Thats great ...I just did another up dated version of this video a couple days ago and I'm editing it next week and posting. Thanks for Watching & SUBSCRIBING
Thanks for this plunger trick I fixed the air lock issue in my spa jets using plunger but didn’t have to remove the filter covers. I used the plunger on the jets itself n voila the jets started working instantly
You are amazing! I woke up stressed this morning because after messing with it all day yesterday post water change and no bubbles. Plunger worked after 5 minutes. That was alot of air! Thank you very much. Wife not mad at me now!
@@spaman5440 Hi Spa Man from London Ontario! Just wanted to say thank you for creating these super helpful videos and how-to clips. Hooked up my hot tub this week from scratch and got it running well! RU-vid is an amazing resource because of awesome dudes like you. Cheers! 🍻
No it does not...I do understand why you are asking...For hot tubs that have a standpipe we use different methods to fix an airlock and get them up and running. Thanks for Watching & SUBSCRIBING
Hi Scott my husband talked to you about a air lock in our swimming spa which is brand new we tried the plunger no luck we also tried the other method releasing the air from one of the motor components no luck what else can we do to resolve the issue we have no luck on the people from Glacier spa who sold us the spa will not respond thank you scott
Hi, I have a new Tuff Spa 450 Platinum. I've only used it twice and it is not heating. There is a code on the control panel that says HTR FLOW FAIL. The filter is clean, do you have any other suggestions?
You have an air lock in one of the pumps. You might need to remove side panel and turn pump inlet to the right to let the air out and then do the other pump the same way. If you still can't figure it out call the office and talk to Scott He has several other way to fix the problem... Thanks for Watching & SUBSCRIBING
what is the problem when I keep getting air lock and alot of bubbles coming out of what looks like a vent at bottom of my Artic spa cub series old model
Hey there, I have a question about my 1997 Royal Spa hot tub. The tub will heat, but when it gets to ~100° the filtration pump will run for a second or two then stop, then start again and so on until the high limit switch trips. What could be the cause of this?
No...It has to be dead nut flat and Level..If not flat it could damage the tub voiding your warranty..If not level you could have some jet way under water and some just a little under water..the jet that are not far enough under water will cause a lot of jet action on the surface causing the jet to shot the water up and hit the cover sometimes water rolls off the cover from this and out of the spa and your water level will be low which could damage to the Spa....I know you are not going to want to hear this ..But I would take up the paver and get it Flat and level.. If you don't you will remember me advising you to do so when the problems start happening.. I had to void a lot of warrantees over the year because the Spa was not on a flat level surface...But it wasn't my call the manufactures make the rules.. Hope this Helps.. Hey Scott, what’s a symptom of air lock? I plugged everything in and it appears to prime, but I hear nothing but a slight click when turning on jet 1 and jet 2. Nothing circulates and I hear no air/gurgling/anything. I’ve tried your example of plunging and using the hose in the filer hole
Air locks happen mostly from one of two ways ... when you move the tub form one place to another and when you flush and fill in the course of just doing 1/4 cleaning.. but every one in a while Ill find one that has a leaky seal or gasket or pump seal. Hope this Helped Thanks for Watching & SUBSCRIBING
Hi Scott Question on flo issue everything checks out new flo switch new diverter valve circulating pump good heater good. but where flo switch snaps into circuit board end clips are broken off I snap one in but other side is missing . Is it possible to replace this with out replacing entire circuit board? flo issue will go away but if you use tub and turn of pumps the flo issue returns not right away but by next morning. I feel like the vibration from pumps could be causing that connection to wiggle loose. Your thoughts?
Check to see that the Diverter valve is in the middle (If there is a Diverter valve ) make sure the jets are in the open position. Hope this helps and Thanks For Watching and Subscribing.
