I had Italian beer like one time and it was too bitter and strong for me. Props to Italians for liking a beer that can literally make you grow chest hair. Italian beer is for people who are into drinking beer. Even an IPA is not as bitter as Italian beer.

I agree ..Went there for a week holiday with my friend who is Belgian and he introduced me to the beer. I have to admit, their beer was nice...so I had to bring some back home ( I live in UK) ...but lucky there is a Belgium bar in Londo ( which I found out a month ago). I might pop in one day.

Aber , wird Oettinger nur wegen der niedrigen Preis gekauft werden. Aber ich kenne Leute , die lieber kaufen würde 5,0 ursprünglichen anstatt Oettinger (und sie aus derselben Fabrik sind ) .

Are you fcking serious LoL, Oettinger is the beer for homeless ppl here in germany. Its like the cheapest beer you can find and its disgusting compared to the other good ones.
For the people who are asking why Italian, my guess is because they're not a country known for beer at all. They have Peroni, which is nice, but not the best beer available (In my opinion). Other than that they're mostly known for wine and liqueurs. Don't think these particular Italians drink beer much, seeing as they think Guinness tastes like coffee?

Maybe alcoholics are more appreciated in Veneto and in other places of northern Italy (they especially love their Grappa), but generally they're moderated too. We love our wine, but wine for us, more than an alcoholic, it is a fundamental part of our meals and we used to combine it with something to eat, generally choosing white wines for fish, strong red wines for red meat, rosè wines for white meat, light red wines for pasta and so on...

Real Dutchies drink Belgian beer tho, unless you're 12 and trying to look cool by drinking Heineken. With Heineken it's more about the brand than the quality.
As a German beer lover, I have never heard of Oettinger as a beer. maybe that's because I'm from the north, but people usually drink Beck's or Krombacher here.

In UK, the reason Carlsberg is so light is we like to drink ALOT. And therefore the company can take advantage of this and make the percentage less, and make people buy more. Also we would drink about the same if it was strong. Also they should make them try REAL British or Irish beer like Sneck Lifter, Black Sheep, Cumberland Ale, Old Peculiar and many others :)
when i was younger, my grandma would (she's not a heavier drinker but she did work ALOT so ig this was a mini vacation) tell me to bring her - her "medicine" after a while the medicine turned out to be beer. Its was the guiness one.
Yup.. There's a lot of different sorts of beer. And I don't really know too much about them. But all I can say is that Oettinger is definitely not the most popular/ most liked beer in Germany
+Bialyz Ist es aber ;) Öttinger is the most popular beer in Germany if you measure the popularity in sales and that's what they've been doing here, Öttinger has the highest sales in Germany, it's taste may be arguable (I personally really don't enjoy it's taste, if think it's gross), but it's very cheap and you can get it everywhere in Germany. I personally prefer the Stuttgarter Hofbräu, even though I believe Becks or Bitburger might be more popular :)
