Not beard related but just wanted to say, a couple years ago Eric mentioned that the mullet was coming back and everyone gave him mad crap for even suggesting it. Fast forward to today and when I go out I see dudes my age and younger rocking mullets quite a bit and even the salon guy channel recently did a cut that was a modern take on a mullet. I think Eric hit the nail square on the head.
Eric, thanks for the light-hearted videos. Such a welcome distraction from Covid 19 and all the political garbage going on right now. Also great job on the formulation of 4 Vices and Old Money beard oil...love them both
Love your videos, first time trying growing something during quarantine. Have always wanted to rock a stache. You channel has helped so much! Love the smell of old money mustache wax and the comb is fantastic! Currently rocking a Van Dyke with stubble and a big stache. Kind of loose handle bars like you suggested. A little cumbersome but worth the looks 😂
I've come full-mustache-circle. After about 1.5 years of not trimming it at all, the middle section was even with my chin if I pulled it straight down. Needless to say, I kept it "combed" off the sides, "parted" in the middle, with upturned tails. I felt it looked cool enough... But, I couldn't take that much hair anymore. So, I've been doing a basically trimmed to the lip 'stache the past year myself. It's definitely not as "impressive" as the behemoth I used to have. (A good 'stache is 10x the "man card punch" that a good beard is, IMO.) But, at least I can eat, drink, and blow my nose without wearing it now.
For me I think the Impressive one is worth all this shit is gives me. Completely changes your look right? Foods such as yogurts, ice cream and mayonnaise give me grief with it but if you can borderline not give a shot about the appearance and keep it washed, clean and neat then who cares I guess.
Good content, I have question to you Eric, Do you miss your old pictures with long beard and huge mustache or you just like the way you are ?! cuz I shave it once and regret it, thank you and god bless!
@@BeardbrandAlliancebrotha do u recommend shaving my peach fuzz mustache it grows a bit then stops it’s light, it’s been the same for 4 years I am almost 19 now so should I keep shaving to get it to come back thick and dark cause it worked on my beard I shaved for 2 years??
Cheers Eric. Here's something for you. I grew my first real beard at age 36 after watching some of your videos in January 2018. I'm a dark blonde Scottish-German hybrid and as hairy as Elijah Wood. However, six months later I had developed a badass beard. I would have never imagined that I could grow such a sexy beard and right now I'm growing out my mustache to find its terminal length. From the look my beard is somewhat like the DiCaprio and Hardy compartment, but my mustache may start to slightly challenge Greg around Christmas time. Thanks for this experience so far, I only tried the beard thing after getting confidence from videos where you said it has to grow wild and free for at least three months to become something. It's also most awesome that you created this new channel. I definitely prefer this personal stuff over the barbershop videos. By the way, I'm not using stuff to keep it in shape. Somehow the beard does the job by itself after combing. On special occasions I'd use some wax, though.
I'm growing a beard out for the second time since I had a beardstache. My mustache is now I a really awkward stage. It's a little long for a walrus but too short for a handlebar🙈
Im rocking stache cut above lip. After half year with a longer stache. I WAS FED UP with eating etc. And hair just getting in the way. Willl do another day
I’m growing a handle bar. Not cut the stache since March. Problem is one side is growing longer than the other don’t want to cut yet. Need to get the length. Beard is full. Very frustrating. Should I trim ends to stimulate growth or keep growing?
I recently started growing out my mustache about a month ago and i love it but its hard to drink coffee at this point and eat certain foods so im thinking about starting to use mustache wax to handlebar and keep it out of my mouth I have a full beard too looking forward to growing it longer all i do to my mustache is comb it with a kent comb after applying oil and it keeps my mustache out of my mouth a little. Great video thanks!
I wish you could introduce beard brand products in India', shipping price for a product from the us costs a lot more than the actual price of the item. :(
I’ve consistently worn a mustache for 5 years now and keep it above my lip, but without fail I find myself chewing on it or messing with the individual hairs with my tongue. I hate it. I’ve heard some wax helps break that habit but I was curious if anyone else had the same problem and some wax (or something else) would break that habit.
I'm not an expert or something but you will have the same hair follicles you're entire life but it will take time until everything matures. Maybe it will happen in you're 20's or maybe in you're 40's who knows! But compared to me you are very lucky and i am 26. :-)
Bottom or top of the top lip? Is it like radio-speak? Top of hour vs. bottom of hour? 😂 I always get those confused. Anyway, where the top lip touches bottom lip. Is that the top of the top lip? I don’t mean to be pedantic, but there should be some clarity here. I consider, where the lips touch, the top lip’s bottom to be like the bottom lip’s top. Top lip touch point is bottom, and bottom lip touch point is it’s top. No?
You are daring in that you try it all. Learn much from you. Your hair looks like the feds raided your barbershop before your barber could finish. Ya, I have a sweeping handlebar and it is a pain during meals, but it's worth it. You look best with one....
4 time I grow a beard and I think that I need wax because the hairs of my mustache are crazy xd, I have like 9 hairs that grow straight up like a handlebar
hey eric nice to get some tips about mustache, i have been growing mine for 3month and it is long enough to go in my mouth when i am eating, is it too soon to trim it, i mean should i let it grow 3 more before trimming it ??? i would love it to be more full looking like yours :,) hope you will give me a few tips
I just started picking up beardbrand products after trying a multitude of other brands... I'm loving it all so far. I have the beard softener, mustache wax, and styling cream. I am picking up sea salt spray next!
I’m 20 and I’ve been growing my moustache for the 2nd time. Been growing it out for 9 months which will become 10 tomorrow of the start of August! So weird and interesting how my moustache grows a lot slower than my beard.
