Stijn is such a rule follower and won't miss a beat regarding these "rules" that are posted on each countries websites. But twice now we've done the required tests for traveling by land and not once has anyone stopped us. We so enjoyed our wine tasting and we're looking forward to doing some more in the very near future! Yes, it's getting a bit annoying to get tests to just drive through France (we've done this twice now) and nobody stops you😕 And we could only spend 1 night in France because of the 48hr rule for Italy, and then nobody checked us there! We probably went through a dozen tunnels on one motorway from Grenoble to somewhere in Italy! Apparently the really long (about 20 miles) most traveled one is near Mont Blanc but can have really long waits because of the increased traffic up there. And that was our original route until I looked at a map! 🤣🤣 So happy you enjoyed the video💞🇮🇹 ~ Debbie

@@ouritaliandestiny7955 . I’m just a traveler. My family and I love to travel and the next trip is going to be Italy, so I’m watching a lot of videos to decide which region of Italy we want to visit.

@@claudiacables1764 Wonderful! You will love Italy and pretty much any region you decide to visit. We started traveling through Northern Italy last July with the time line of 7 months. But in August when we made it to the region of Umbria, we fell in love and decided to stop traveling and stay here. So we bought a house in October and are loving living here. So I highly recommend visiting the region of Umbria which is bordered by Tuscany and is also very centrally located with Rome 2 hours to the south (by car and from where we live) Florence 2 hours to the north and either coastline 2 hours away. All very accessible by train as well. We do have lots of photos of our travels as well on Instagram if you have an account and would like to check some of those out. Happy travels!

Hi Steven, ours is an interesting story with Stijn being a Belgian citizen, born and raised.
