!!HEATER FIX!! I had the exact same issue with the heat not coming through the blower! Pretty much there are “blend motors” on the heater box behind the centre console/dash! What you need to do for a temp fix is pull down the flap under the steering column, then in there to the left you will the mores and silver rods, work out witch one isn’t moving by pressing the buttons, then the one that isn’t moving pull the medal rod off so you can manually turn the motor arm till you feel hot air coming through, it should stay as the arm will have resistance on it (mine did) if you have any questions or help just drop me a message mate. Good job you've got money to throw at it. The less you'd drive that thing the less problems youl have. As a previous owner my advise is enjoy it as much as possible.
I love a TD5, get that exhaust on in the boot, they sound insane. In terms of not getting up to temp that's pretty standard. Put a thick bin bag or similar behind the grill to stop air flow. You can also buy proper sheets to fit to the grill

Good vehicle, defo content generator 👍🏻 If yours has a viscous fan fitted you can remove it as this will speed up warm up. As you look at car it undoes anti-clockwise. You need a big spanner and a hammer to “shock it” loose but just spins off and 5 mins work. Easy mod 😄
Ive owned 2 td5’s and they naturally take ages to come up to temperature same as disco 3 i have now thats why land rover fitted fuel burning heaters to the disco 3 onwards to help up the cabin temp quicker.
Full engine coolant Drop, flush radiator, hoses and engine block with hose pipe, add fresh 50/50 coolant mix, run it with the heaters on full and the radiator cap open until all air is gone, hopefully that solves the issue.
ive owned a td5 for 3 years now modded it myself but the one that really stands out to me is the remap by EMPIRE TUNING pushed m truck to almost 200 bhp a massive difference to power and economy
All that in the back is required, it's the standard kit if you own a landrover, even a short trip to the shops will need any if not all of that for repairs, the only other thing more expensive to own is a Yacht.
Enjoy lad. I go all over in my truck and based on manchester, I go to the Yorkshire dales, pay and play days at rossendale and a few lanes local to me. Can't beat some off road fun. Loads of content with the truck, aftermarket nodding options are limitless.

The heater matrix is a pain in the ass to fix. To get at the heater assembly, you need to take the full dash out and if you have AC need to discharge it and then get behind the engine to disconnect yur connecting pipe
Might need to bleed the air out the coolant. Get the expansion bottle as high as possible (it comes off the fixings) and open the bleed nipple on the top hose
Noticed the CB is on EU when you turned it on, you need to change that to UK in order to pick people up, normally channel 19. It’s most likely just holding a button as you turn it on to change it, let us know the model easy fix

Cool to see another 4x4 on the channel. Unfortunately Rushford Ford is closed, too many near misses, people driving where they weren't meant to and people going through at insane speeds when there were kids around meant the police and locals got pissed off so it's blocked off. Sure there's other ford's you could use though

Keep all the extras bud you’ll brake stuff all the time I have done 3 diffs 20+props loads of half shafts keep it all bud and the snorkel put silicone hose between the box and a snorkel otherwise, it will just leak water into the air filter
Yes lee lad I can’t wait c content on the td5 I also run a disco 2 td5 and love it and and look in to getting it remapped by alive tuning or a couple of other and definitely need to put a straight though exhaust on it they sound the bollocks then
