The H1 has been my EDC for over 2 years now. I was hesitant to buy it because of the karambit ring but took a chance, now I think that is one of the best features because of the quick draw and extra leverage. I never liked the sheath though and replaced it with a Kydex sheath and UltiClip for pocket carry. I'm going to be carrying this knife for a looooooong time.

I havw the H2 , I feel these blades are self defense blades first amd foremost. I picked up an "Artimus Carry" kydex for it and it changed the carry game on this blade for sure I haven't done any hard use test with the blade thanks for the heads up🤙..

I love the knife it’s self and the sheath. What I don’t like is the soft M390 and thick blade geometry. I think it’s a solid self defense knife as well. For real i still love it. Thanks Josh!👊💪

Probably talked about in the comments already, but you can always give it a different edge (or angle). Lionsteel likes to use a thicker blade, which are thicker behind the edge, for more sturdiness. Give it different angles and strop it from time to time. Use what you think fits your daily tasks the most. If you are outdoors more > thicker edge, indoors in the office > thinner but slicier edge (less hard use).

Yea man. I’m in the process of choosing what kind of regrind to do and who I want to do the work. I really like the H1 Skinner but it’s stupid behind the edge and is stupid thick stick for no reason. Lol. 👊🤣

I don’t really carry fixed blades but have some for when the occasion occurs. Three smaller ones I have that I really like are: Ruike F118-G that is a little larger with about 4&3/8” blade but is priced nicely, ESSEE Xancudo, probably as small as I want to go. Lion Steel M2M, is a good size for me and the blade is tall so the nearly full flat grind should be a bit thinner behind the edge then your Lion Steel assuming they are the same stock size

Hell yea man! All of those are good knives. I really want the Ruike F118-G. It’s 14C28N and that’s one of my favorite steels. Thanks man! 👊🤘

@@WhatsthePOINT_EDC … I am so happy with how the Ruike feels in the hand. I’m sure you’ll like it

What grind would suit this knife best? Also, im seeing 2.94 and 3.25 blade length, which is it?

I think a regrind would help this knife out so much. Take some steel off and thin it out just a little to give it better edge geometry. The cutting edge is 2.94 inches and the entire blade length is 3.25 inches. It’s a damn good knife but it’s a little thick behind the edge. Take it easy man. Let me know if you get one. 🤘👊
