Her insurance already told her Abt the audio, but she was too stupid to figure out her money scam was over. If someone tells me they got audio and my insurance tells me declined based on that evidence. The gig would be up. Glad her dumb azz got busted. Doing insurance fraud and perjury. This man has a business that runs on keeping insurance and abiding state laws. Accidents like this can greatly increase his insurance rates or even get his insurance removed altogether. Although court tv litigants do sign a contract agreeing to abide by the judge's decision, I don't believe the judges on these shows have the authority to penalize perjury or contempt of court. It's why when folks yell at the judge or just really piss them off, all the judge can do is order them out of the room, & rule against them. I think lying in court or back-talking/yelling at the judge in an actual court is definitely punished, with fines & even jail time.

I don't think anyone is debating that the truck driver hit her but they are debating about who was REALLY at fault and it was her for slowing down to probably make a illegal left turn.
@terrim.9002
@terrim.9002 2 года назад
She could’ve been contemplating turning, slowing down and realized she couldn’t turn at the spot and tried to pull off. But the tow truck driver got irritated with her tried to illegally passed on her right side which she said had parking spots. It was clearly a 1 car lane. Had she told the truth that they scraped each other while driving off, the driver and company would have been liable for THAT illegal maneuver. She wouldn’t have been at fault because generally 1 car lanes DO NOT have a turning lane. There is no “illegal left turn” you have turn where you can a lot of times and all the cars behind you have to be patient and wait. 🤷🏽‍♀️
@groowanderer
@groowanderer 2 года назад
@@terrim.9002 who told you it was one lane only? You did and ran with it. Besides, even if it's one lane and the car is turning, you can go around them if there's room. Legally. But there has to be two lanes because after she decided she wanted to keep going and not turn, she wouldn't have had to change lanes, she couldn't just went straight in her own lane. She went into another lane and hit him. Thus two lanes. At the very least, there was a turning lane that she was in.
@terrim.9002
@terrim.9002 2 года назад
@@groowanderer you clearly didn’t see the diagram displayed or read what i wrote. If it was multiple lanes the drawing would’ve displayed that. I said the lane was a 1CAR lane not the road boo. It’s clearly aTWO WAY ROAD but a 1 CAR LANE. She never stated she switched lanes she clearly stated there are parking spots next to her lane which the tow used to pass her. 🙃 so who ran with what?
@groowanderer
@groowanderer 2 года назад
@@terrim.9002 so you think the diagram they let everyone use up there is an actual map image from the street where the accident occurred... 🤔 I don't think so. It's meant only to give an idea of what happened. She didn't need to state that she switched lanes. She clearly stopped then started driving again when she realized she was making a mistake, then didn't even look to see if it was clear. That's why she's at fault.

Confused doesn’t even begin to describe the plaintiff… I swear, she spoke to a lawyer who told her to sue for more (including “emotional distress”) and to pretend like the tow truck driver was using their size to intimidate her. So, she would come off as this sweet, innocent woman instead of actually being the nervous wreck that caused an accident.

The Plaintiff is more than nervous-- everybody is nervous being in court *and on TV,* but making the noise of the Defendant going around her, her facial expressions while she's talking, she's very *animated,* she can't follow very basic instructions---she's lost no matter how carefully somebody explains something.... I think she has a personality issue: finishes sentences only after "going around 3 left turns" to get to her point, .... IDK but *something* that makes her seem to have a "child-like impulsiveness." So quirky! Added: also, she couldn't begin to understand the point that she told the judge she was just glancing for outgoing traffic when she said something totally different in the recording... she **still** hasn't "connected those dots!"

That's why every insurance pamphlet tells you to never admit fault after an accident. Even if it seems like it was your fault, you don't know all the surrounding circumstances. For example, I hit a car making a left turn and thought it was my fault. But later learned that he turned left from a street that allowed right turns only. Glad I didn't admit fault cause they ended up paying a large settlement.

The facial expressions of this woman!!! They're unreal! I mean, they're very real. She is a woman who cannot lie. She shows every micro-expression on her face! I think her daughter is right, her mom is someone who is easily nervous, high strung, and anxious. The guy did hit her, but she clearly hesitated at that intersection. I'm sure she explained this to her insurance company and was honest with them, which is why they refused to pay the damage. But she still felt since he hit her, he should have to pay, but that's not how it works.
