I remember my trips to Daves house in Solihull as a teenager, and one magical day, after waiting ALL DAY.....the gardener took pity on me and gave me a cup of tea on the patio..it was 7pm, I'd been there since about 10am with no food or drink...I was just about to leave....and Dave came around the corner..it was truly a EUPHORIC moment in my life..Dave was an absolute gentleman...we talked for about 20 minutes, he found a photo of himself wcich he signed, I still have it now.....THANK YOU DAVE..

what is wonderful in this life, never end up. Slade is Always in the heart of all brasilian, because we listen to this band all long time. All the musics are brilliant, perfect and sweet to sing.
I remember seeing Slade at the Melbourne show ground in Australia, it was stinking hot and raining, we were covered in mud and Noddy didn’t give a shit that we were getting up on the stage and dancing. The show grounds were packed, another band of my youth. Slade Alive.....what a group......Australia loved them.
Their music was so fun and carefree. It made you wanna get up and move !! I was too young to experience in when it happened but I see now how huge they were and why.
I really liked the Flame movie because it wasn't silly like The Beatles or The Monkees. I'm really disappointed they didn't really make it here in America, until much later. Led Zeppelin did, but, I never really found much "fun" to that band. Still never understood that Magical Mystery Tour movie. Was Flame about The Animals?
It occurs that their main sound was noise and screaming whereas the song how does it feel was as good as a great Beatles song. Maybe Slade could have had deeper and more sophisticated compositions. How doors it feel really is a great song.

I accidentally squashed Dave Hill behind the door as I entered a guitar shop in Central London. I apologised, realised who he was and had a lovely chat for a few minutes. A very nice guy.
