Ho passato molte estati in Friuli (zii a Tolmezzo), per un bambino che veniva dalla città quella casa in montagna circondata dai boschi era una specie di luogo magico; m'hai fatto venire il magone (un bel magone però). Ti ho scoperta guardando un video in cui giravi Little Italy, ho guardato il tuo canale, qualche video... complimenti, Roberto.

With regard to the observation of the construction work, apparently, it applies not only to Italy, because it's a common thing in my country (Belarus), too. We've even got a saying: There are three things you can watch endlessly: how water flows, how fire burns and how other people work. It's more like a meditation than just observation. While some people work their asses off, others shamelessly get peace of mind thanks to them.

sono arrivato in Friuli dal Trentino 20 anni fa, adesso capisco e parlo anche il friulano! Sono motociclista e girando apprezzo tanto che la carnia non sia così predata dal turismo selvaggio. Mandi e complimenti per i video

Used to take for granted when my late Italian husband took me around Italy as he was a keen driver to take the "statale" road and not the highway. However, we did come to Friuli by train via Venice, from our home base, Milan. Love every video you make. It's full of substance and natural beauty even when you are in NYC. Your natural beauty stands out. Oh, and hubby had this habit of stopping at every fountain he saw to take just a sip, even in the city.

Absolutely beautiful nature. One of my favorite things about Italy is the small villages in the mountains. Have to come back soon.

I laughed when you zoomed in on yourself. This video reminded me of our trip to Lauterbrunnen Switzerland. Drinking water from mountain and the waterfalls. Here in NY we are having snow. 12-13cm and 0 Celsius. Getting colder.

Last November we had snow also here in Northern Italy. The railway from Piedmont and Liguria was blocked by a huge snowfall. The province of Cuneo had a huge snowfall too. She shoot this video time ago, not in November. Oh yes you said it right. This is nothing, there is such a big quantity of places like these that I could show you. That's why I'm so pissed that every tourist goes to "Rome, Milan, Florence, Venice". Come on, there's so much more than that!

Since I was child i've been captured by the highest waterfall in our land. Salino's one's in the middle trip from Arta terme to Paularo. I suggest a sport car if you wanna enjoy 170 curves in a few miles !

As the others have said; great video. You make a great tour guide! My hobby is photography, and I couldn't help noticing all the great photo opportunities in those two small towns! I have a question for you: what do you use for navigation? This part of the world seems so completely foreign to me; are any of the navigation apps useful in places like this?

I simply use Google Maps everywhere I go honestly. For places without a road (mountain paths for example), I get paper or digital maps that are specific to that area. All the places that are shown in this video appear on Google Maps.

Is The comune planning to do something to stop the migration of italians from these towns??? May be they should facilitate access to IT companies to establish offices in those villages in order to attract young people, for example by reducing taxes. This hapened in Tandil, a little town in Argentina, which is now cluster of IT technology companies. Ciao!!

There are a lot more one and two lane highways in Europe and they often pass thru little towns. In the USA generally we have way more multi lane freeways and we exit the freeway into towns, rather than pass directly thru them without getting off the freeway. It’s a little different in the middle of the USA and out west, where the freeway sometimes passes thru towns, rather than exit the freeway to get to town. For example northern Texas you often just drive thru town without leaving the freeway. At least that is my opinion, I am far from an expert on Europe’s roads. I have driven extensively throughout the USA tho. My favorite drive in the USA is from Denver thru utah down to the Grand Canyon. I think that’s the prettiest drive in the USA , but I guess it’s subjective :)
