I am Italian, this girl is 100% American. Guys, in Italy average wage is 1100-1500€ per month, with some northern regions where it's a bit higher and some southern regions where it's lower. By frugal I mean no car payment, maybe roommates, or renting a studio type apartment further south like Cutler Ridge, Naranja area. If you want to splurge a little bit, making six figures is a good barometer. Keep in mind, this is a single man with NO KIDS. If the little gremlins become part of the picture, you better be making north of 80k
It's getting really bad.. Like, what do many of them bring that makes it good for the guys? It really varies by location. I don’t know about Miami, but an enterprising kid in San Francisco could be making $100K pretty quick. Not to say that he’d be able to afford much of a lifestyle with that. Definitely can’t afford kids with that in SF. I’ve also seen kids fresh out of college with $300K offers… Admittedly, they were very talented and promising kids.

I grew up in mexico and it is the same, weather you are a man or woman it is normal to live at home until you get married. Which is why I don’t care if a guy lives with his parent. If anything it is smart, it shows that he has a good relationship with his family and he saves money.
In America living with your parents shows you still need to be taken care of and are not independent . Which makes your parents look like they failed their child.
In my culture we go to college and live with parents till around 30. The idea is to get your education and save as much as possible to set yourself up for the future.

Also just a small percentage of engineers make that by that age. By that time your paying student loans for years. I still live with my parents and I’m 38. It’s hard out here nowadays and especially when you have a disability and can’t drive. I’m just blessed to be still alive

My daughter is 24 and just about to finish graduate school. She has been looking for jobs, and she saw one here in Canada and they want her qualifications with 14 years experience. The pay is over $100,000 a year. So I dont know what this girl thinks someone who just finished college with no experience will get $9,000 from. Dream on girly!
