The amount of time I've rewatched this is unhealthy. I just cant get over the simplicity and elegance of it all. The bride looks absolutely breathtaking in her gown and her gorgeous hair. This reminded me of my parents love story. My mother is Haitian and my father is Italian. I feel so blessed to be surrounded by such uniquely rich cultures.

Told my Italian girlfriend I wanted to start life In Senegal, this year I had got close to my African roots..we were about to move in together next year and enter our 30s soon. Well nope she broke up with me and called off all contact. Five years down the drain, her family just wasn’t with the diversities and culture differences. She let it all get to her head and I hope she finds that person and that my skin color and flaws wasn’t just all I am. I’m going to miss that love. Vicariously living through this. 😢 Maybe another life, another time. Blessings to all the real love that is able to sustain.
