My family and I did a 9 day bucket list vacation to Paris & Rome this past July. The food, culture, history (that date back to the times of the Roman Empire), and surroundings of Paris,France were spectacular. Rome was great as well, particularly the long history dating back to times of the antiquities and authentic Roman& Italian food. I wish we could’ve more time to visit Florence, Milan, Naples, & Venice.
It is insane... I was on the costa cruising Mediterranean sea and seen your ship, where you are on!!!! We were so close yet so far away! Love your content, keep up the fun videos!
You are so lucky!! Portofino scenery was magic but depends on weather. It was boiling hot and I nearly fainted . We had breakfast at the Splendido up on the hill top with fantastic views, £1,100 per night so not cheap. It is closed now for winter. For me MALTA is also magic with its churches and iconic buildings and rich history of many Colonialists. And at MALTA I was dancing away at St Julians until 4am (but many many years ago)
Nice video ...I was just there this summer June to July to travel and to visit cousins ...you did a great job of showing a little bit of every stop .... I was in the same region as you were in as my cousins live there ... Portofino is small but beautiful , Florence is great with so much history , museums, and food , ....also day trip from Florence to wineries in the Chianti region is fun , another day trip you could probably do is best in the Spring and Sumer seasons is.... heading out to the Cinque Terre on the coast ..... 5 towns right into the water .... very beautiful as well .... but hey what isn't beautiful in Italy . ..... really enjoy your video's.
When we were in Florence during spring break the line for the museum was crazy too, it was much nicer to see the replicas in the sculpture square (David was not being worked on at the time)
Brings back some nice memories of my time on the ships. I was a videographer and visited every spot you showed in this video. Not much has changed! Very fun times. Thanks for sharing.
This is by far my favorite of your vlogs! Thank you for bringing us on your adventure! You really brought back some memories for me in Florence. I fell in love with that city and made so many memories when I visited there! Thank you again!
Love your videos and your sense of wanderlust which brought back memories of Japan. One of my favorite memories of Japan was drinking coffee in the Starbucks in Kyoto. Best Starbucks experience ever!
FYI, the best cannolo (single)/ cannoli (plural) is made to order. Not pre-filled. The deep fried shells are already made, but stuffed only when a customer orders. So the shell won't get soggy. Unfortunately, few shops do that now. Also, the best Sicilian cannoli are filled with goat ricotta (different taste). Ricotta can be made from cow, sheep, goat or buffalo milk. Another version are ice cream (or gelato) cannoli. Those are pre-filled (and refrigerated), but has an interior chocolate coating, so the shell remains somewhat crisp. Hope this helps!
Stumbled onto this video, your editing is very good , this place looks amazing, you seem like a such a nice person and are beautiful, thanks for making my day 🙏
We love Rome and Italy! We were just there back in late June to early July to take a cruise on the Norwegian Breakaway! Got to spend a couple of days before we boarded and then another day after we got back. Such an incredible trip. Glad to see your adventures! Ciao!
Alley you exude such happiness that makes your vlogs must see📺. The voiceovers and overall construction of your vlogs are next level‼️ You are an amazing content creator thank you for sharing😊🙏🏾👍🏾
Italy is one of our favourite places to see. Your right the food is amazing, the architecture & history, is beyond belief. The Trevi fountain, was empty as they were cleaning the money out of it. Like you, hopefully one day, we’ll go back.
i'm italian and i live near Portofino although is beautiful it's too touristy, if you go towards Santa margherita ligure there are better beaches and you can also hike on the hills😁 i'm starting my first contract in march and they assigned me the mediterranean a bit sad cause i wanted something different, but it will be interesting working on a cruise hopefully i like it😆
I love all the shorts you do, but when I see a video I do a mini cheer inside!! Thanks for the wonderful look inside Italy! I hope to be able to visit one day 🙂
Lovely video - you really highlighted some of magic and beauty of italy, one of your best videos ever! Great work and please do keep them coming, you are living a wonderful life!!
Haven't been, but my mother says it's one of her favorite places to travel to. Looks amazing. I always thought the pizza there never looked the best. Be safe. Save me a strawberry 🍓 😊
I’ve just got back from an Mediterranean cruise..my first ever cruise and spent two days in Italy seeing the sights.. amazing place..the view from the top of the leaning tower of Pisa was fantastic.. cannot wait to do another cruise.. love your channel ❤😊
Love watching explore Portofino, it is one of the places on my bucket list. I think it would be amazing to rent a sail boat and sail into the harbor there and take the rest of the day to explore and enjoy.
Great video! Those are some seriously beautiful places! I would love to take the trip you just showed but totally like to get off the beaten path too. Thanks and keep on enjoying your adventures🎈
I just discovered your channel and I must say I'm hooked! Not just because of your smile and personality that everyone's commenting about (which is true), but also because of your style of vlog and editing! It has the solo-film style of Casey Neistat and the narrative of HeyNadine (before pregnancy). It makes for very enjoyable videos to watch. Subscribed.
That looks awesome, I've only been in Milan and have been meaning to go to Rome forever. As someone from Spain, Italy feels very familiar! Writing down some of the places you mentioned!
The architecture is pretty amazing. There are a few buildings in Montreal Canada that are nice also. Many many cities I would love to visit, perhaps I chose the wrong career path. :) Edit: Porotfimo was my favourite from purely looks aesthetic.
Good job going for the original ricotta canolli! Nothing beats the classics :) I spend 3-4 days in Florence with my family every year. It has become our most private and most cherished time of the year. The first time we went there was on a wim and we loved it. Just walking through the streets at night and enjoying a Gelato or Negroni in one of the many bars and Gelatterias. So for the next visit I read up on Florence and it made the visit even better. Now we are hooked. It is such an important historical city with some of the best food on the planet. Definitely not a place to visit just once. If you like pesto may I suggest a visit to Cinque Terre? You'll love the views and enjoy probably the best pesto in Italy :D P.S. Love your curiosity and hunger for travel.
Just to let you know that I got your newest video where you were in Florence Italy. I love the video I just wish you make more thank you sweetheart big fan of yours from Port of Miami.
Awesome vlog Lots of green Great drone shots Fine music selection Local food samples brings a visit to life All your city views excellent Been to these places before Can’t get enough A, is your show SN Fever? Maybe show a few clips of this
Awesome! I travel to Italy often for work often. I take Clients to Trattoria Zà Zà in Florence for dinner. This is definitely a spot I highly recommend for dinner. As well as visiting the small town of San Gimignano in Tuscany. Enjoy Italy
@wanderlustalley sounds like my kind of ship ... I'd plant some of the white roses I have at home even if there both wedding ones I planted incase I ever get married
All of the drone shots are taken by me🤗 yeah-they didn’t have restrictions in the area but it’s always a common rule to not fly over densely populated towns!
Portofino seems like a super quaint town. I love how they managed to build at different elevations. Surprised they burnt the first pizza, maybe just a bad one. Question, do they do currency exchange on the ship? Or do you have to go to a bank?
I lived in Europe for 3 years. Honestly, using an ATM is probably best. Also, these places are usually Visa card friendly. Usually it is best to let your bank do the conversion, so I always pay in Euro. My back usually did it for the Google rate without a surcharge. Call you back and check the foreign transaction fee. There are plenty of foreign fee free banks these days.
I noticed at 4:03 she smiled at the camera as someone to their lover, which is alright, but I kept wondering about what it takes to smile at a camera like that. Well I think I will never understand that.
