0:49- He said that fans pushed the ball into the cather’s glove with their cheers even tho the pitch was not the best. What a movie way to answer lol I love it
Remember this guy wanted to be with the Cubs. So much so that he even took less money just to be here. And when you add the fact that he actually spent quite a bit of time in the city immersing himself to the culture before he even signed, that lets you know that there’s absolutely no doubt that he’s a true blue Cubbie. I’ll take him anytime over a guy who’s just looking for a payday bc I know he shares the same passion just as us fans do. That means a hellava lot! Fly the W!!!
From the moment he had his press conference, Shota has expressed his desire and passion to be the best pitcher he can be! He seems to be very poised and focused on excellence!
this might end of being the real dark horse acquisition during the offseason. While everyone was week to week in the beli drama and everyone looking at the moves LA was making so glad to see Cubbies land Shota. With Steele missing a handful of starts, will be an opportunity for another starter eat a good amount of innings, keep the pen fresh and get some outs. Welcome to Chicago Shota
This is like a famous PHD reveals how his study and research has reached an achievement in depth after 10 yrs... Imanaga ShoWtaIME is ON even in his interview
Nice to get a win today and under game conditions. Didn't want to drop a game to this dog team. Anyone notice how much of late we dodged the bullet with most of the players unloaded July 2021? If we paid all those former All-stars we be 10 yrs digging out of that hole. Things look bright
Yeah, my sister cried when they unloaded those Cubs July of 2021. She feels much better now.looks like management got it right. Also in waiting out Boris on Belinger
if the wind wasn't blowing in today he would have given 3 home runs. He pitched well but lets be realistic Luv the K's but a fly ball pitcher in Wrigley has never played well.
