Igor Krutoy was never the musical director for Lara Fabian (*1970) and not for Dimash (*1994) either. Both singers are independent and from time to time work with Igor Krutoy, create new songs and be friends with Igor. Dimash met Lara at Igor Krutoy's birthday event. There Lara and Dimash sang a trio with Aida Garifullina 'Ti Amo Cosi', a song that Igor composed (Ice dancing, yes but no sporting event).

My main point to these people reacting is that Dimash idolized Lara Fabian, and that he had met her. I'm a big fan of both artists, but I don't want to spread incorrect things about them.

I always find it funny when people say Lara reminds people of Celine Dion. Celine is a great singer. Lara calls herself a writer who can sing. She actually wrote the lyrics to this in Italian, then in English. She also writes in French and Spanish, and sings in about a dozen languages.

Adagio in G Minor is credited to Tomaso Albinoni (1671-1751), a Venetian baroque composer who wrote at least 81 operas as well as many instrumental works. Unfortunately, much of his music was lost during the bombing of Dresden in 1945. Since then many musicologists have had to reconstruct his lost music from fragments of it found in Dresden archives. Musicologist, music critic and composer Remo Giazotto was trying to systematically catalogue Albinoni's works, and asked the Saxon State Library of Dresden to send him the scraps of what was left of Albonini's “Trio Sonata”. From only the bassline found in the slow part of the trio and a few fragments of melody, Giazotto magically constructed the Adagio from what survived the World War II bombings. Today Lara Fabian sings a lyrical version.

She wrote it based off of Adagio in G minor, attributed to Tomaso Albinoni, composed by Remo Giazotto....it was a classical piece that Lara recreated! Recomposed it to a pop song and she wrote the lyrics to it! Anyone else you hear singing this song, is doing a cover of her song!....ok...back to the reaction... Lara Fabian.....I fell in love with her singing the first time I heard her in 1995 when I lived in Belgium. She competed in Eurovision 1988 and took 4th place behind the overall winner, Celine Dion (who was not even European, but hey -- that's business). Lara is a native of Belgium, not Italy, although she lived in Italy for some years as a girl before returning to Belgium. She moved to Canada for a while and got Canadian citizenship but that was an effort to enlarge her presence in a world dominated by Dion. Overall, I'd much rather listen to Lara than Celine. Lara Fabian is for sure a better singer overall, her voice is so beautiful and crystal clear, but Dimash is most likely most of the times very pushy it is not possible to relaxing listening Dimash, but when you do hear Lara's voice even when she talks is a blessing for my ears.

Tra l'altro sono amici ed è un gusto vederli cantare assieme in un bellissimo video in cui Lara fa da spalla a Dimash. In questo video lei è molto brava anche se io preferisco Dimash come emozioni di questa canzone. Ma se guardate il video cha cantano assieme lei sembra un'altra ha una potenza vocale quasi al pari di Dimash. Fanno una bellissima coppia canora. Molto emozionanti e bravi come al solito.
