Instead of whining about him filming it, take lessons out of the situation. Don't ride without gear, know your limits, don't trash talk and be humble. That's what i took from their "race".
You can take all those lessons and still acknowledge that it's kinda disrespectful to film the guy while hes hurt like that, like if u wanna record for documentation that's one thing but to post it for content is kinda fucked up
@@willydmankal Complaints about filming are absurd. Everyone who knows about Maxwrist already knows anything that happens in a meetup is going to be filmed and posted. If you don't want your bad side shown don't show up...or better yet don't crash. Wristy, Maxy and Blacktop have all crashed and have all posted the videos. If you can't handle the heat forget the kitchen just move to Alaska.
@@stephenbustos its not about showing his bad riding side but thing is people dont know if devil is gonna survive or not . Its too early for posting this video . It would have been respectful if they atleast waited for his surgery to finish . The surgery is schedueled for today
@@stephenbustos everyone is entitled to their opinions, I don't think recording was bad I just think posting it the day after is disrespectful, if it was me I'd ask him if hes ok with it being posted online and wait till he's stable, the guy is in critical condition atm
I’m 21 years old lost three of my best friends on rockets one of them I watched get impaled on a guard rail. I still ride the only thing that gives me peace of mind is knowing I’m not treating the road like a track
Randy Hall bro with all that shit talking I would have thought he would have went down a little higher up where that huge dip is going over the green little bridge but he literally crashed on the easiest mode wide turn of the whole road 🥴
“It’s not how fast you ride, but how well you ride fast!” Guy told me this, pretty sure he got it from a John Deere commercial. Hope he has a speedy recovery!
My friend has a 10 inch titanium bar down his femur and walks, runs and cycles just fine. It aches him a lot on winter days but functionally it’s fine. His bone didn’t protrude, however his bone did slip past the other broken half, an 11hr operation with 3 surgeons was needed to put it right
Thought the same thing. My buddy was sleeping in the gunners position in a tank. He had his leg extended outside of the cage. Commander traversed the turret and snapped his femur. He made a full recovery.
Wow this is all kinds of f.cked up. People seriously filming a accident. More worried about some carbon work. I dont care about these dudes beef. This sh.t is wrong and any adult with half a brain knows it.
Wtf is wrong with all these people filming the Situation. That blonde gonna watch her video at home for entertainment??? Thats zero respect for the crashed Biker...
Literally starting hating on him as he was getting put in ambulance. Y'all suck. Karma is a real thing no lie. Would you all want someone to do this to you when you go down? No one on this Earth is invincible. Humble yourselves.
When a brother goes down you have to show love and respect, that can and will happen to anyone that pushes it eventually. I know he called you out but all that should be forgotten now. I hope devilRider1k makes a full recovery. We would be in trouble in the UK for filming that. I'm not bothered about it to be honest, different countries have different views on what is respectful.
@@jameslaraia him and his friends would of done the same if Wristy crashed. This is what Wristy does for a living and devilrider knew this race would go on youTube. Even if he won and Wristy lost it would of went on youTube. Don't think for a second devilrider wouldn't of put his video on his RU-vid channel if he rolled up on Wristy crashed out.
Dan DBZ Morris yeah that's cool man. Doesn't change the fact that it's in poor taste to film instead of help. Thats all I was saying. I'm not telling them what they should have done. They're grown ass adults that can do as they please. Still in poor taste IMO.
Lesson for new riders who hero worship these guys. Ride sensibly, wear the ride gear and hopefully you`ll return home in one piece at the end of your ride.
@@VitalyMack I agree. But its nice to get used to doing it to help avoid these types of situations. Here lately everyone on his channel whos wrecked. Did not trail brake into turns. Trail braking should be natural and you shouldnt have to think about it. You trail brake in cars everyday without even knowing it. I dont know how he wrecked but im sure if he instilled some sort of trail brake he probably would of at least walked away.
if the guy doesn't feel bad enough already, he's sure as fck guna feel stupid after having 20 of your friend's cameras in his face laughing at his accident. Little bit of respect guy's huh...
He was going to do the same. He was hoping wristy would crash so he'd have all the clout in 1 video. I hope him a quick full recovery. But he held the grips by himself and rode it into the ground. Did he feel bad running from the cops almost hitting traffic at 100+? No it was all a fucking joke to him. His replies were thats the life I live...well...
Health and life insurance will save you money but you probably won't be able to ride a bike ever again after a bad crash, you will be lucky to even be alive to claim that insurance so the best thing to do is not race and take corners at 100mph on normal roads, save it for the track!
Ego and motorcycles, deadly mix. Everyone has a choice, it’s ok to go the speed limit and have giant chicken strips on a street bike! Needs to be more of a movement for safety instead of a pissing match about who is the fastest. No room for error when your tires look like that. Rule #1 - wear protective gear Rule #2 - Never ride fast on a Sunday Rule #3 - don’t challenge a professional street rider One voice of reason could have prevented this mess. Come together as a group to support safety and reasonable choices to prevent more crashes in the future. Every maxwrist ride should have a list of rules that should be followed and an acknowledgment from each rider understanding that the more rules you break in that list the higher your chances are of crashing/getting injured. It might slow a few people down and save lives. The goal would be to consistently have group rides without a crash.
@@karunnagraj8249 me myself I'm still recovering from a motorcycle accident that happened on March 27th of this year I know what type of pain dude is in my femur is still hurting and it isn't really healing all that well
@@karunnagraj8249 Like that is ever going to happen. It's hard enough getting everyone to wear gear let alone spend a fortune to get a few hours on a track. Why do think so many never see a track? The main reason $$$$$$$. Lobbying for cheaper access to more regular track sessions might be a better start, I mean let's face it, you've got just as much chance of making that happen as you do getting people to hear your msg and stop racing on the roads.
Nah bullshit get that brotherhood nonsense out of here. This dude wanted it and got it. Telling Max he was going to crash and he was going to post it all over for exposure on multiple sites. Fuck this dude, he got what he deserved.
Sora Then you’re a dick too. Karma is havin proportionate shit come back to you. This ain’t that. And no real man kicks a man when he’s down or wishes injury or death on another for talkin competitive shit.
It's one thing to talk shit and think you're all that but when someone crashes and you continue to talk shit. That's where you lost me. Karma's gonna be a bitch for you bud✌🏽 ride safe people
Man, that's a bummer. As a rider you always hate to see another rider go down, we all know in the back of our minds that we could be the one in this situation. Hope he has a speedy recovery.
He wasnt wearing gear no shit it wasnt an ordinary fall, he also wasnt riding like an ordinary rider so why would it be ordinary? This dude wished max would crash so he could post it and get attention, this is called insta karma. I hope he lives a long healthy life but I hope he never rides again, doesn't deserve it.
Gear isn't there to give you a false sense of security and it isn't there to protect you from all damage. Its there to lessen the severity of the damage when and if it occurs. It isn't a safety net. Its only there to reduce the damage as much as it can, and the more proper gear you wear you give yourself better odds. Most people in full gear still get hurt but they usually have a lot less of the common injuries, and a lot less deaths, especially if you wear an airbag vest.
Who still remembers when DevilRider commented on a rider that crashed and got decapitated devilrider commented “should’ve been a better rider” smh karma is a bitch
hows the Sena helmet works for you ? is it good ? im planning to buy new helmet + intercom installed already, or any one can recommended different helmet and install intercom separetaly ?
Go Cardo Packtalk. My group of 8 sold all their Sena's and went Cardo. Better unit, easier connection to other cardo's, great range and awesome life. (12hrs of talk, gps and music all running constant)
@@bobs6129 I'm very aware of this. I was just saying it would be cool to see. Could prove your right and me wrong or me right amd you wrong. But I know he wouldn't be last.
Speed is a drug! At 76 yrs and many years on two wheels I love motorcycles. But guys I'm telling you a fact of life when it comes to riding any kind of motorcycle....If you don't respect the machine it will not respect you. Speed is a killer and when you take chances it's only a matter of time before you get caught. Go to a track day to test your skills not some highway. Ride safe and lets all keep it that way.
Sending prayers towards him and his family. To be honest though if he was talking all of this shit and street racing at those speeds, this may be god telling him to slow down and be humble. Again, I'm not trying to bash the guy, I just feel this all could of been avoided.
@@DadDaGoat123 Max never Drives over his limit of Skill. He's Humble and knows what he is doing all the Time. Always having Full control over the Bike.
That's why less riders are joining him on his group rides. I wouldn't. Its Sunday my only day off this week & i hesitated hitting the canyons today. Lots of careless reckless riders. I ride only the canyons weekdays, almost no riders.
He was good at that top speed stuff ill give em that and also I heard he might be blind in 1 eye or partially blind in 1 eye which is even more impressive.
@@DbzDan78 What are you even talking about? Good at that top speed stuff? You do realize the EASIEST part of riding a motorcycle is going fast in straight lines right.....? Making a uturn at 5mph is harder than taking that corner he was on going 100. This dude was a squid.
Hope he makes it through and a speedy recovery for DevilRider1K.....Get to the Track guys there are plenty out there and way safer than the streets you guys will love it!!!!!!!!!!
Why are you all just chilling and filming this mans accident like it’s some fucking biker hang out. Stop worrying about views and give the paramedics space. And it’s not like you guys are there talking to him showing your support. You guys are literally just filming his misfortune to profit of it. Like wtf
Shoulda shown him respect as he’s laying there hurt. You guys just went in for the footage. Dayna all up in there like she was. Super disrespectful. At the end of the day that’s a fellow biker. Love watching most of your vids but starting to think you guys are kinda dickish. You left one guy down and hurt the other week and now this. Disappointed in Wristy and Dayna.
I completely agree, if this goes on and he keeps letting people crash in group rides, I mean like he goes as a "good" rider with stupid inexperienved riders trying to impress idk who and they crash, I think that is partly his fault any more of this and I am unsubbing, he is literally acting like a little child
That's why I wouldn't be subscribed to this channel, but sometimes just check a video out if it pops up as recommended, views and revenue come way before anything else.
Piss off bro did you not see his post calling out wristy? He actually said "i promise you he will crash when he races me so be prepared for that film sesh" blah blah blah. I dont want fellow bikers to go down either but when run your mouth hoping for someone else to crash... Well he made the bed that hes gotta lay in now. Stop being a bunch of Nancy's 🤷
I will never understand how people “worship” people like this. Every other video is groups rides and just about all of them there’s a wreck with people even trying to compare to this guys “skills” it’s just wreckless, imagine that zx10 flew over that barrier and hits a car with a family in it. Looking at the damages I’m sure he was going pretty fast and I couldn’t imagine it hitting another car. Just stay within your limits and take this shit to a track I guarantee this shit ain’t worth it nor is it cool.
If he has made it back to the meet up I'm curious how wristy would've reacted to him wanting to run without leathers. The guy couldn't have ever dragged a knee before not having gear. It boggles my mind why he called him out for a run like this. Even the guys friend in that message knew this was crazy and he shouldn't do it.
Yeah almost every group ride that wristy is in there is a wreck involved. People trying to keep up with him and impress him and it just ends badly lol. Wristy is on another level of riding and people who aren’t there need to go slow and just catch up to him at the destination rather than try and keep up on the way there.
drewmorg what am I talking about?? The screenshots in the beginning I don’t even follow max and I know this guy didn’t ride within his limits and just tried to show out. Vityalymack I understand that but in a controlled environment. I guarantee most of these guys are amateurs and aren’t too skillful they just try to be “cool”. Pushing your limits in a uncontrolled environment is just stupid and beyond wreckless. A car in a lane next to you can change lanes mid turn, or like I saw in another video an oil spill in the middle of the road. Pushing your limits is fine in a controlled environment. But what they did isn’t, now all those first responders im sure took hours out of their day to deal with this that could’ve been prevented rather than deal with real life threatening stuff
Femurs go back together just fine. I’ve had both intentionally broken and put back together for alignment issues. Absolutely sucks for recovery time but still survivable.
Guys that dont know how to race, race on the streets. And put everybody's life in danger. If you think your so good, I'll see you at the track. Bring your money, and pink slip.
if you can afford a bike worth racing......... You can afford a track day . If not go out in the dirt. I dont want you killing my family, with your total disrespect by doing 120 through traffic. Yes, they still have pink slips. You must not own your bike. And insurance, give me a break. If you owned your bike you'd be paying for liability only. $125 a year. If you go down, man up and spend the money you saved to fix your squidly move. 🎤Drop See you at Willow Springs
I know a couple of us will be at willow next weekend 🤟 i live 10 mins away as well and I can afford to do anything I want honestly lol. And also I ride how the fuck i want around my town and no ones more important than my family to me 🤷♂️ people that say that are a joke. If your scared to ride on the street then stay off it. I know plenty of track guys that complain about traffic so they stay home.

Max always enjoy y'all's videos.. BUT there's a certain time you always got to respect people's privacy.. if you can't help somebody out then stay the f*** out of the way .Let the L.E. and E.M.S. do there jobs...I've been riding for 40 years ( H-D) ALMOST 300,000k miles..And when U have had to hold someone's hand that just got in motorcycle wreck, other words.. I watch two motorcycles hit head-on at Charlotte Motor Speedway years ago doing a fundraiser with the Patriot guards..And waiting on EMS to get there and while holding their hand looking in the eyes of someone taking there last breath and dying is one of the worst feelings I've ever had my life. I pray none of you will have to ever experience that in your life... It's a bad feeling to have to live with .. no one there's, nothing you can do but stop the spinning front tire that was cutting into someone's skull And there bones sticking out of there legs and arms is not a pretty sight .. but always respect other people's unfortunate...be safe stay well everyone.. Leebo just passing through
Other guy was legit wanting max to crash so he could post it up himself. And than got a taste of his own medicine. Is it distasteful sure but maybe slightly justified.
Yes, he did exactly as @SlowR1Rider did a couple weeks ago on Hwy 245. Came in too hot on that curve and just went straight into the ditch. Hope DevilRider1K makes a full recovery and gets well soon. 🙏🙏🙏. You guys ride safe 🏍💨✌🐼
Good thing the bone didn’t snag his artery in the inner thigh, could’ve been way worse. Broke mine motocross racing 15 years ago when I was 14 and took about a year to fully recover. 3 surgeries and a titanium rod with 4 screws. I wish this dude a speedy recovery, I can literally feel his pain (though odds are he was in shock).
Glad somebody mentioned it. Those that are familiar with Dayna know she has a huge heart and even after the despicable and derogatory comments Scot through at her, she was still empathetic and showed sympathy for him ❤
Dude is gonna have a long recovery but looks like he'll be alright. Real stand up of you to share the link for his GoFundMe. Guys gotta remember to ride within their limits.
Yeah cause they can afford the bikes and all the bullshit but ask for donations to take care of their family cause of stupid choices. I hope he’s alright but I find it a little ridiculous.
Than come to Austria or Germany ;) And one more question... Why do you have to run a race like this? Where to put other participants at risk on the street? Or maybe people have a trauma of a horror crash all their lives?
I found the most important thing is get to know the road surfaces because they are different during your ride. You may be shocked what you find when you get off your bike and look at the road surface up close. Typically the lighter gray road surfaces are old and deteriorated with loose gravel mixed in and just waiting to dump someone on their ass. Brand new roads are like ice and will throw you off in a heart beat. Another thing is to check your tire pressures before every ride and make sure your suspension is set to your riding style, one or two clicks makes a world of difference when you get close to where you like them. One other warning is if you do a lot of wheelies check your triple tree races for indentations which can easily cause imprecise steering. A quick way to check it is to get your bike on a smooth concrete surface with the front end facing straight ahead and twist the handle bars slowly back and fourth and see if you can feel a click through the handle bars with out gloves on. It might help if you lighten up the steering dampener or remove it when checking the races. Good luck and don't ride to your limit. If you can feel your heart beating in your chest or you get scared for a second or two you are over your limit. I will pray for the Devil Rider. Good luck ladies and gentlemen!
Protec da bunnnnz, man. Hopeeeefully, he takes his time healing. Gain his senses & spirit back along with energy. He'll prolly be back 10x better. Get well rider.
How about raising some money to help this guy out. I heard someone comment he works through Monday to Saturday. I don't know his circumstances but he sounds like a regular working guy. The biker community should stick together when something bad like this happens.
Max, why aren't you in MotoGP or World Superbike or some lesser series? Take it to the racetrack. Pro racers will let you know if you're REALLY good or not. Whole 'nother level.
It's so upsetting to see and here about this bro it's not you fault @maxwrist that he wanted to learn the road first at a fast pace and fucked it up hope he is okay and that he will learn a valuable lesson after this god bless and ride safe guys this could be any of us could be wrong Tyer pressure or a car in a corner or some one overtakeing you be safe out there and ride to your own limit don't show off you won't get respect that way you earn it by Bing humble and ride you own pase much love guys 💙💪
I was riding with friends last year. They started racing from a light that looked like a straight shot to the next one. It wasn't. Dips down into a hard right turn. Going about 140, they both hit the curb side by side and their bikes went flying, along with them flying 300 feet. One passed away and the other had a broken femur, that they saved, but then it died and they had to amputate. He was wearing leathers when he crashed and his femur still broke.
It’s sad that he crashed hard, but I don’t feel bad for this guy at all. The speeds he rides, talking mad shit, wearing no gear... I mean come on, you’re asking for it
For real dude. I see guys on their bikes wearing shorts. I feel bad for them but i dont at the same time. If its to hot to wear your gear its to hot to ride.
Ecactly telling ppl they're gonna crash and shit. I hope he recovers quickly but wooww.... imagine promising someone they're gonna crash for so long just to crash
I just don’t get why everyone thinks ole wristy is so fast???? Good lord he is at best an intermediate rider. The riders he surrounds himself with are squids. Who would ride a superbike with leaking fork seals ?????? Oil dripping right in brakes and front tire????? Go to the track people and learn how to ride. You ever come to the track I’ll take you on !!!! On a old 600!!!!!
Lesson learned for today, if you want a shout-out in a max wrist video, get in a major motorcycle crash around Max's Area This is obviously a joke, please ride responsibility in your own limits
People are just hypocrite, people are mad cus he filmed and if he wouldn't have people will STILL be mad. This guu was gonna get humiliated like Adeys did.
Damn hope dude makes it out with no major issues. Let this be a lesson! Ride to your skill level and don’t let emotions and pride change the way you ride.
