Adding the power shot to the lob over and over again just to fuck up the hole 5 times in a row instead of going around is classic Egg, you gotta love this

Looks like the trick to this game is using alternate camera views to check if the shot is possible, but not actually shooting from insane angles because you can't aim that way.
The game looks fun but even though everyone is nagging at egg for the camera, I honestly think more could be done to help with depth perception issues and awkward camera angle
Being able to pass through walls with camera would help too - on some of the inside maps the camera was colliding making it really quite difficult at times
NL is simultaneously the most aggressive and the most conservative Golfie player in history. He’ll take all these risks to try and get coins or a crystal, but will waste a stroke by just tapping into an open area when he wasn’t even at risk of flying off the map or hitting an obstacle.
Ah, Yes. Using Jumps and Lobs whilst aiming directly at a ramp, guaranteeing that you hit the ramp and lose all of your momentum, wasting a stroke and leaving you in a worse position then when you started. A cunning strategy, I can see why he does it over and over again.

Just taking a moment to apreciate how pogrich NL's videos are. Alot of people need heavy cutting and editing to get to that level but he's just.... He's morbin.

I think this is a super interesting game with a lot of potential and I’m aware that it’s in early access, but there seem to be pretty limited options for perks and shots. I’d definitely try to put out some more of both to ensure that you don’t get burnt out on the game too quick. Looks fun!
Was it the yogscast that had that huge issue with trying to make their own version of minecraft only for it to fall apart? I'm sure a bunch of people felt burnt by it but in my eyes it dies so Golfie could live.
This is like their fourth actual game release. They've just been paying for small dev teams to make the games they were already making and distribution is through yogs

“I’m gonna transform my semi useless curve shot into a lob shot” (Literally 1 hole later) “Ok I used my curve shot to get here now let me get another curve shot” even though it’s in the discard pile
I love the absolute peaks and troughs of NLs abilities in this game. He'll make an absolutely beautiful shot that makes everyone pog, and yet can't understand the concept of checking camera angles. Legit all you need to do is check the side cam to make sure it makes it over, keep that information in your brain for at least 5 seconds, and go back to the normal view to line up the shot. You don't need to take the shot from side-cam my egg. But also please play more this is such a perfect NL game.
oh shut up. stop framing someone not intuitively understanding space in the same fashion as you (y'know, something that's pretty innate and known to vary in different people) as some great moral failing. It's not that he refuses, he just doesn't intuitively understand why he needs to.
My g, the angles are so off, if you change your camera angle don’t change where you’re hitting the ball from. Otherwise you just keep reorganizing until you find a sweet spot by luck Edit: with curve
An almost 3 hour video where I spend 2 hours asking "is NL like okay?" Between the psycho camera constantly, the need to lob whenever it shows up no matter if its bad or not, or the lack of any depth perception, I'm really worried for my egg.
Looks fun but my god the camera sucks, why wouldn’t it follow the ball after a shot? Edit: okay it was just NL’s wonky camera work. Would defo watch more of this
