It's Time To End Your Relationship [When Do You Know?]

Not all relationships are meant to be, so it's important to know when it's time to end your relationship before you waste more time. Not all two persons are compatible. There might be some aspects that brought you two together, but that doesn't mean that just because there is some commonality or enjoyment that you two are necessary the best couple to share your lives with forever.
It's not uncommon for couples to have aspects they really appreciate or love about the other person, but there are also aspects that weigh really heavy on the individual (s) in the relationship that bring their mood down, and self-worth, and create a toxic environment to be in.
It's important to know when it's time to end your relationship, because so many people choose to stay in their current situation for many reasons. And when it comes down to it, that person or both people in the relationship end up feeling absolutely miserable and sad, and unfulfilled.
Here are some signs on how to know when it's time to end your relationship:
1. You are feeling unhappy more than you feel happy
2. You know there are issues, and either you or your partner aren't willing to change.
3. You don't feel loved or appreciated often
4. You don't like who you are when you're around your partner.
5. You love your partner, but you don't like them
It's so important be honest with yourself. Your happiness is number one. And there comes to a point where your partner is not willing or able to contribute to your happiness. And not just that, your partner contributes to your sadness and other negative feeling more than positive. And when that happens, you need to decide what you're going to do about that. The worst thing you can do is stay in a relationship where you are more sad than you are happy. Or you stay to stay in your relationship because you're afraid of the unknown.

When he’s made me sad, which is all the time, I can see that he’s disgusted by me. I can see that he feels like “Oh god she’s upset again.” I used to apologize for him upsetting me. That’s how sick I am. Now I don’t anymore. Now nobody does. He lost all respect for me. I did it to stop him from continuing to be mean to me, but it didn’t work. He now has zero respect for me. And now I resent him. We are just constantly fighting and he picks on me all the time. I need to get out and if I had enough money I’d have been gone a long time ago. I lay in bed all day every day depressed and wishing I were dead

This is not easy for me to write, but my fiance and I will be together 5 yrs this July. We've both been married twice before. This relationship has been a huge struggle almost from the beginning, for over 2 years, her family didn't want me around at all. Not that I'm a bad person, as I served my country for nearly 13 yrs before she and I got back together. She and I had dated for a short time in high school. We went our separate ways and I went into the army. But what I am really struggling with now, she was married to her 2nd exhusband for 14 years, she refuses to put him out of her life, he calls her numerous times a day for no reason at all. And up until a little over a year ago, she even still was living with him, now, she's supposed to be living with me, but more often than not, she's spending the night for days/weeks on end at his place because it's convenient due to our differences in work schedules. I've told her time and time again that this has to stop and that if she truly wants this to work, she has to put him completely out of her life, but she refuses to do so. Yes I realize she has one child with him and that her older son has only ever known him as dad, but she cannot continue doing this. I've pretty much given up everything to be with her. I gave up my hobby of flying rc planes and helicopters, I have absolutely no friends, I don't go anywhere or do anything at all. I go to work and I come home every day. I provide everything for her. Yes she has a job as a secretary at a dentist office, but that basically pays her car payment, which by the way, I cosigned and got for her. After losing my mom a year ago last November, yes she and her family were there for me during this very difficult time in my life. Yes I know that I'm not a very talkative person, never have been. I just don't know what to do anymore, yes I love her with all my heart, but I can't keep this up anymore.

Thank you so much for this video. I've only found it now. My husband and I have most of these signs, it's so obvious that we'd probably be better off apart. The problem is that we are from two different countries and we have an eight year old boy together. If we divorce, I would want to go back home and my child would go with me, which means very limited contact with his dad, maybe twice a year. I don't fancy that. My child is very happy where we are now, he loves his school and not sure how he would be in my country as he doesn't speak the language very well. But our marriage is loveless with no intimacy. I've been trying and wanting to make it work, but my husband has no interest in it, he says he's fed up as it's been too hard. So I'm only persisting because of the child. This video really opened my eyes a lot, what if your partner, was not showing much interest in you. Would that be a sign, for you to end the relationship. Because my ex-boyfriend, was constantly, trying to make me jealous of other women, constantly changing his mind about being with me. And telling other women that he was still single, this was going on the whole time that we were together. I do believe that is called cheating, Every time it was about me, it was always about sex. He wanted me to do birth control and home pregnancy test. So in the end, I ended the relationship all together. Do you think am doing the right thing, by not being with this guy.
