The local news has always been before the national evening news on ITV anyway (well, in my area - Calendar has always had it's main bulletin at 6 afaik, so by the name of the local news programme you can tell I am in the Yorkshire Television region - I get two versions of it, one with the Leeds backdrop - which is from the Emley Moor transmitter and is on Freeview Channel 3, Freeview channel 33 and all of the versions of ITV Yorkshire that I get on Sky, and one with a Humber Bridge backdrop, which I believe is from Belmont and is on Freeview channel 800 and something, and has a lot of signal problems)
I can also receive North East Tonight from Bilsdale, Granada Reports on Freeview HD (although judging on my location, I think in my area they should give us the Emley Moor edition of Calendar like what it is on ITV HD through Sky and on ITV+1) and London Tonight (Only on Sky, through ITV+1 on Channel 973, so not the local one on Channel 203)
