2023 is our second year of harvesting olives at La Bolla and this time we had some friends (Will and Alison) over from the UK to help us. Just like 2022, we harvested about 130 litres of the most delectable extra virgin olive oil EVER, but this time from the 75 smaller trees (Leccino, Coratina and Picholina), not the 45 larger Cellina di Nardo trees. This episode shows how the olives are collected off the trees, sorted and then taken along to be processed by our local olive press, Sant'oro (www.frantoiosantoro.it/aziend....
