Hi Rob, just wanted to point out that percentage of peptides in the actual product(Skin1004 centella poremising fresh ampoule) is probably very low, so they act as surface humectants. Actually peptides in this formula are very low on the ingredients list! But I still want to try it, so it goes to my wishlist❤
When I look up peptides, your videos come up many many times, they are all different and they are all exclaiming the VERY BEST RESULTS from this and that different serum which you proclaim as the BEST……
Rob, that blue you are wearing in this video looks amazing on you! It is really good with your coloring. I finally was able to purchase a few more bottes of Sub Q Skin! Every time I found out it was supposed to be back in stock, it was sold out. I keep hoping the Ordinary listens to their customers and keeps making Sub Q. I really think the market for it is a large one.

I wanna try it 😀 My only concern is to use it along side Ascorbic Acid... I know it is fine to use peptides with Vitamin C, but I heard that one exception is Copper Peptides... What do you think? 😙
I am currently using the Neogen - Sur-medic Azulene Soothing Peptide Ampoule (10 Peptides) in the evening with its beta-glucan, centella and liquorice I find it very calming and then my remaining Subq skin in the mornings - to make it last (as only have 7 bottles left after getting hold of a couple more.😊). I love the Skin 1004 Centella ampoule which I use as a boost to my G&G C-Glow in the mornings. I will review peptides again when my supply runs low ( a little while left I think) but who knows what is around the corner waiting to be released.

I ordered the Skin 1004 Poremizing Ampoule and the matching Toner today because of you, Rob! Shipping is going to take forever but I can't wait to try it!
@@kim-uv9tp So far both are very gentle and lightweight. They absorb completely and don't leave my (super oily) skin feeling heavy, greasy, or tacky. I haven't noticed any major changes, but then I never do.
The SubQ still has the highest amount of peptides most probably. Even though they use a more narrow variety of peptides, they are much higher on the ingredients list compared to the other two. The skin1004 has the lowest amount of peptides based on the ingredients list, still a good product though.
I have haven’t tried your new replacements for sub q I use Paula’s Choice new pro collagen peptide is amazing and lives up to the hype as well as synoxin in the morning and my skin looks amazing. Also Better results then niod copper peptides on my skin too
Very comprehensive and thoughtful video, thank you. In one of your videos you spoke of a product that combined Argireline and matrixyl and pointed out that using the two separately was just as good in terms of efficacy even if a bit more inconvenient. My question: if I combine the two, will they be as or nearly as potent as Sub Q? I know Sub Q has more peptides than these two but wondering if I need buy yet another serum!
The Medik8 liquid peptide serum is the only one with the peptides being encapsulated so they actually get into the skin and go to where they need to go . The rest of them unfortunately are hit and miss as it’s ok to apply loads of peptides but if they can’t enter the skin and get to the areas they need to so that they work . Cheaper formulas can’t give this as it’s expensive technology.
@@barbarar5869 and he has very simple routine. Washing, exfoliating, vit c, peptides, retinol, moisturizing cream/sunscreen. No need for tonic, essence, serum etc. Much cheaper.... and indeed he looks amazing.
What happened to Snoxin II? Just a month ago it was your holy grail but no mention of it in this video all about peptides? I'm getting confused, Rob!! lol. 💖

As others have said, the actual concentration of peptides in the Skin1004 serum and probably Korean skincare, in general, is very, very low. The peptides are far down on the ingredients list. How efficacious is the concentration of those peptides? I understand that peptides are the one ingredient that is very expensive and it's hard to formulate an affordable product packed with peptides. Nonetheless, the Skin1004 serum is great, but I can't rely on it to deliver the same things as a $60 peptide serum.
Got the medik8 one for the amount of peptides. I’m looking for one that has even more? If anyone knows of one I’m aware of the Peter Thomas Roth 21 one and tns serum for skin medica. Know anything else?

Great video, but I have a question about using this with a separate vitamin C (L-ascorbic not a derivative) serum because of the copper peptide in the Skin 1004 ampoule and the cancelling out of the copper with the vit C. Would you be able to address that issue? Thank you and keep on producing your great content videos!
Hi Rob! I heard copper peptides are not supposed to be used with vitamin c so as it might make the vitamin c not work. Is this true? Should I then use this maybe sepreartly from other skincare? I also heard I shouldn't use copper peptides with tretinoin so I am trying to figure out where I can fit this peptide serum from Skin 1004. Thank you so much for your help!!
Where do you use a peptide serum in yiur routine rob, I have a exfoliating serum i just use at night and a hydrating ceramide one i use twice a day, then mu moisturiser, where would this slot in?
I wish I’d seen the skin 1004 earlier….,I went to buy my usual good molecule super peptide serum from there uk website and they want £10 postage 😮 The serum was only £12 !! So I did some detective work 😂 if I bought it from the states tax included it’s £9 cheaper…. So on skinskool was recommended this as 2nd choice.. esfolio - Peptide Energy Ampoule - 30ml I think I will give the skin 1004 a try. Sending lots of huge hugs and love ❤️ xxxx
What is the comparison between over the counter skincare products and Medical-Grade Skincare products? I was told not to buy over the counter products because they don’t work as well
@@kristinjohansson9031 I’ve used several over the counter products which promise to remove dark spots but nothing seemed to work I had to go to a dermatologist
