It’s ok the CHANGE the fluid 3 quarts at a time every oil change don’t just flush it all at once bc that will remove all the clutch material out that help the trans shift properly with old burnt fluid… I did a Tran fluid change 3 quarts replaced with synthetic trans fluid on my 1998 Lexus GS300 an it’s been 4500 miles an I have a oil change coming up and I’m going to change the trans fluid again with the same synthetic trans fluid again when I change my oil with Mobil 1 Ext Perf 20k Mile Oil… Normally I do my oil changes between 3-4k to keep sludge an varnish down an remove it but money has been tight so I’m changing it at 5k miles this time…
@@walidventayen5575 Depends on the type of transmission that’s in it. I’m not as familiar with the CVT’s, so I can’t speak to those, but if it has a regular automatic transmission, you might be okay. How many miles are on the vehicle?
Great Vid. After my trans oil change on my 06 LS430 here's jerks/slips in shifts. I'm planning to use half quart Luka's Transmission Fix however I reckon its too thick to pump into the transmission fill port. Plus no dip stick for transmission oil on these cars. Any tips?
@@shoaibmushtak Have you verified the fluid level? It could also be an ECU issue. The 04-06 suffer from hard shifting when the ECU starts to go bad. There is a guy in Dallas that rebuilds them (Relentless Motorsports TX). I would avoid additives like Lucas.
