Ironically, by fighting climate change action they are very likely to be contributing to this out-of-control weather. They, not the Democrats, are at least morally responsible for some of the conditions that have led to these two severe hurricanes. 100 of them also voted against additional funds for FEMA just days before Helene was borne. It could be more, or could be less. It depends on the shape of the land. If the land slopes evenly, then every sq foot of land lost to the ocean is slightly less than a sq foot of land that is closer to the ocean on peninsulas, and slightly more than a sq foot of land that is closer to the ocean by the inlets and bays. It's not that simple of course, but if the oceans were rising but there were no other changes, then it would be approximately no change to how much land is close to the ocean.

Also the problem was fixed and most hairsprays don't use the chemicals anymore, they're fine to use. The o-zone was repaired by one of the largest and most successful displays of global coordination and communication in human history. Project 2025 seeks to abolish NOAA (of which the National Weather Service is a part) and the Department of Education and replace them with commercialised or state-run departments. We cannot afford for this to happen. We need to make sure we're all registered to vote, and we need to show up and vote blue in November 🩵🇺🇸

Only country where people do not feel nor complain about climate change and consequences is Russia. Even China do recognise that changes are reality but they are desperate to hide fact that their rigid and corrupt political system is unable to respond. Euro zone do have strength and efficiency learned trough NATO and democratic system, that is way Russia needs badly to dissolve NATO.

Here in hawaii. We have a coastal crisis. North shore houses are collapsing due to erosion. And down at kualoa you can see the palm trees falling over because the shoreline is eroding. As for that eighth inch rise. I think that it is a predicted average. No telling how much rise youll have incrementally. Im on the side of less beach front property. A decline in ocean levels means more beach front. But if trump says it, its probably the opposite
