What i find crazy is Juneteenth is a holiday because the slaves in Texas were not notified of their free status until nearly 3 years after the emancipation proclamation was signed. That’s the whole meaning of it. And Drake is here in Texas and has done NOTHING to help us celebrate that. Just another example of how Drake sees himself as separate from us. He likes to use Texas culture, but does nothing of substance for us.
