Yeah, at my LGS the judge there says before every tournament "I am here to help the game run smoothly and fairly, do not be afraid to call me at any time I am needed"
@@Exisist5151 its not like youre short on time in master duel. you can read every card in your opponents main and extra deck and still got enough for a full dragon link combo with that turn timer.
@@uteriel282 I thought the original post was talking about people asking how the damage was doubled in the comment section, I don’t think the guy had a response in game so it didn’t matter either way from that perspective.
Just watching through cuz these are fun and i know its like 4 months too late, but seeing Dawnstar call a judge when he hasnt even started playing because he knows he will need one is absolutely hilarious
I learned 90% of how cards work and interact with one another from this channel alone and not only that but he makes it very entertaining to watch. Honestly one of the best yugitubers of all time.
Sometimes i wonder how much of my life has been spent watching opponents trying to out the iblee by crashing into bale while sanctuary is on the field on coders stream :)
to be fair there's just like 15+ cards on his field for you to read and not mention if there were lingering effects perhaps in the graveyard in hand or from a good ol if this card was used as a blank material then the monster you made is blank simply did not read
I was playing against @ignister yesterday while using my plunder patroll. I get hit with the full shabang ending with the arrival the field spell and one face down. My hand was two plunder cards, compulse, lightning storm, and the dark kaiju Radian. I draw into the thunder kaiju... I start off by giving him Radian and he scoops lol. I know that man was heated
Yo Coder, can you make a video explaining about how special summoning extra deck monsters from GY when they have been sent to it from the extra deck is an illegal summon because they weren't special summoned properly first? I'm trying to find some clarification on that. Some ED cards have the "must first me fusion/synchro/xyz/link summoned" but others don't, so it makes it a bit confusing. Example: sending Albion the Branded Dragon with the effect of Mirrorjade and then trying to revive it with Branded Banishment
@@TheIbney00 exactly. Cards that specify, must be fusion/link etc summoned cannot be special summoned other ways, like they go to gy and then u try to monster reborn, u just cant
Cards that say “must first be *insert summon*” require you to conduct that summon properly at first to then be able to summon them from anywhere else again after that When a card says “must be *insert summon*” then no matter what it has to be summoned by via its method of summon, even if summoned properly you wouldn’t be able to summon it back from the gy or anywhere else besides fulfilling its condition. Certain cards apply for ignoring summoning conditions as stated in the card, that also applies to the above entry on summoning conditions. Now as for the general rule of extra deck summoning being proper, it is a general rule for fusion, synchro, xyz, and link monsters, even rituals to an extent to follow this. If you sent an “albion the branded dragon” off of Mirrorjade for its effect, you cannot summon back that albion from the gy because you never fusion summoned that specific copy. Same could be applied to any scenario of improper summoned cards, this also applies if that summon was negated. You wouldn’t be able to revive said negated monster due to its summon never being proper and successful Hope this clears things up
This is so unfair, whenever I combo off like that against the Maxx c they just draw droplet x3, Kaiju x3, lightning storm x3 etc etc lmfao Edit forgot nibiru, how could I forget Crazy board tho
Of the cards you listed, only Droplet helps once the Iblee is set up. Lightning Storm can only activate while no cards are on your field, and Iblee prevents you from Special summoning Kaijus or Nib. I don’t know how early in the combo you can summon Iblee.
Assuming the player has the materials needed to fuse, then yes, the effect of albion will resolve even if it is compulsed since compulse does not negate the effect
Hey I have a ruling question for if you ever do your viewer ruling questions videos again. If my opp has zombie world up and I special summon transcode talker, assuming all the monsters I specialed that turn would be cyberse if zombie world wasn’t up, can I use trans code talkers effect?
No, because you don't have a valid target. Transcode's effect specifically targets a link-3 or lower Cyberse-type Link, but with Zombie World on the field there are no Cyberse types in the GY
Calling a judge is not sharking. You are basically calling a referee. Sports have "judges" a.k.a referees permanently present. Maybe its a scuffed take, but its mine. I agree with coder.
