It has some upsides to it though. Yeah The Neighbor's story may be really sad and it doesn't seem like The Neighbor is ever going to get a happy ending but Nicky (the guy we play as in the first game) his story is a lot more positive, he grows past his trauma and moves on in his life which for me makes the ending of the game really satisfying. I definitely find it clever how Tinybuild told two stories in the first game but unfortunately, because of how vague it is, it's very easy to get confused.
it's funny how the story takes place from many different perspectives Nicky tried to save his friend mya lost her mom and died the rescue squad wanted to save Nicky but got kidnapped Quetin was breaking into the locals houses just to save Aaron
He’s actually scared, he lost his wife and daughter, his wife passed away in a car crash and his daughter by Aaron accedentaly pushing her off a plank and after that the hello neighbor didn’t want the same for him so he locked Aaron in a basement.
All though everyone says it’s a bad game but I honestly love the obstacles cuz I’m the type of person who love challenges although it’s not that good either but it’s worth playing for me because I love solving the story and it is a sad story really breaks my heart even though it’s a game but it’s not really worth playing after I beat act 3 and the finale I haven’t played since like 6 months ago I would give it a 6/10 really enjoy just messing with the neighbor though ❤❤❤
It’s a sad story like i loved that game as a kid bc FGteev played it thats why i played and I didn’t know as a kid that the story was so sad and as a kid I watched their videos to see what i needed to do im playing the hello neighbor on ps4 and its pretty good I haven’t beat it yet
You know. it may have a sad story. but its way too convoluted and confusing. The gameplay isn't great either as the game is based on parkour but the parkour sucks. I played it. Thought I liked it, but now I realize I had to look up multiple walkthroughs and I had to abuse glitches to beat the game. Not to mention tinybuilds false promises of an advanced AI that just got dumber every alpha because of the expanding house. I barely saw the neighbor in act 3 ever. I will say they have improved with hello neighbor 2 though. There are still tons of glitches, almost braindead AI, and confusing puzzles, broken promises, there was very little parkour, and the artstyle was a perfect mix of cartoony and realistic. I genuinely liked it a lot more than the original and luckily they are adding lots more content to the game every patch. I do really hope they bring back Hello Guest as I was really excited for that game as it seemed it had the most potential. The hello neighbor series is pretty disappointing at times. But they can make good games. I know that because almost every time the alphas and betas are better than the full game, but also completely different.

Out of all the Hello Neighbor games Hide and Seek is probably my favourite. It goes more into the lore than the others do except Hello Neighbor act 1 and even act 2. Along with Hello Neighbor 2 it goes a tiny bit in lore.
The creating wanted a lot of lore for the player to actually find out and when we grow older, we gain more knowledge about this and it’s really sad disturbing and very frustrating to see what we couldn’t along time ago
Hello Neighbor is the best game i’ve played and this game makes me cry every time i play it or i look at videos with it 😢😭i miss the 2016-2018 best years of my life but i still love with the whole of my heart this game thank you tiny build!
I agree, hello neighbor is overhated but I know why, the game was first a game that was buggy but didn’t make it impossible to do even a jump. Also Tinybuild wasn’t begging anyone to play there game. Because of that 2016 was the best year for Hello Neighbor, I still like hello neighbor and I’m not lying the art style was one of the things I hated. Because though alpha pre and 1 it was more of a real life art style then though alpha 2 and full release it turned into a weird art style
Hello neighbor is the best game ever. Brings back so much memories I remember playinh it with my lil cousin and we were to scared to complete act 1 and all we did was throw stuff at em In honor i now I learned to speedrun full game and beat act 1 and 2 in less than 5 mins
this game was always.. something else to me. it stood out to me. first I was scared to play, now everyday I zoom into my neighbor's house, steal everything I can, juke him, glitch the game and a LOT MORE. hello neighbor is definitely a W. 1000000/10 😁🗣️🗣️🔥
But the game is ass tho, the act 1 & 2 are Alr, but act 3🫢, the neighbor is projected to stay in a 1/2 floors house, not in an house like this, he can’t get in 80% of the house, + there is 2 much glitch, but the lore…😕 and all off the memories ☹️, it’s something different with other games
@@Fili033 You should get a mod called "The neighbors comeback" its basically alpha 1 but with 4 floors and the neighbor can access the whole house, and the game actually feels like what it was supposed to be
Having a story is great and all, but forgetting about the core of the game (breaking and entering type stealth) ends up making the final product not an enjoyable experience to play through normally (imo). I had more fun trying to break the neighbors ai and sometimes it breaks without even trying. Also the cartoony style ends up making me not take the story seriously enough to care about the neighbor and his family. having a cartoony art style can help the game but not to this extent. Remember when this game was supposed to be scary? Yea, I sure do. I am not saying you cant enjoy this game, if you do that's great. I am just sharing my thoughts on this.
Hello neighbour sucks, the story wasn't what we asked for, it's more buggy then the alpha (somehow) the maps are too big so the A.I. (The main selling point of it) breaks every second and finally, the puzzles are the worst thing ever, so no. It's not god, great or even decent.
Hello Neighbour died a long time ago because of its lore, it has very boring and forgettable lore. This game had an amazing concept which is how it got so popular, this game is just a game, nothing else.
@@WWE4LlFE i’ve gotten a place in the top 50 of no glitches speedrun as well as getting every achievement and i’ve also played the entire game in one life (not including minigames) I have a lot of experience on the game and have been a fan of it ever since it came out. I am not insulting the game, just the lacklustre lore.
@@shutefup6259the game is trash tho, the act 3 house it’s too big for him, and full of glitches, the AI thing was cool but got removed, the neighbor is literally stupid, slow and always bugs in walls, and he can’t even see 80% of his house, but the final act, with the final Exit door, made me cry fr😢
