I am watching your podcast and knitting the Avery Shawl right now. What a coincidence! It is really easy knit but a lot of picking up stitches.

Thanks for showing me different shawls I had not seen yet. I have knit the Hoarfrost from Andréa Mowry as a gift and with worsted weight yarn it flew off. I liked that the shawl had 2 different stitches sections

I recently knit a shawl from Alina Appasova that is all garter with slipped stitches. She has many beautiful patterns using this technique.

While I haven't knit any on those yet, I really like the look of Irene Lin's Tassy Shawl and Lilac Lace Shawl, Kitman Figueroa's Misaki and Sari Nordlund's Nupullaan Shawl. They're all very different to each other, but every one is in my opinion beautiful in it's own right. I love wearing shawls, but I'm scared to knit them, I'm worried that I'll get bored or tired of making them before I'll finish. The No-purl ribbed wrap really intrigued me! I need to check it out. Oh, an Iaroslava Rud makes insane lace shawl designs. But I think those are family heirloom level of complexity.
