Love watching you work, Joseph. I keep seeing an image of you shipping your van to Fiji and living there as long as a visa will allow. What content could you create skin diving in that ocean! (I'm not sure which island your little girl lives in). I think your community would come through and help to support you to get you some time with your daughter; you and she really need it, it would be wonderful content. THINK ABOUT THE POSSIBILITIES!
You are right. It's new development for me so there's bit of a learning curve and some of it require multiple takes, however I'll get better with more practice and should be able to relax a bit more in the filming side of things.
@@SharingTheWild just a thought… you might feel more comfortable if you video record yourself as you voiceover…? That way maybe you’ll feel more of a sense of speaking to us, because you’re used to it that way. I noticed Chrome does it that way and also includes video clips of himself voiceover’ing 😊… Which I think helps in portraying the story slightly more completely 😊. I’m not saying “copy Chrome”… I’m just saying “I see how what he’s doing could be really valuable in your case as well” Ps - always happy to see your new videos and enjoying them muchly 😊. Thank you for sharing yourself with us.
You have got your shit together when it comes to BUILDING stuff dude!!!!!!!!!!! NEAT & CLEAN !!!!!!!!!!!!! Great ideal what your going to do to the ceiling.
Great editing and content Joseph. Seems that your work was a success. I hope you've accomplished putting EVERYTHING back together again, and can happily move forward. The lyrics to the ❤ ballad with a western vibe was amazingly profound, and relatable. Thanks for sharing. Stay safe. 🕊
You are always a pleasure to watch Joseph. Your projects are are always so well thought through, and your craftmanship is fantastic 🙏 Take care my friend, see you soon 😄 Greetibgs from Denmark 🇩🇰🇩🇰🇩🇰
@@insanity6829 good to see you on here. I have to sweep away some cobwebs but I believe rain is droplets of water falling from the atmosphere. Purple Rain is different!
I am so glad that you got yourself busy renovating or fixing your van. Now I can see in your eyes that your doing better about your inner self. It's nice seeing you smiling now.. Just remember I'm here with you in spirit and you are not alone.. Amazing you are having a good time working your van (home) looking forward for more from you.. ❤️
Correct me if I'm wrong but I think that the mechanism wore out due to the weight of the fridge plus constant use, you may have to keep replacing every so often to keep fridge into place. Thank you so much for sharing, hopefully I help with my opinions and not affend. Continued prayers and love for you Joseph! You are multitalented! So very proud of you always!❤😊
Hello Joseph you are so Talented and smart person are you self taught with your electrical stuff that’s why I love watching your RU-vid channel you are a great person I always share your videos on Facebook hopefully you get more subscribers here from Ontario Canada ❤️❤️❤️❤️🇨🇦🇨🇦😎
Hi Joseph, you do really nice work! Have you ever thought of making cabinets, wall panels or ceiling panels out of foam? I've seen ppl use foam, painted with gripper paint, laminating fiberglass window screen. It's really light, strong, inexpensive , very easy to work with and adds insulation. Search for foam van cabinets.
Wow! Hella productive days work. Your thoroughness, patience and persistence figuring things out and doing it right are why I keep watching and following you-and how good you make it all look. And not mincing words about why you do things and honestly talking about things you are correcting. As always, thanks for sharing yourself and your journey! Of course, as soon as you were talking about dropping your ceiling, I started looking at mine and what I would have to do to drop mine. One overhead cabinet would have to come down, but it wouldn't be horrible-and I sure didn't plan it that way. We can always learn.
Joseph, in case you’re not aware, you can buy extruded aluminum or plastic that is designed to fill that gap in your ceiling. Basically it’s like a sideways H. I think the gap sizes range from 1/4” up to 1/2”. It simply slides in, hiding and filling both wood edges and gap. Take care man.
I notice you have a Dometic fridge, as do I. Mine went bad (thermostat?) and started freezing all food on any temp setting. I solved the problem with an external max min temp 12V thermal switch, running a thermistor into the main fridge cavity to near the bottom. I set the range from 2 to 4 centrigrade, and the switch turns off or on the main 12v power line into the fridge. When the fridge gets power it automatically turns on luckily, removing the need for the built in thermistor circuitry. I suppose I could have sent it to Dometic for fix. It's been running fine in this new mode for several trips and multiday connections to my 12v battery. My beers are cold but not frozen.. 🙂
I appreciate your step by step how you did certain things and giving the product name thank you you have solved an other of my issues my door latches are the roller type and they drive me nuts as I go to close the door I have to center the spindles. So going to get the new latches. Just a thought could you maybe use some shrink tube for the floor latch to prevent the noise or maybe a thin layer of the paint rubber riser. Much love 🤗🤗
I always enjoy your renovation/repair videos Joseph. They’re always very informative! Thanks for including your usage of your safety equipment as well. That’s a must! Looking forward to seeing your next video! Onward and upward! 😉👍🏽
Really wish I could meet you and just chill by a fire and talk with you. But i know that won't happen cause you're in Canada and I'm in the USA. But I enjoy your vids. Take care hun.
I absolutely love that you always do things properly, and it shows in your van build. I've noticed you wait and think about things, make a plan, and then get to work. Measure twice, cut once kinda thing. Looks great! You didn't look tired but I was going to say "what a looooonnnng day of tedious hard work".
Loved the background sounds Joseph 🎶🎵🎶🎵📱😊. Your little shop is a gem! Always awesome to mark off some to do things on our lists. 💌 from this van, on the road in New Zealand 😊
Hi joseph, consider linolium (lino) which can be glued, super lightweight, can look like wood or tiles or ...... whatever. Can take off strips for placing/replaceing wiring and magnetic things. Easy to install too.
Great job on the updates to your home. Making things more serviceable will def make it easier on the road. Was hoping this update included the flux capacitor light on the electrical cabinet 😂 Take care dude
I would avoid metal. You will get condensation, then your cell signal might be weak, and you gonna feel like a faraday cage. Not even talking about headaches due to magnetic field. But I am not an engineer, so…
Any thoughts on putting the cables in the roof inside a PVC tube? Not sure on the thickness but adding/removing cables without ripping the roof down....
Much respect on your build I think you should have done a better job at making your front lights more integrated in to your van with those light look horrible bro
