The releasing and annexing thing is for nations in your culture group, because Germany and Italy are seen as cultural unions. So, for example, you could repeatedly release Modena to lose infamy, and then they'll eventually ask to be annexed as long as you keep them sphered.
@@goose9515 It does. Same thing with the CSA. In mods where you can get the CSA big and cores on other countries, if you sphere them, they’ll be petitioning for annexation.
One thing I would appreciate, especially in a game where you have a lot of cores in Africa, is a look at the cultuee map mode. Your Italian pops settled there, and I would appreciate a look at it.
Unfortunately the population map mode in this game wasn't super interesting to look at, if there were random Northern Italians in Transvaal or the Sahara I would have made a point to show it. For whatever reason I got cores on land with only like 5% accepted pops there it was weird
By the way, I'm fairly certain that because you had the interior of Algeria, you were gaining war exhaustion from those provinces being blockaded constantly. For each province.
How do you make great powers fight your wars for you ?? I did almost everything the same in the early game and against two sicilies france didn't even budge even though they were in the war
@@KitiHey Starting out, Two Sicilies has a bigger army and navy than Sardinia-Piedmont. I called in France to fight them hoping it would cause redshirts to show up in their country, but they ended the war so quickly it didn't, had to go in for round 2.
