skinny, smaller, slower, only a few can jump high or shoot 3’s, no big man can dribble, no eurosteps, no shammgod. They played brute, but no skills. Hand check yes, but no zone defense, to which Kobe said “I don’t care if yo hand check with 3 hands” “the zone I think cripples some of the top scorers” When prime MJ left the bulls in 93’ the went from 57 wins to 55, when prime LeBron left cavaliers in 10’ they went 62 wins to 19. And MJ fans always lie about MJ stuff, for example "his vertical jump is 48 inches" and "his body fat ratio is 3%" If those were true, LeBron & Carter would have a 50 inch vertical jump and Helmut Strebl would have -3% body fat ratio.
Era of big men : Hakeem, Ewing, Robinson, Mourning, Shaq, Parish, Mutombo,... and great power forwards: Malone, Kemp, Barkley ,Oakley, Rodman, Horace Grant,... all that in the 90s! If you put Magic, Bird, Thomas in 80s, then Jordan didn't face weak competition at all!
@@juliuslim8853slower players? mf thinks humans today are like superrobots compared to the players back smh they are as stronger as it now with tougher defense and they will be better if they are playing today wtf this man is saying
@@juliuslim8853Players were not slower. They were bigger, faster and stronger in the 80s-90s than they were today. The league and ESPN/Disney are selling a lie about present day athleticism. They were skinner then because they were in better shape. All lean muscle. They didn’t stand around for 3s like today’s players, flopping and whining about calls instead of running back on D. They didn’t load manage their way to only playing 60 games even in their primes. Come to think of it, they don’t play D at all now, which was most of the workout of the old game. The lie about big men being unskilled in Jordan’s era is so bad it belongs on Fox News. Ewing, Robinson, Olajuwon, Kemp and Malone all could shoot midrange jumpers, had dozens of post moves, could face up and beat you off the dribble, could handle the rock and could run the floor and even run a fast break. You doubt Jordan’s vertical- cool but it’s documented and he has dozens of dunks where his mouth was at the rim level and he could’ve eaten a cupcake off of it. But don’t let reality stop you. His 3% body fat? Dude have you seen Bulls Jordan shirtless? He was Black Hercules. Literally 100% ripped muscle. He looked even more impressive than the damn statue of him at the United Center. JFC man.
He averaged 35 points per game on like 54.5% shooting while averaging the most blocks for any guard in a single season and 3.2 steals per game. You cannot convince me that 1988 michael jordan wasn't a fucking alien 😂
Definitely not. The entire reason he makes all these crazy comments about being the greatest & all that other egomania shit is because he's deeply insecure. True greats like MJ let other people talk about their greatness. Guys like LeBitch have to try to convince everyone by talking themselves up constantly.
@justincadle7070 Don't ever underestimate LeBron's ego. I used to think that too until the ESPY where LeBrick forced his wife to say it on national TV. LeChoke definitely believes his own hype.
I think that the debate should be MJ vs. Kobe or Bird or Magic. Michael is the biggest star of them all. LeBron has the most overall points and the most overall missed shots. Because of LeBron's longevity. Right after the comeback down 3-1 in 2016, the Cavs won 3 straight games to win the NBA Championship. LeBron claimed he was the greatest player of all-time. MJ won 6 Championships, LeBron lost 6 Championships. What happened last year between the Nuggets and Lakers? It was an early exit for LeBron.
The dirty little secret about 2016 is that Warriors team was overrated & lucky to get to 73 wins... It was during a meta game shift in the NBA, switching to the true 3 point spamming era, and most teams just weren't constructed to be able to match up with the Warriors but the few that were didn't have all that much trouble with them. Hell - a very, very unremarkable Thunder team took those Warriors to 7 games (& were up 3-1 as well). If the Thunder would have closed them out would KD be calling himself the greatest of all time? That was a good title for LeBron but his obsession with his own ego is really overstating that accomplishment. He's nowhere near Jordan & the debate is stupid considering he should be worried about comparisons with other fringe top-5 guys - he is not near the same tier as Jordan & never will be.
I don’t even think Lebron surpasses Kobe or Duncan. Lebron is top 10. Just because he had longevity records like most points scored doesn’t make him the goat. It’s ridiculous how the Lebron goat discussion is even a thing.
MJ is the GOAT LBJ doesn’t come close it’s just a trick to get more fans Edit i am 23 only got to watch Jordan on his Wizards days but I’ve watched all of the championship games
Seeing it live growing up was a joy. I feel lucky honestly. Saw Bird, Magic, MJ, Kobe, AI, Tmac, Lebron, etc. Now we got guys like Steph and Luka lol. Basketball is awesome.
Funny thing is, kids assume all us "old heads" were huge mj/bulls fans.. MJ broke the hearts of the majority of the old heads that call him goat. But those who watched mjs career then saw bron..there is NO argument to have.
So true. Here in Arizona everyone hated MJ cuz he beat us in the Finals in 93. They called him a cheater and ball hog. But all those people I grew up with who said that stuff now checked their emotions and all tell me MJ is the greatest ever without a doubt.
6:22 “When I beat those 7 teams who had a combined record of 55-75 (42% winning percentage) and won the first-ever In-Season Tournament Sin-City Las Vegas Nevada Championship plus the BLM Mickey Tricky Disney Orlando Florida Bubble Championship, those two right there made me the greatest player of all-time.” - LeBron James 💪
Michael jordan had statistically the worst supporting cast of all time in 1998. Almost in every single one of Jordan's final runs, he had a top ten all-time worst supporting cast
I was just drinking with a buddy last night and listing MJs teammates from that era asking his what they ever did away from Jordan. Kerr went on to average his 6 points a game with the Spurs and Rodman had success before MJ with the Pistons but everyone else fell into oblivion fast.
The moment MJ came into the league, he was WITHOUT debate the greatest. Players, coaches and fans just KNEW who the top player was. There was no conversation, no debate, without hesitation people knew. Now we have to deal with this garbage.
I know. All thay MJ needed to prove is that he could lead a team to championships. Individually we all knew he was the greatest from day 1. So he shut everyone up by getting 6 rings, 1 ncaa champ, and 2 gold medals 😆
You have just opened the trove of treasure. Skap has so many videos to crack. You got to tap the many Kobe > LeBron videos too. Skap often calls Kobe "the actual real best player in the world at the time." Kobe's playoff competitors had win percentage higher than Jordan's. The 2000s game pace was even slower than the 90s just to give you some preview.
RMC that might be the perfect way of putting it simple. "Someones got a failing grade and the other has a perfect score." That was just too damn good and simply said. Beautiful.
Does anyone really think LeBron would have been able to play for 20yrs back in the 80s or 90s when he'd have to bang bodies in the paint to get those dunks? Yeah, no.
As football fans who don't know basketball itself, Messi need a longevity to become goat. But the fact Jordan not even playing same era with lefraud yet he still universally accepted as goat, is show how great he was
I agree! Guy retired over 20 years ago and he's still the goat. Most people would be forgotten by now but he's still the goat. Thanks for watchin hari!
6:39 Rickey Henderson called himself the greatest when he broke the all time stolen base record, he got critized for in the media. However, later on he came out and said he regretted saying that more than anything from his career. He didn't make excuses even though im sure he said it in context of base stealing which would've made him correct. Any chance LBJ will ever admit calling himself the goat is low class? 😂
Lol Lebron will never admit it. Besides, he didn't call himself the greatest at 1 thing, he said the greatest of all time. Meaning the best in the sport there has ever been. Man....R Henderson was my boy. I loved watching him steal bases.
Michael Jordan real nickname should be "The Dream Catcher" cause every team, superstar, etc that faced him, had their dreams of winning a championship taken away by Jordan and the Bulls.
Youre talking about 1988 jordan winning a scoring title mvp and dpoy but to me more impressive is the 1994 hakeem season where he won a championship and finals mvp an mvp and dpoy
Yeah im young too im like 17 but ive studied the game but i should start watching some of the greatest performances of the greatest players and finals series
That's a fair point. It's damn impressive. I think the reason Jordan's win is given so much weight is because he also won the scoring title in the same season. He's the only player ever to do that and it's such a paradigm breaking moment because when you put that in context, it's incredible. It means he was the best offensive player and the best defensive player in the league in the same season. Those are both more individual awards than say a championship which is really a team award. I'm not saying it's right or wrong. I'm just giving my opinion as to possibly why that season of MJ is held in such high regard. It literally flipped the script. Up to that point a great scorer was never the best defensive player too or vise versa. However, he tends to be the exception to a lot of rules like scoring champs don't win rings and teams couldn't win rings without a dominant big man. Now having said that, I'm not commenting on the GOAT debate. I think it's not quantifiable in anyone's case. It can't be proven.
This clear as day Lebron fan told me that because Jordan has never beaten a team with more than 3 HOFs that makes Lebron the better player than Jordan. I laugh at him every time
😆 🤣 😂 i love it. I have 2 big time bron fans i hsbg out with. Used to work together. Younger than me. Our debates are hilarious cuz they never knoe what to do when i bring the facts. They just echo the same stuff nick wright always says lol
Lol! I love it!! Imagine lebron james climbing up Mt. Everrest and walking about 50 ft up the mountain then stopping and shouting I'm the greatest, I made it to the top!!! Im the GOAT!!!! Then michael jordan, being at the very top of Mt. Everrest and looking down on what looks like a little ant because the dot is so far away and can't make it out!!! The separation between jordan and lebron is HUGE! Nobody should ever say michael jordans name and that other guys name in the same sentence in all honesty hahaha 😂
Imagine a world in which a player tries to game the system in order to get rings and stats, to include playing with more talented teammates, playing in a weaker conference, playing in a softer era from a defensive standpoint, and playing roughly 50% longer than MJ. Imagine a world in which a player did all of that and yet STILL FAILED to surpass the greatness of MJ, but goes around calling himself the GOAT anyway... That's called NARCISSISM. No need to imagine it. We're living in that world this very moment.
I can’t wait for LeFlop to retire. Hopefully people wake up to his false GOAThood when he’s gone. The more I learn about how terrible LeFlop is the further he drops down my all time list.
Nah, it's just an opinion. There is no objective GOAT, everyone has a different view and criteria on what greatness really is. An example of this is do you value longevity or peak more. If you have a heavy emphasis on peak, then MJ will probably be your GOAT. If you have more of an emphasis on longevity, then you will probably side with LeBron. My problem is that a lot of MJ and LeBron fans resort to attacking the other player instead of building up their own player.
Imagine winning 3.5 championships in 21 years and choking in 2007 and 2011 shooting 35% FG with an 8 point game in the finals and calling yourself “chosen” and the GOAT. Delusional.
Chris Broussard said it best. Jordan was the first one to dominate statistically and winning. He was the best offensive player and the best defensive player and won two 3peats in 8 years after taking 1 3/4 years off to play another sport. Lebron has brought this on himself with this. I'd look at him more favorably if he wasn't trying to spread something that is obviously not true to anyone who is over 30 years old.
Every time I see videos like this I ask the same thing man "How is this even a debate?" 10 scoring titles, 9 all defensive teams , 11 all NBA teams and it goes on and on. Jordan gave maximum effort on both ends of the court LeBron don't give maximum effort on either side. This is not close Jordan is the man, period and he's not my favorite player so it's not even the Lestan thing of my fav player has to be a GOAT
Definitely on point. Also, Jordan was forced out by Jerry out of jealousy! The bulls would have come back because Jordan was still the best player in the league! He could have had one or two more chips. Also, while he was playing, he deprived great teams winning the chip!
Nooo my brother, Dennis Rodman was MUCH more than a rebounder! He was a defensive menace (Dennis the Menace) and excelled at getting into the opposition mental on a regular and dove for every loose ball. The intangibles in other words, the fucker never stopped running! Big ups Mr. Rodman 👏
It's true....they simply have no idea how great MJ was. They haven't experienced what a season looks like when MJ is playing all 82 then winning a ring
LeBumsniffer is better than MJ as follows: 1. Flopping 2. False claims 3. Victimhood 4. Favorited refs calls 5. Fake injuries 6. Not my fault master 7. Needs more help 8. Played for 3 teams not 1 9. Calling ppl racist 10. Taking the limelight off other players better than him (this is a big list of awesome) 11. Falling over 12. Turn overs 13. Highest +/- score avg I can go on forever - but.. my brain is getting dumber thinking about his skills.
Jordan never lost 2 games in a row from 1990-1998. Jordan scored 3041 points in 1986-87. First and only since Wilt Chamberlain in 1962-63. Jordan is the only player to win Defensive Player of The Year, MVP and scoring title in the same year (1987-88). Jordan never played a Game 7 in the NBA Finals. Jordan still holds the all-time regular season scoring average (30.1ppg) and the all-time playoff scoring average (33.4ppg). Jordan is 1st all-time in game winning shots (9). Jordan is top 5 all-time in blocks and steals for guards.
The man was a beast. Only correction to this is he wasn't in the Olympics in 87. He played in 84 and 92 and won Gold both times going undefeated as an olympian. Thanks for watchin my friend! Next vid hits tomorrow.
They changed the criteria for an assist. It's not really an assist anymore. They also credit Leflop with more steals and way less turnovers while he plays for some reason. He still manages to jave the most turnovers in the history of the NBA also the most missed shots ever.
That's domination. Plus 6 titles i the 90s. Pure domination. Lebron just missed the playoffs 2 years ago right? On the same team that won a ring in the bubble. How does the "GOAT" allow that??
Lebron- I am the GOAT Get outplayed snd locked down by Jason Terry a bench player Have to join multiple future hall of famers to win a title Claim that he will win mutiple titles with the Heats (2-2 in the finals with the heats) Got swept nutiple times in the finals or conference finals Outplayed by Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant
Alright @therealmindcrime, here’s a deep prediction about Lebron’s post nba influence. Hopefully you read comments on old vids too lol. I predict that as time goes on, the media will have less interest in supporting Lebron’s GOAT narrative. There will one day be a new ‘face of the league’ player with an advanced basketball body like MJ or Lebron (he may be in the league already). A generational talent. And this player will have seen Lebron’s bs and hates it just like we do. This player will essentially become the ‘what lebron could have been’ player. The media will forget about LB and praise their shiny new toy. LB isn’t dumb, he will try to do everything in his power to preserve his GOAT legacy. And I think by attempting to do this he will do some pretty gross stuff. Imagine when he doesn’t have basketball to take up all his time. Food for thought?
I do lol. I agree Matt. I think they are trying to already. Ant was getting pushed really hard this post season and the media has started turning on Lebron over the past few weeks. If they are already starting I think once he retires the floodgates will open. The only thing I think might go differently than what you say is that they are back to looking for the next Jordan instead of the next Lebron. They went in heavy with comparing Ant to MJ at the same time they started bashing Lebron lol.
@@TheRealMindCrime Good! Get him and kd outta here and let the nba heal. Ive heard some podcast clips that are starting to expose LB. But why are we even talking about this, at the end of the day its just basketball. 🤦♂️
Banger! His Airness is untouchable I'm sorry lebrick, no Leflop fans. This made up debate, pisses me off for 2 reasons, it's not a debate number 1, and 2 why are they pushing LeBron over Kobe, Kobe got 5 rings he's still better than James R I P Mamba
Exactly. Dislocated thumb? Snap it back in place and let me play! Kobe was a beast. Lebron stays down longer during a no contact flop than kobe did when he tore his Achilles
The problem with saying that you understand that youngins can say that bron is the best because this is the technology era! The entire history of the NBA is documented and can easily be accessed! It’s verifiable articles that can be read, games snd clips that can be seen and actual players that played telling their stories that can be heard…no excuse can be made for ANYONE to say that they didn’t see MJ play so therefore he can’t be better than bron…no excuse!
Yeah. There's a big difference between growing up watching someone play and just watchin highlights online though. So this gen grew up watching Bron and can't imagine someone was better. I felt the same way with MJ when people said Wilt was better. But to your point there is muuuuch more footage on MJ than Wilt online lol.
@@TheRealMindCrimeyeah, it’s a lily different watching someone play vs looking at clips and highlights…but that doesn’t negate the fact it’s veritable evidence that the history has been documented and easily accessible! You can learn about players from the oast and compare that to the product of today! But this “debate” in particular has full games, full highlights and anything else that you want/need to know about MJ! So to say that this gen has to say that bron is the best just because he is what they see, is just nonsense and a bad faith argument! Every game that MJ played can bee seen on RU-vid, the NBA app and anywhere else that has the data!
45-37 BOTH SEASONS with the Wizards. Good enough for a 10th seed back in the day......would've been a 4th or 5th seed in either conference 2day. Look it up. Jordan is the greatest basketball player ever.
LBJ fans claim to him being the GOAT over MJ is his scoring record all time.Which is a weak argument. If that was the barometer then I'd have Kareem over him.Kareem had it for the longest time,he also had more rings in 20 years than LBJ
In 20 years nobody will be talking about LeBronze. He’ll be forgotten. He has no real bag. All he does is barrel into people illegally or crab dribble which is what he does most of the time. No footwork. No legit pump fakes. The man spends a million dollars a year on his body but not a penny on his actual game. The guy has been an atrocious free throw shooter his entire career to the point that he actively tries not to get the ball at the end of games because he can’t really shoot and he doesn’t want to miss game winning free throws. He’s the bagless one as Skap calls him.
Yup. And he's not clutch and he lost more championship series than he won lol. We don't respect Lebron so I think time will forget him and his traveling, super team creating, flopping ways.
Nobody that ever called themselves the greatest that played a team sport was the greatest, that just disrespects so many people, especially when you ain’t got the awards to prove it only two maybe three people could claim it none of whom would be LBJ
Yessir! Lebron is acting like he's a boxer like Ali lol. MJ says he doesn't like the goat thing and instead says he had the greatest team of all time in 95. That's the way to do it!
LeBron's stats don't impress me at all because of the inflated media coverage and INFLATED, PADDED stats he has. It only takes looking at his 'assists' (which are PASSES) and how many times he TRAVELS. Those 2 points, alone, take him completely out of the GOAT conversation... MANY other players are much better. Jordan only had ONE, short-lived, true challenge to his dominance. Len Bias. I'd have loved to have seen that rivalry, or maybe teammate pair. But, "woulda, coulda, shoulda".
the comparison for LeBron should be with Kobe, and I would still go with Kobe Bryant as a better overall basketball player... placing LeBron behind M.J., Kobe, Jabbar and Duncan.
The current narrative is driven to make fans think they are seeing something extra special and the best ever. This is done in an attempt to drive up ratings and attendance = it is all about money. While science and technology do advance = it is wrong to make the assumption that players of a sport are just better today than previous players. The video and you are spot on. Thanks.
Thank you! I do think Lebron is one of the greatest but he's not better than some people that came before him. It's a focused narrative to trick us and it is really disrespectful to MJ, Magic, Bird, Kareem, Kobe, Russell, etc.
It’s literally no comparison frfr lebron literally would get cooked playing 5v5 against Mj any team he was on Mj literally will go to work u gotta stop him if u can’t score or play defense it’s no comparison
Exactly. Lebron has dominated zero eras. MJ dominated the entire 90s. Magic and Bird shared the 80s. What did lebron do? Play 20 years and win 4 with 3 different super teams? That is not dominant.
@@TheRealMindCrime the bubble scrimmage ring is only 25% of a real ring. I’m glad I found your channel. I made sure to subscribe. Thanks for doing what you’re doing.
@@TheRealMindCrime he just isn’t a honorable person. The team hopping is especially egregious. Also the fact that he’s this massive guy yet he flops and flails on the ground like an idiot. I’ve never seen any other player go through those kind of histrionics when they’re barely touched.
Let's put those stats aside and talk about their perspective to the game of basketball, MJ has never ever throw his teammates under the bus at any given point, whenever the Bulls win he said " we " win not " I " win, when they lose, he never back away from the criticism and blame, he either said I didnt play good enough when he had a off night, or said we didn't perform at top level when he got good numbers but still lose, never once he openly criticize his team, he take the glory with the team win and the responsibility with the team when they lose, a true leader. LBJ? well we all know his side of story, recently two games he played, one against the Pelicans and the other against Heat, for t he Pelicans they lose by 20 points in t he end which is a blown out, yet the sport media made the title-LBJ shined in this game with a 34/5/8, even worse against the heat where he only got 12/9/6 with 33% for 2 and 0% in 3 while 4 other players in his team played better than him, but somehow people say LBJ needs " more help " and need to trade everyone but AD away, when LBJ, a man who proclaim himself as the GOAT, once again need more help when he under performs. And his fan boys are asking why can't we just " appreciate " his " greatness " and have to criticize him like a hater.
Curious how many banners were hanging in Chicago before Jordan got there? I mean LBJ says he's the GOAT because he brought a title to Cleveland. Did he hang more than 3 straight banners? more than 6?
I dont know about Lebron. He claims to be the goat but when he was young he went up against Dallas Mavs and JJ Barea showed him how it was done. Bwahahahaha. Some goat!
I think they just see the accumulated stats lebron has and assume that makes him the best. Just cuz he stuck around the longest. But that doesn't make someone great. Just means his body held up long enough to lose 6 finals lol
