We still sing the praises of God and we still lift up the name of Jesus Christ, but there's something about the mass choirs that brought a special energy to our praise!!! Yes, MMC and their musicians were a powerhouse in gospel music. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! We also thank the youtube and other digital services that preserve this music.

I first heard this song in 2020 it is very very inspirational and motivating . The passion with which it is sung genuinely epitomize the love Jesus has for us .It was displayed and spoken , even when He said " father forgive them for they know not what they do". In spite of his pains and suffering. Certainly a beautiful song ,sang with great excellence. Well done Choir.

That lead singer in the robe reminds me so much of my late brother. He could hardly keep his feet on the floor when spreading the good news through song. His rhythm wasn't the best but he could make a believer of you. There is nothing like a powerful man of God willing to spread the good news. How I miss the Hawkins brothers.

Like I heard someone else say once, I think I'm a black woman trapped in a white woman's body, LOL, cause I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Mississippi Mass Choir!!! I Love the rhythm, the runs especially the spirit in which they sing! I have heard some men & women of other denominations who have that rhythm in their voices but unfortunately I ain't one of them & I do sing. Blessings to All this Easter & every day! 🙏✝🙌❤

Listening to this album back when it came out back in 1993 prompted me to give my life to Christ and be baptized when I was 11 years old. The gospel made perfect sense to me listening to this album.

I remember when I was younger and I never understood what all that Jesus stuff meant I knew he was around and real and stuff I just didn't understand why but now I do. He loves us so much god sent his son for the ultimate sacrifice and he said put away your totems and sacrifices and we are saved by grace of God. Let me tell you he's so real and supernatural powers no one can touch. I have been in some serious trouble and he got me out of it. I live by him now I got rid of my tight clothes and makeup no more bars and bad music and cigarettes. My sister has turned her back on me I have lost all of my friends and family now I have more time for Jesus they aren't needed any way! I've been through it and I'm not giving up .
