@larslindgren3846
@larslindgren3846 25 дней назад
@@ClintLock1 I don't require that much strength, you only need to do it in an environment with low enough effective gravitational acceleration. On an astroid anybody would be strong enough. I think it would be tricky to do it in a parabolic flight due to the short time with reduced gravity but maybe not impossible.

I reckon you could build a version of this replacing the plastic bows with army men or those little parachute dudes. But that raises an interesting question about the amount of force required to keep the string taught enough to keep the tower upright. If you really did something like this with people, would they all have to pull the rope taught with the same amount of force? Would the one on the bottom have to work harder? The one on the top? I can't seem to get my head around it.

Physics IS what is keeping the structure up. Imagine if these were simply bows (bow & arrow) stacked on top of one another. The stored energy of one bow can easily support the weight of multiple bows above it (considering how light the average bow is). What this structure does is simply overlap the bows. The idea is still the same. Thanks Steve❣️

I wonder if it could be used in constructing a space elevator. Maybe the idea could be used in cable construction all the way up to space. I've heard of another idea of tethering one end of the space elevator cable to bedrock and at the other end of the cable out in space, the cyntriphical force of the earth would pull on the cable tight.
