Here's my first 850L video. Thanks Brandt tractor and coastal mountain excavation for getting me inside one of these... More 850L videos coming soon to the channel.
We are currently building two 10’ Rootplows for 850L’s here at Hebbronville Machine Shop, Great machines , Cat can’t touch Deere when it comes to rootplowing , the vail ripper bar is superior to Cat in every way.
I hope it is. The two 700 deeres I had for awhile were the most pitiful damn excuse for a dozer. Halfass for pushing out ten wheeler loads all day and maybe GPS and a cvs parking lot but anything else they just wouldn't do it. Jus driving it blade up on any amount of steep hill it would kill both of them, I used to have watch them when raking w them to not run them hot. Could put a blade on a 4020 deere 2wd farm tractor from the 60s and it do more. D6k ain't but half blade ahead. Any dozer in that size range better get a px 51 or 61. The 51 like 6 or 8k lighter than the deere 700 I had at time w 8000 hr when deere had 4000 and the komatsue would push the deere backwards. If it was mine outright I would of smashed it flat w the komatsu, it would of done it w twice the hrs. The 700 deeres are fine as long as you don't have to make them go up a hill or roll dirt very much, the older 850s I've ran were stout, very stout. Hoping the new ones still are
That’s too bad. You must have gotten the 2 that were junk. I’ve had a 700H, 700J, and have 2 700K’s at present. All have been really strong tractors. Granted, they’re not big, but for the size they push hard. Only wish we could get a semi U blade for them instead of six way. Just did a job where I sent 90 semi loads of clay weighing 21 tons each to one 700. He could knock down the piles and spread them faster than I could load the trucks. In fact, he would quit and run an 850K and push dirt to the hoe for a while. Letting the trucks pile up maybe 10 loads then go back and run some more. Had good success with trees and hard pushing too. Sorry your experience wasn’t as good.
@@jeremymeyer8800 maybe they were, I know alot of ppl love their 700 dozers but both of the ones we had were not very impressive but I have been on an older 650 and a few diff 850s that were damn good dozers. I don't understand one of their most popular if not the most popular dozer from deere being that way
Man listen when it comes to dozer John Deere is at the bottom when it comes to all complete power no matter what size dozer Caterpillar , Liebherr and Komatsu are on a different level than John Deere don’t get me wrong John Deere has good power but when it comes to those 3 companies they have Great power the job will be done faster and more complete with Cat , Liebherr, Komatsu
