@@moffit1 I'm not convinced. I think the new one has potential to be as engaging and suspenseful as the first. I look forward to checking it out at least.
@@Unownshipper they've gone to modern day ,that in lies the problem ,now if they had gone the root of the original slavery etc I'd be all for it the new one being set on political issues that have ravaged the world now and set the world on fire I don't agree with, at least just make Tony Todd be the main one because this new one will devide people even more, and it also questions him being a hero or an antagonist ,the original set him up as the villian no matter his background his story was harsh just the same as hellraiser and what they become this new story delves into that he becomes the hero because they've set it all about police ,I'm old-school I like an anti hero but candyman was never that
Yea she was fine as hell . I went to prom with a girl that looked just like her . We dated for a month after prom , but I was a black guy and her father wasn’t having that lol guess he watched to much candyman . True story
This is a Horror Movie, scary and gory but the Romanticism of the story makes it special on a whole other level especially when actor's did as good as they did.
That is such an amazing piece of music. Most people don't know that Clive Barker's original "Candyman" story was English, not American. The short story is much scarier than the movie.
I couldn't disagree more. The short story was trash. I spent 36$ to get that series. It's now in a donation box. The movie though. I still don't linger in the mirror😅
Love this movie. I was so disappointed in the remake. Instead of Candyman they made a BLM promo movie and it didn’t even feature Tony Todd. What a joke.
Such a highly underrated video, just like the film… she’s absolutely a beauty, I never seen anyone like her… hands down, prettiest woman I seen on screen, besides Winona Ryder.
Even though it scared the shit out of me I loved this as a kid! I even liked part 2. I was 15 when it came out. The music went so well with the film. Beautiful and creepy at the same time. Hope the new one is good.
I was 7 when this came out. When her hair burnt off it freaked me out as a kid. I'm guessing Virginia wore a bald cap and didn't shave her head for that part
I notice that she's very healthy looking and a little plumper in the face and may have had some work done, though I will say it's not too severe at all compared to what so many other european-ameriKans/white women do to themselves like courtney cox. She looks so horribly scary and unnatural looking.
Helen wasnt a bimbo, not even close to it, the only bimbo in the movie was the husband's side piece, Helen was stupid for calling candyman's name but she didnt deserve to die, she was a hero who risked her life for a child, trevor is the one who got what he deserved.
