Laziness is part of human nature. Aren't we always looking for comfort and convenience? :-) And on a more serious note, you're awesome for igniting a spark in yourself during a tougher episode :-) But there's really nothing wrong with just laying down sometimes. Cats are close friends of people for a reason. They know and they teach us to relax by their example, because a quality life is never compatible with stress. :-) And if we haven't understood enough yet - the cats come and purr at us :-) Thanks for the spark to my own scattered discipline!
it's 4 a.m. and it's been weeks since i feel stuck in life. I'm currently working on creating a comic, and it upsets me cuz I'm struggling with everything (storyboard, character design, etc). i started to question why i even think of starting this comic, and i thought about quitting. i had a lot of doubts but just like you said, "starting is the hardest", "good things take time" and "it's part of the process". and also the part u said "mental resistance". what u said made sense and I'm glad that im not the only that feels this way I've been feeling so down, this video came at the right time
Naoya, learning a different language from your native tongue to talk life back into others all over the word is such a beautiful thing. You help many people with your words, but above all, please take your own advice. I notice many people who are good at comforting people and giving advice are in lack of comfort and consolidation themselves. I want you to know even when things get hard, there’s a future you past those obstacles waiting to be discovered. Take things at your own pace. Create when you feel like creating. You aren’t bound to anything and you have the right to live and rest as you please. You are a beautiful guy with a beautiful heart, and I’m sending you so much love from across the globe. Take care of yourself
Wow, thank you for this reminder. Some days are just like this. I like how you talk to yourself about it, the awareness and acceptance you have for it. It nudges us to take small steps even when we dont think we can do it on certain days. I'm glad you pushed yourself a little to make this video, it sure did serve a good reminder for me. Thank you again. Have a good day✨. And sir, we always watch the whole video, it's always worth listening to your thoughgs, if not the whole video, then parts of it really does resonate with us.
Thank you for this video. I really like ur advice and i really agree with it too. I will take ur advice and i know i will. I really like advice videos where the person is just genuinely talking and has some notes and stuff to let us know about. I really like the videos where we can just listen to RU-vidrs just talk, without any distractions. It’s just them talking to us and telling us great things. So thank you again, and this is my first video I’ve seen of yours. Please take care!
Currently 6:20 AM in NYC, I'm struggling a lot right now but I feel and understand exactly what you are saying. It resonates with everything going on in my own life as I'm trying to get through my last year of college while also going through a breakup. Recently, I've felt like I have done nothing but go on social media or on my phone for long hours, and I just hate myself more and more as sometimes I am skipping class just to scroll on tiktok. And, like you, I go to the gym and I try to do my best to get active and get my mind off of things, but it's been difficult. But after watching your video, it lifts a lot of weight off my shoulders because I've felt like I had expected a lot from myself even when I'm currently going through such a hard time. I want to love myself more and find peace with my own emotions. Thank you for sharing your experience :)
I'm glad this video was somewhat helpful for you :) Well, I don't know about you at all, but I think I got you. Recently I broke up with my ex. Still can't get her off my mind. When my internal state is a mess, what I do is distract my emotions like you said. 100% of the time, I hate myself for having done it. There's no getting around it, but we can become better as we bring awareness to our emotions and change our actions. I hope I'll hear some good news from you:) Have a nice day.
This video was amazing really ! It's actually this nothingness of not wanting to do anything which sparks great ideas sometimes. The moment to break this mental resistance is the key like you said! Kudos to you for bringing yourself thru, out of that feeling to film this piece of great words for us today! Repeating over is what affirms us the idea that it is okay to feel the nothingness ! Great video !!! ✨️
Thanks for hitting the "record" button, especially since you were having misgivings about making a video at all. If you ever need to take a break, please don't feel bad for doing so. I only have the opportunity to watch maybe 1 out of every 20 of your videos, but of those that I do I always watch to the end. Have a good week.
Yeah, laziness sucks, but it gravitate to it because we're often completely drained from everyday life. Distractions are prety much a temporary escape that ease the pain, so that's why people resort to them often, especially in a world that's struggling overall. Seriously though, talk to me one day. lol I think I emailed you at one point.
It's okay to take a pause sometimes in life. Afterall we are humans, right? We shouldn't push ourselves to do things which aren't in alignment with what makes us happy. That being said, it's okay to hit a wall in our pursuits once in a while. Dw it'll be alight!
- Winston Churchill, sir, to what do you attribute your success in life? - Economy of effort. Never stand up when you can sit down, and never sit down when you can lie down. :-)
Hi, I’m planning to visit Japan for the first time and would love your help in organizing a two-week trip at the end of December. Do you have time to meet up? I’d love to see you! 😊
Hmm, I can't say anything at this moment since I don't know you at all. Can you send me an email? You can find my email address on my profile. Then, maybe we can talk about your trip to Japan!
After an hour and half in the gym, I'll be pretty lazy too, haha. About English, maybe just lie down on the sofa and read an interesting English book or watch an English movie (you can practice your pronunciation by repeating what the actors said) to relax and recharge. But don't scroll shorts or tiktoks - they will make you feel dumb and useless. I'll hit you up in the future, then probably will need someone to check for spelling mistakes when I localize my games to Japanese.
