He is saying the person asking at the English passport control is a Pakistani.

He is a highly educated man and he probably speaks many languages along acting as well. He is explaining the fact that we, Turkish people are a little bit of shy/scared to speak when it comes to foreign language because we think we will make mistakes. He is saying be cool, be tourist. He also says when a foreigner visits Turkey and says a couple of words we're happy to hear and say that this person really "speaks Turkish" when in fact he is just saying a couple words with wrong accent. Also, some people who taken English grammer courses, toelf etc., for no reason he is trying to speak perfectly so he thinks that he wouldn't be ashamed making mistakes. He describes this "sickness of not talking unless you talk perfectly that language". :)

It's very known, in England most of the people working in the airports are asian(Indian, Pakistani and Bangladeshi), that's passport control, cleaners, sales assistant etc

It's not about you. Subtitles are extremely irrelevant. Those are not original subtitles. It's apparently translated by someone who doesn't speak English well. I recommend you to find original file (somehow) with subtitles translated by professionals.

In Turkey we are spending at least 15 years of our lives in the school and 10-12 years including "English Lessons" which is starting from the beginning every single year. That's the main reason that we can not admit we do not speak English. How come a person can not learn a language by spending 12 years on it? But i can say a true fact that the most of the young population can use "T"English.

You pause and interrupt the video too much, break the joke at the vital point, as a result you lose the flow of the stories he tell 😊 He's basically acting a scene and commenting on it at the same time. (He wants to go to England, is in the passport check queue, talking with the passport officer at the airport) You may check "Yumurcak" Turkish movie series to understand the child voice he imitated. I know It's so easy to miss the jokes just by reading the subtitles though :S Not mentioning that accuracy of the subtitles are 50 percent at most.

Dude he was telling in the final part , that " what's your purpose of visit ? " part , "don't crush yourself , the guy whos asking the question is a pakistan citizen". not in a racist way , because of the accent. You know our language is way diffrent from any europe language and more complicated , the way of reading and writing part to be precise actually , that's why we can't talk english or french or italian fluently. The turkish we use in turkey is effected at the range of %65~%70 from arabian or iranian.

SERİOUSLY, the problem is in subs, but i also don't want to be rude to translators. I don't knoe what to do ':D I'm an average Turkish and i have got B1 level english, most of the Turks has got B1 level. If you go to an University or High School which teaches English, you are learning B2-C1 level english. You can even learn C2 in prestigious schools.
