unfortunately I lost my hair due to medication and people made fun of me so now I wear a wig basically and this product is going to save me time and money and maybe even my life thank you so much for showing me how to use this I really appreciate it this is much better than those tapes
Hi, Patti. Speaking of prosthetics, I wear a prosthesis on my left leg and I was using It Stays years ago. I had forgotten all about it when I first tried wigs a couple of months ago. I bought a bottle a couple weeks ago but haven’t used it yet. My problem is my wigs slipping towards the back. The caps won’t stay on, the bands don’t stay on....nothing works. But aha....I think It Stays is the answer! Thanks for the video- I love watching your videos because you are not only knowledgeable but so upbeat! And I’ll bet you would be fun on a night out with the girls! 😁

It stays is the best. Have used it ever since Patti first recommended it. Just tons of uses but it really does work amazingly for wigs. I use a cool washcloth to wash it off my hairline and hair after. No problem at all.
Thanks, Patti. I have an average head in circumference and from front to back, but from ear to ear, I’m a little larger. Plus I wear glasses. This trick helps me keep those temples where I want them. I was not wanting to sew in combs. This works!
I used It Stays to hold up my compression stockings for years until recently I started wearing compression socks that were cheaper. I was surprised to see another use for the product, because it does work. What is amazing is the price being charged for it. It is half the price at the compression stocking website and free shipping.

I use It Stays as well and a wig grip. I find that my lace does not lay as flat as it should. Maybe I will try without the grip and just use a cap, not sure. First of all... I LOVE these video's of Patti's!! Thank you soooo much!! Ive since gotten a couple of wigs and LOVE having my hair back again! I also use the It Stays because of Patti's suggestions and man shes NOT kidding!! My hair stays in place ALL day!! I TOTALLY love this stuff!! But I do have a question... Will natural hair grow under the wigs as we move forward?? Im very concerned that wearing a wig every day will ruin what little hair I have left.. Does anyone know the answer to this? I cant find answers for white women and was curious if anyone knew or if anyone has grown out their hair while wearing a wig?? What's the best practice?? I dont normally wear a cap because A) I dont need to lol, my hair is short enough and B) because the dumb thing refuses to stay on my head...
Hi Meichelle! It's hard to find an answer to this and it's because everyone's body is different and reacts differently. The most important thing is that you still take care of your bio hair (shampoo and condition regularly). We also suggest that when you take your wig off you should brush your hair really well and then massage your scalp all over for about 5 minutes. This stimulates the blood flow which is healthy for your hair. Also, be sure to always take your wig off at night. Never sleep in it. Best Wishes!
@@Wigsbypattispearls Oh thank you sooo much for replying!! I have a thyroid condition that is wrecking havoc on my hair, skin and nails.. I LOVE wearing a wig and its made me feel beautiful again! Im only concerned that my real hair (which is super short and dry) will suffer from using the it stays.. Maybe Im wearing too much of it?? I tend to put it all over my head because Im paranoid my wig will fly off in the middle of my work day! I also have one other question.. The wig I wear is a longer sort.. Is there a way to help make the ends of it feel smooth and soft again? Ive tried steaming it and washing it in fabric softener but nothing seems to help the course feeling it has by the end of the day. I do put the synthetic spray in it every night after I take it off to get out the tangles but nothing seems to help it from feeling so course.. Any suggestions?? Thanks you sooooo much!!!! I use It Stays confidently to attach the front of my wig. Unless it's very hot outside the wig stays put with no additional problems. When it's hot out, and I begin to sweat, the It Stays no longer holds the wig in place. I have not had any luck using It Stays on the nape but I still have most of my hair in the back and it's difficult to get enough on with the hair in the way.
Isnt it stays for gymnist outfits so things dont roll up? Allso Patti just washed my synthtic lacefront wig for the first time.After the shampoo and conditioner i put in some type of leave in conditioner but allso some type of hairoil..i noticed the curls are not as bouncy.Should i next time only put in the leave in conditioner and let the hairoil out? It Stays can be used for alot of things. It's even used in surgery at hospitals. For a synthetic wig you should run a sink of cold water and put in a dime size amount of shampoo. Put the wig in the water to soak for 15 minutes. Rinse under cold running water. Squeeze out excess water. Spray in the leave in conditioner, scrunch curls with your hands and then hang to dry. Never use an oil on synthetics. Make sure you always use synthetic products only.
Wigs by Patti's Pearls oke thanks for clearing it up...i heard you talk about it and the diffrent uses for it🙄 I studied your how to wash a synthetic wig so i saw you wash it and let it sitt in the sink.I did that but used luke warm water because the wig said its heat resistant.I think i messed up with the oil...you didnt say to use oil but its a habit because i use it on my own hair..some hairoil.But its synthetic i didnt realize the wig doesnt absorb oil at all😁🤣 Should i cutt some babyhairs on to the front of the wig? You make it look soo easy your the wigmaster you truelly are😍😩 Love you Patti and your work
Be sure to use cold water (even on Heat Friendly synthethic). Also, do not use a blow dryer on heat friendly synthetic. Only styling tools such as a flat iron, curling iron, hot rollers, etc... Baby hairs are especially nice for those with no hair at all. If you do have some hair you could pull out a few of your own. It all depends on your own taste. Best Wishes!
+Mel Dudley This is something that we can add called Patti's Signature Hairline. This is not automatically on the wig. The cost to add the signature hairline is $85.00 per wig.
Has anyone complain that the wig grip makes bald spots and breakage around the edges of their hair .....I am starting to have that problem.....didn't before I never worn a cap either just pins.....maybe I have it on too tight? just wanted your opinion on this subject or if you hear anyone else with that complaint... I don't want to stop wearing the band maybe someone else knows what to do here....thanks
I know this comment/question is quite a few yrs after the video but I'm hoping you can still answer. When you removed the wig it just pulled off without any resistance & you didn't spray with water or anything. If it is removable so easily, then how does it stay on so well throughout the day?
Hi Maggie! In this particular video the product was not done drying, so the hold was not as tight. However, the product is designed to have a= secure hold whilst still being easily removed at the end of the day without pulling at the bio-hair. That's the magic of It Stays!
Hi Charlotte! This wig has a customization called Patti's Signature Hairline, which is where our customizations team trims little baby hairs into the front lace of the wig. So the little hairs she is pulling forward are actually due to this customization!
If you have bio hair, you can pull out some of your own baby hairs. Wigs do not automatically come with baby hairs but we offer a customization called "Patti's Signature Hairline", which is where we cut some little baby hairs.

Hi Cyndi! You can use it just be very very careful, because it is a glue. Make sure you use plenty of water and really let it soak before you try to remove it. If you do choose to use It Stays, we would recommend using Lace Let Go for removal, just to be safe. Hi Sandy! Yes, you can. However, it is not necessary. You wouldn't need a wig grip if you're using adhesive. You can still wear the nylon cap, but keep in mind that if you glue the wig to the nylon cap and the cap slides at all, then your wig will slide with it. It's usually more secure to glue the wig to your hairline like Patti does. If you really want to glue the wig to the nylon cap, then you could glue down the nylon cap to your hairline first, then glue the wig to the cap. We hope this helps❤

Hi Leslie, this is rare but it can happen. Certain product don't work well with certain skin types. If the It Stays doesn't work well for you, I would suggest trying either the tape or a wig grip. Best Wishes!
Thanks so much; I ordered tape. I think it’s because it’s so humid/sweat and It Stays is water soluble. For now/summer at least, I’m going back to hair pieces that clip. Lots more to learn; thank you again.
