Thanks for the company while I'm "knitworking" this morning and it was such a nice surprise to see the Missing Mojo giveaway! How lovely to get the extra donation for Knitted Knockers ❤ Thanks for the pattern love as well 🧦 Don't work too hard Kelly! And enjoy your time in New York Noelle.
Fall is my favorite! Finally got to wear a knitting sweater this week for the first time. I just love the crisp air, the warm drinks and all the fall colors!
Good to see y'all again this week. We are having a lovely cool morning for a change today(Wednesday) at 8:30am here in Texas. Since fall is my favorite season, I'm really looking forward to it. This fall I'm planning to go back to the Tx Fleece and Fiber Festival at Kerrville. It's was so much fun when I went last year, and my long-suffering husband even found it interesting. After that week, and maybe a few more of motorhome travel days, the rest of my fall days will include good audio books so I can knit, enjoying my yarn, coffee, snuggly blankets and lap dogs in front of a fire. Retirement is quite bearable, lol!
Enjoying your podcast this morning while crocheting worry worms for donation. This fall consists of gift knitting for family. Knitting socks, hats, mittens and an afghan.
Fall is boots, cushy sweaters and pumpkin pie. Crunchy leaves and crisp mornings. It’s my season! Thanks for the great episode and enjoy Rhinebeck - maybe one day I will get there!
Fall is my jam! 🍁🍂 I'm currently knitting headbands for donation and for the warm ears Mal hosted by Darcy of Chit Chat Knits. Thank you for the visit 😊
We always enjoy going to view some of the beautiful foliage in our area. Also really looking forward to going to a pumpkin patch 🎃 LOVE all the projects very inspired!
This is just the best way to watch beautiful people at their best. You two are so friendly and so amazing to be able to advise your viewers about their knitting and answer any questions. Thank you for sharing your wonderful knowledge and experiences, it is always a blast. Go well and take care from New Zealand.
What a pleasure to see you both once again, laughing, smiling. So many plans… Xmas will be here in very short time with such schedules... This fall I would like to start knitting the gifts I intend to give for Xmas. So, many projects to participate in the make along of this quarter 😊
Kelly, i love the colors you chose for your Stripes sweater. I wish i could put together colors like that. Fall has commenced here in Southern Colorado. I am looking forward to knitting a sweater for my grandson.
The Fall colours are in serious change mode now. So beautiful. Sad to have to cut down the flowers as frost makes them sorley sagging. Knitting shawls and socks for winter warmth in the works now. Thanks again for you good knitting company. Love my Flexi needles. You are correct to be nervous about the AWOL potential. I've had 2 disappear into the neather world and not to be found no matter how persistant the search.....
Always a treat knitting with you two! This fall I have two trips coming up…south to AR for cycling, then north to Ottawa valley to visit my parents. Looking forward to both trips! And to knitting mittens with the knit chatters :)
This fall I'm planning on spending time with friends and visiting my sister for a few days. I'm looking forward to seeing the fall colour and lots of knitting.
Fall is my favorite season and I am looking forward to it so much this year. Hopefully, I will be able to compete some of my WIP’s and start a few new projects. Thanks so much for all your great podcasts. ❤
I love Fall. Working on KAL Cardigan and a shawl as gift for my sister. However it is still in the 90’s here in Southern California🌞. Looking forward to attending Sacred Sheep and So Cal Fiber Festival. Thanks for the inspiration from both of you.
Thanks for a great episode. It helped me through some ripping and repairing of a knitting mistake. Enjoy Rhinebeck, I am a little envious of you. Hope to be able to make it some day. Love the mittens. I’m dreaming of what’s in my stash that I could make them out of.
Hi ladies! We are looking forward to seeing you both at Rhinebeck 😊 I’m feverishly working on my second Letho to take next week. Cheers! Tammi, Wool and Wine
Another great chat thanks Lovely Ladies. I always have a few pairs of socks on the needles. Also making a Beloved Bonnet by TinCanKnits for a friends toddler & am about to cast on a Tolsta Tee. Have a wonderful week knitting & look forward to seeing you both again next week here from Australia
Another fun episode with lots of inspiration! Here in Australia we are in spring but in fall or autumn (as we call it), I will always be knitting socks 😀
I plan to knit, knit, knit, and crochet this fall. I have so many things on the needles, and they all take turns. I'm also participating in the Steven West MAL, so that's exciting too!
This fall, I am looking forward to getting 'Yule do' on the needles and hopefully finish for Christmas. Also looking forward to finally getting on the emotional support chicken bandwagon in between craft fairs. Thank you for the lovely visit!
This fall I’m doing another Stephen West MKAL in Holst Garn SuperSoft, and knitting my daughter a Jen Steingass sweater (Darkwater) in Rowan Felted Tweed. Fall is made for knitting all the things, and enjoying the change of season, subtle though it may be in Southern California. 😂
We’re having a wonderful fall here in Alberta and the colours are fabulous- however last night there was a huge wind and now a lot of leaves are on the ground😂 looking forward to lots of sweater, sock and mitten knitting! And I think I’m going to try out the flexi-flips!
I love taking hikes in the fall and taking in the color changes in the trees .. looking forward to fall knitting and want to try the lift me up mittens
Thanks for an other great episode. This fall I’m looking forward to apple crisp and cozying up in my sweaters. I wish I could go to Rhinebeck, but it will be for an other time. Have a nice day!
Fall is my favourite time of year so I’m going to try and clean up some of my wips! Hopefully I can start off the new year with a few things cleaned up!!
I intend to do this for every school break I have, but up until now I haven‘t been very successful. 🙈 And for some of my projects I would only have to weave in the ends. 😅 I‘ve learnt on Saturday that my LYS is offering a garment finishing service, so maybe I should just give up and hand them my almost finished projects over so I can start new ones withouth feeling bad. 😉
Great video. Love the knits and beautiful purchases. I am hoping to complete a sweater and make a warm cardigan as well as a small baby blanket this autumn. 🇬🇧
Hey folks, it's great to see you as usual. Just got back from a week in Philly where I picked up a modest 3 skeins of in-house dyed yarn at Loop for a Savor Shawl by Kavitha Raman. Will probably not get to that project till January though. Working on other shawls and socks as usual:) I"m in the process of choosing a pattern for some self striping yarn, wish me luck. It's always amazing to see all your projects. I hope you have a tremendous time at Rhinebeck!
Hello ladies, you were talking about the crasy trio. If you want to know more about these needles i suggest you watch the podcast of the German Silvie Rasch. She is the inventor of the needles. In her tutorials (in German) she uses them all the time. I used them but didn't like knitting with it, eventually i lost 1 😮. Have fun in Rhinebeck. I am looking forward to an autumn week in Luxembourg.
This fall I'm looking forward to wearing my first two sweaters! It is my first cool season since I got serious about knitting and I have several more knits on the needles and in my queue!
Another fabulous episode! I'm looking forward to my visit to Canada this fall.😊 I've been travelling since August and so far been cycling in Croatia, sailing in the North Sea, cycling in Portugal, sightseeing in Spain and visiting family and friends in the UK. Canada is on my way home to NZ and I'll get to visit my son who I've not seen for over 4 years! So looking forward to giving him a hug ❤
Have so much Rhinebeck fomo 😕currently healing from a total knee replacement so don’t think I could do all the walking so decided not this year. I met you both last year has I was heading out for my bus, it was the highlight of my day!! This fall I’m hoping to complete 3 cardigans 2 for me (ha!) and one for my new grandson who has already out grown the 1st one I knit him. Have fun in NY!!!!
This fall I am working on my first Papillon shawl and I am loving it. I am using GSR instead of the wrap and turn technique. Such fun and I would love the fingerless mitt pattern as a palette cleanser.
Enjoy Rhinebeck! I hope to visit some day. Full speed ahead this fall on some winter knits. Also heading to Japan at the end of November and am looking forward to exploring some yarn shops.
My fall plans are to finish a couple of stuffiness for gift giving, work on a shawl, and very soon start a Tulip sweater with Nutiden and a suri/silk lace. 😍🩷
Thank you Kelly and Noelle for a lovely knit chat. I love the Classic raglan by Jesse Maede designs, I remember when you first knit that Kelly. This Fall will be a busy one, I am making time for meet ups with friends, taking a few day trips (Stratford + Paris, Ontario) and doing a trip with some friends to Buffalo to do silly stuff. Additionally, I am taking a Spinning class with the Kitchener-Waterloo Weavers and Spinners and its been very fun so far. In addition to those fun things I am thinking about getting back into running again. As for knitting, I will be finishing up song long standing WIPs and doing some holiday knits for my sister (a hot water bottle cover) and my niece (a wee chicken) and some trigger mittens for my uncle.
@@KnitsnPieces Oh yes it is busy season for me. What distances did you like when you ran before? For myself it was the shorter distances 5-10km. I have a long road ahead before I get back to those distances.
Hi Ladies. Great podcast! Thanks so much. I’m looking forward to knitting with my hand spun. Im wanting to knit the Traveler shawl and the Framed sweater. Both by Andrea Mowry
I just finished a sweater , just days ago actually, but after knit a new designer deadline. Good news, I did finish it just in time before work picked up or I would have been woefully staring at it thinking , I was so close . My plans this autumn is to make another sweater before year end , it will still be cold for sometime after that . First I need to scan through all the things I've seen during the knit cafes , it helps seeing them on someone , how the garment moves , fits. Next find another pattern, then the dive through a small stash of yarn (as far as my husband knows) and see what fits the design and weight.
I'm just planning on lots of canning, knitting, and sewing for fall. Right now I'm trying to finish WIPs but I've accidentally cast on 4 or 5 new things too.
About turning socks inside out for Finchley: are you trying to put the needles through the sock tube? I always push the leg portion through the toe and voila! … no problem
I have been knitting lots of hats. For the Fall I plan on knitting a cardigan for one of my boys. The wool has been waiting to get cast on for far too long. Also I want to knit mittens.
This Fall I am planning to knit sweaters. Lots of them. We've moved to a colder climate and I will have so much use for them, Love the Lift me up mittens. I think I need those as well. And as always, I will be knitting for family. Love your podcast.
This Fall am "Kidnapping" a granddaughter, traveling to another daughter's' house. We are then going to a college tour, experiencing an escape room, attending a JV Football game, playing games with grandchildren and spending time together. Then the next week, going to a Quilt Retreat near Glacier National Park.
I am finishing a pair of socks for my husband and then I can start spinning some of the two kilos of British breeds roving that I brought home from the UK!
Thanks for the lovely night ladies! ❤ I‘m planning to knit some more fingerless mittens for wearing them at my choir practices in church (it‘s about 14 degrees Celius in winter) so I would love to knit the Lift Me Up Mittens from Manon Drolet. My autumn holidays have started this week and as always during my holidays I enjoy the plus on knitting time every day. And I‘m looking forward to next week as I‘m going to visit a really big yarn store (Jakobs Wolle) close to Bern, Switzerland. My mother-in-law is taking me there and I‘m really excited about it. I probably have to give myself a budget for that! 😂
This fall I will spend more quality time doing things I love. Spending time with family and relaxing more with my knitting hobby. I love your new MAL. Now to think of someone that is knit worthy and what I should make for them.
