OMG, our cat has an auto feed bowl, but it always has food in it. However if the food is low, and the bottom of the bowl is visible she goes and gets her daddy, even waking him up in middle of night to come put more food in it. Sometimes he just wiggles his fingers in the food, spreading it out and she is happy. Of course he is not pleased to be awoken by purrs and playing with his hand at 3am.
My sister's persian cat would have a fit if she could see the bottom of his bowl. He would eat from the center of the bowl, leaving a ring of food. It would not suffice merely moving some of the food in the bowl to cover the bare spot, NOOOOO!, you actually had to put some food in the bowl .... even if it was just 2 or 3 morsels from his brother cat's bowl and then spreading out the rest. OCD? No. Just set in his ways. Cats be crazy.
OCD is not about neatness. Festidious is the word for extreme neatness. OCD is a mental health disorder that causes compulsive illogical checking, counting, hand washing and other compulsions. 😢
Why are people so ocd over cats I never understood my dads sister pass and she was really ocd with cats it’s allways the big women or older women who are ocd I don’t mind cats but I sometimes like to see one or two but people have to rescue all of them some people are ocd over horses to like to see horses wouldn’t want one am a dog lover I like pets to but mostly dogs fish and other animals
