Most of trumps followers live nowhere near a border and have bought into his hate and anger. I live in Texas, in the Houston suburbs (Spring/The Woodlands) and we have a large number of immigrants in this county. I find them to be decent and honest people who are just here because they want a better life for themselves and their family.. we would do the same if we were in their shoes.

Did we watch the same debate? At multiple points Cruz was able to explain bills he had authored, co-authored, and worked with Democrats to get passed; Allred would then just continue repeating himself without answering the questions. Jesus christ, if you people are just going to get your opinions from the media then stop watching it; you are being lied to through their teeth.
I know a girl from Texas who's studying in the Netherlands. She's 21 and she's so excited because this will be her first time voting. She comes from a long line of Republicans in her family. She will vote Democrat up and down the ballot.

Texas has always been a beacon of freedoms and a way of living that screams freedom to me. A womans right to healthcare is a matter of freedom amd keeping politicians out of the bedroom and doctors offices of those making real decisions screams freedom to me. I had a newborn when the power went out. A month old. Me, my wife, our newborn and our dog (yes we took our dog out of the cold!) stayed in a car. You know how hard it is to take care of a newborn in a car? I was scared for his life. The gas stations were closed. We only had so long. When I heard about Ted Cruz going on vacation, I was livid. I knew by the way Trump dog walked Cruz he was spineless, but when he left for vacation while so many in Texas are fighting for our lives, and the lives of our family, that really took the cake. He is the worst of us. A weasel.

The panel should have asked him. He was one of the planners. He’s proudly misused his knowledge of Constitutional Law to chip away at voter’s rights for decades. He’s been in the vanguard to deny gay rights, women’s rights and immigration reform his entire career. He’s always supported corporate personhood and is in the pocket of big oil. (And anyone with an ‘aire’ in their descriptor). He went to Cancun because he sides with the energy community that purposely let Texans freeze to death just to increase their profits an iota.

I'll vote Democrat in this race, but I agree, no Pride flags should ever fly over government facilities, just like no Christian Nationalist flag should either. Those are both political flags and are person opinion based sources of pride. I support gay rights, but keep your flags amongst your personal property.

Allred is as solid of an individual with positive Texas values as there is. He is the antithesis of Cruz. Please Texas, VOTE Allred in and give Texas women and workers a better chance.
