I’ve had as much patience and support of Neal as anyone the last 6 years, but that press conference seals it. Have to imagine many others feel the same way! Time for a change in Morgantown
Yeah, same. The "Did they have fun? I assume they had fun tailgating..." comment absolutely reeks of being happy with mediocrity. Hell, we could all just head to the blue lot, tailgate, have a blast and go home without ever stepping foot into the stadium and without spending hundreds and thousands of dollars on season tickets and concessions. If the experience of game day and tailgating is all that matters, why suffer the on-field train wreck every week? I'm not sure that the university would like that but it's completely possible.
Great question!!!! Seriously keep them up!!! Wvu fans need to know that home games are nothing more than entertaining fund raisers for the university. Stop going yall, stop watching. Unfortunately it's really the only way the university will notice fans are upset.
Brown clearly is not a believer in the great Vince Lombardi's philosophy about winning. WVU needs a head football coach who understands that philosophy and employs it. Winning isn't everything; it is the only thing.
3-16 vs ranked teams. Those 3 wins against ranked teams were Kansas State in 2020, Va Tech and Iowa St in 2021. All 3 teams finished their seasons unranked and I believe K State lost out after we beat them.
We are waaaay too far into the season to be making these stupid mistakes. These should have been eliminated against Penn St. Wvu is a very poorly coached team on both sides of the ball and without a total coaching staff change it will not get better. 6 years is enough time to tell we need a change
@@TheYates27 That's the thing. I freaking applaud that young man and I can't imagine what he's going through, I know he has to be devastated plus, he's injured on top of that. I feel bad for him, he should have never been put in that spot. As parents and coaches and just adults in general, we have to put our young people in a position where they can succeed; that is so important in their development. That simply did not happen for Brandon. He was thrust into a no-win position by someone that should have had his best interest in mind.
@@markhalstead2386 fair enough to Yates. as far as Brown goes, this is year 6....why dont we have a natural center, who is comfortable with the position? rhetorical question.
"It's time to talk about Neal Brown's press conference...." I sat through your 7 plus minute video. Not once did you address the title. WTF, do better man, I had to watch another youtuber to get a hot take on YOUR title.
While coaching is certainly a piece of the equation, lots of "little" mistakes usually equates to a team that primarily puts 2/3 star talent on the field. Can WVU really draw 4/5 star talent? Our history says no.
Still wondering why Rocco, the ISU QB and son of WVU HOF'er, was NOT recruited by WVU when he wanted to play for us, as commented on national TV during game.
Is college football going the way of the NFL? Brown's " small school " football mentality is the problem. We need a taskmaster that demands excellence , like Saban , and I don't think Brown " puts the hammer down " like he should.
No one will miss you especially considering you sound retarded. Losing to top ten teams only and you wanna bitch and moan like we lost to Boston College and uconn not national title contenders. Jesus you and everyone that hit like is what's wrong with wvu anyways so don't let the door hit you in the ass
By my count NB has 4 ranked wins. #24/#16 Kstate 2019 & 2020 #15VaTech 2021 #22Iowa St 2021 It really doesn't matter but Im just curious where everyone is getting this 3-17 stat against ranked opponents. Correct me if im wrong
You’re right!! We won at #24 KSU in November 2019. I think a lot of fans forget this was Brown’s first season and the Wildcats were barely ranked. So his record would be 4-17 against ranked opponents. To not have beaten a ranked team in three seasons is very sad and unacceptable
I think about this all the time. Striving to possibly win in the 4th quarter by inches seems like an odd goal. We used to run over teams with our high powered offense. Now our coach just wants to win close games with a mediocre offense that doesn't even play to strengths of it's QB. He neuters an offense for the sake of analytics
We will never draw 4 and 5 star talent obviously. 2s and 3s need to be coached up to that level. With good coaching it happens regularly. Our coaches are not good. Period.
I know all you haters and you guys wanna talk about Neil Brown’s coaching skills let’s spread the wealth a little bit. Garrett Green sucked in that game two pics resulted in 14 points. He had amazing opportunities to tuck the ball and run for 30 yards. He chose to throw it. OK Garrett Green is an athlete playing quarterback, not a quarterback with athletic ability. Let’s not get that twisted. Yes there are coaching issues. Jordan Leslie is absolutely horrible … if you armchair quarterbacks, can’t see that maybe you should go watch another sport
Was the 11 terrible snaps by the center that resulted in bad plays Greene’s fault as well? Seems to me that would be on the coach for not noticing the obvious problem and replacing it. Maybe if things like that would’ve been corrected earlier in the game Greene wouldn’t have thrown the ball as much, ever think of that.
@@BJtheMountaineerguywhat's sad is they knew his hand had an issue before the game. Gotta go with the backup. Not playing Nicco to get a spark was just plain stubborness.
It would be nice is some logic and reason was used by mountaineer fans but that wasnt the case with 9 wins so losing to national title contenders wont either
😂😂😂. It took him saying this to turn against him?? You people couldn’t evaluate talent if you were sitting ringside at strip bar and had an hour long conversation afterwards. 😂😂😂😂
Traveled 979 miles to watch a fundamentally poor performance. Bad snaps, bad coverage, bad defensive, offensive play calling (ongoing). While I like GG's competitive spirit. Nico is more talented and taller. Greene just can't see his targets. Plain and simple.
