I recently purchased these Celestron 20x80 Pro porro binoculars for watching the night sky. I wouldn't have room for a telescope. Hard to get clear skies lately, but the Moon looks cool.

Thank you so much! I'm curious about stargazing but not enough to get a telescope yet. Having to ditch passions after investing a lot in them hurt in the past.

These Celestron Skymasters are great for the moon and observing the cosmos. Detailed planetary views will require an actual telescope. Cheers!

Ohh that's a cool Schmidt-Cassegrain! I got an 8-inch solar filter sheet for that exact reason. Planning on cutting two pieces out of it and making two 3D-printed solar filter caps like that. Have fun with the Sun!

i had a Soviet binocular, it was heavy within aluminum frame and same size, when i was gazing at the moon i had clear vision of craters and mountain like surface. this binocular is cheap and made by plastic.
