Sounds like it is for the best. She was more interested in their plans than she was in her husband. She was willing to openly cuckold him, emasculate him, destroy his trust in her, hurt his feelings, cause him self esteem issues and feelings is inadequacy, to advance their (her) plans. And maybe she was interested in a little fling. Sorta sounded like she had mixed feelings about breaking her wedding vows - kind of anticipating having exciting new sex and also wanting to put off the actual breaking of the vows.

It's nice to have 'principles' and I was with him, until it transpired that indeed nothing happened. That was basically lucking out for both, but he didn't get it. Life is messy, you can't deal with it solely on lofty 'principles', reality and getting your hands dirty assuredly are part of it, and you need to be practical. Was she wrong? Yes. Was he wrong to not talk to her until the divorce was final? Absolutely. Yes, there were things to be discussed, but there was also a free 1.000.000 bucks.

Doesn't matter if she actually screwed the rich guy or not. She left with the rich guy with every intention of spending the weekend screwing him for the money. Basically was willing to become a prostitute for the cash. And she did so publicly and openly in front of her husband. The rich guy cared more about her marital status that she did. She dishonored and betrayed her husband, and thought so little of him that she expected him to just swallow the shame for the cash.
