Funny I'm in my 30s now and just learned it and agree ur comment was directly under mine where I full admit I'll prob still use the term wife beater since honestly usually the only time I use it is when doing my husband's laundry and noticing he needs some new ones. Like a lot of guys he wears one like we do bras

You don't have ordinary coffees in them. You have the home version of a large, or venti, cappuccino or hot chocolate in them, because you don't want to go places, & when we do again, it'll be bring your own mug & wash it at home.

I'm embarrassed to say I didn't start learning about and subsequently eliminating ableist language until I joined Twitter during quarantine. There are some amazing advocates for persons with disabilities on there who have taught me so much. I'm like Amber..I'm trying, I'm growing.

That style of hat is actually a Trilby. If the brim is narrow like that, it's not a fedora. They're similar, but fedoras have wider brims, like what Indiana Jones and Freddy Krueger wore.

I used to work in a rather large department and there was a trend to says 'muchos' for thank you, I know who started it. So, when it came around in emails and people from other regions, it grated on me. I didn't know if I hated that more than 'Ta' (this was a British office) either way, I had the same urge to go for your face like a wild cat. Just say THANK YOU.
