I like how at the end, Verosika realizes that Blitzø absolutely belongs at the “I Hate Blitzø” party. And I love how much depth she's given compared to her first appearance.

During their talk, Verosika breaks the railings for her to sit while Blitzo sits down without breaking it due to his small size. This means that while they are talking Verosika is the one that is free while Blitzo is still trapped by his self-loathing and other issues.

Grandpa Brandon makes a cameo appearance. And Beezlebub provided refreshments for the party - check the sticky note when Verosika leaves with the Blitzø cake head.

I think the fact that blitzø was at a I-hate-blitzø-party says actually a lot about him....

I feel like because Blitz is so scared of showing his love he instead of saying, “I want you not this stupid crystal!” He instead says he wants to “earn” his way to earth. He sees that book as the only way Stolas will want him around. This way he has something tangible that tells him that Stolas will stay.

As bad as it hurts, they do need to spend some time apart and learn to heal themselves before they can love each other

The fact that, even drunk off his ass and in so much pain, Stolas’s first reaction when asked for something as simple as a dance with another person is to look to Blitz for his express permission is heartbreaking 💔

This episode really gave a lot of character development for Blitzø and I am not exaggerating there was A LOT! He’s coming to terms that he really hurt a lot of people in the past and wants to make an effort to change not just for himself but for Stolas as well. Props for Verosika AKA My Queen for being the literal voice of reason at the end of the episode because she told some home truths and we know how Blitzø effected her life and that she throws this Bash just to help others.

I think its neat Blitz is fibbing a little when he says he sorried Fizz so hard he cried. During that whole scene with Fizz, Blitz is the only one crying.

Never in a million years did I expect us to get a song with Vortex of all characters! lmao Also, I have a theory that the "I hate Blitzo" party isn't just for exes (as in people he formally dated) it's for anyone he's slept with or got close to and screwed over.

Something to note about Blitzo being so adamant Stolas wouldn’t want him romantically, I don’t think it’s just because of his past and self hatred. If you think back to the episode Ozzie’s, Blitzo was being pretty harshly called out by Fizz and Verosika (whether or not they were right to do so I’m not going to argue, that’s not the point I’m making) and then Ozzie addressed Stolas for being with an Imp. During this, Stolas never sticks up for Blitzo or offers comfort as he’s lashed out at, and then when he himself gets called out he tries to run away before being pulled back into his seat and hides his face. Then right afterwards, we see Millie, an Imp and one of the lowest classes in Hell, attack the right hand (and more, as we find out later) of one of the 7 Sins, some of the most powerful beings in hell. All to defend Moxxie, her husband. Blitzo sees all of this, how Stolas, in the face of a higher class wasn’t willing to help him and seemed ashamed to even be seen with him, while M&M are fully willing to risk the wrath of a Sin for each other. The message, to Blitzo, is clear: he’s not important enough to Stolas to defend when the chips are down. Also, every time Stolas has talked kindly to Blitzo or indicated he wants a more romantic than sexual relationship, they’ve either been alone or with the only witnesses being lower class beings. So it makes sense that Blitzo would have such a hard time believing any of Stolas’ words because his actions, even if it was only once, have essentially proven the contrary. I hope this gets addressed one day, maybe in the episode Stolas sees the rest of the Goetias that we see in the trailer. If nothing else, it’ll give Blitzo even more reason to see that Stolas genuinely cares about him, and that he’s grown since Ozzie’s. And I’m not saying Stolas is completely at fault for the relationship going downhill or even that Blitzo is innocent in the whole situation, I’m just saying that there are more layers to what happened than what can be assumed, and I hope the show addresses this fact, since that is often how real relationships work

I like the fact that Verosika really wants to help Blitzo to change or to realize his mistakes, truly one of the best episodes and songs of the season

The actual plush of Blitzo being in the episode was the coolest thing ever

I wanna know if anyone ever apologized to Blitz and if that affects his interpretation of trying to apologize to others

I feel like with Blitz, it's always "There's no possible way Stolas could/should feel that way for me" and never not "I don't feel that way towards Stolas", we see the same thing with his conversation with Fizz in "Oops"

I think it's better if stolas starts a realistonship with the imp that asked to dance, beacuse i know blitz has self hatred, but their realistonship is toxic,never thought that I would've said this considering I used to ship them a lot, also I'm glad that the Martha ship got confirmed

After seeing this episode, I'd like to declare Stolas my Autistic headcanon! Reasons why: 1.) When he was a kid and an adult, he was rarely interested in public places unless he was with someone he cared about (Octavia and Blitzo). 2.) He tends to move his hands around, making gestures, and clearly stimming. 3.) Rarely socializes and interacts with others (except for Octavia and Blitzo, again). 4.) Tends to be by himself in celebrations and events. As someone who is autistic, Stolas is a perfect autistic rep!

I think it's nice that Stolas gets to dance and have fun, he deserves it so much, and this is a great first episode to start Blitz's redemption

I guess the reason its shocking for everyone to see Stolas kissing someone else is also because he is doing it in front of Blitz. Like yeah he kissed Dennis, fcked Chaz etc but he didnt do it in front of stolas. He also never mentioms hooking up with anyone else in front/to Stolas. So in a way we sympathize with Blitz seeing this scene in front of him instead of Stolas who never saw Blitz with anyone else.

I really like this episode because to me, it's like Full Moon was the first step to change Stolitz for the better, and this episode is the second. Blitz definitely needed this to see how he affects people with his self destructive tendencies. Stolas needed this to see how big the world really is and how different each person is. I hope Stolas gets to see the mistakes he made and realizes that not everyone will understand his thought process. I wouldn't mind seeing Stolas and the other guy having an argument or just a conversation about how Stolas needs to speak about his thoughts more or at least how he comes to certain conclusions. That is if they get together and it is more than just a hook up. :P The fact that Blitz obviously cares for Stolas really drives this home as it being so emotionally painful. I wouldn't quite think Stolas and Blitz love each other just yet, but they do care for each other a lot. The reason I think this way is that Stolas romanticizes being in a relationship so much that he has a distorted view on how relationships should be like. I mean, all he has to go off of are TV shows. Hell, even Blitz pointed out that Stolas was asking for something fake when Blitz told him what he was wanting a romcom. However, Stolas did correct himself and finally said what he actually wanted. And for Blitz, I personally believe in the philosophy: if you can't love yourself, then you can't love others. Blitz needs to change to become someone he can love, then go to Stolas and build a loving relationship with him. I know the hardest thing to work on is yourself, so Blitz does have his work cut out for him, but the process has started and I have high hopes. I really love how complicated their relationship is and how real it is. Vivziepop did an amazing job with making all these characters feel real. I hope this show continues the way it's going because I believe it to be writing a beautiful story. :) Thank you for reacting to the show and constantly giving based takes. While Stolas acknowledged it was wrong to tether Blitzo to him through the Full Moon deal, he doesn't directly apologize for his treatment of Blitzo. In fact, he never seemed to acknowledge that the deal was his idea to begin with, that Blitzo's business depending on the grimoire gave Blitzo significant incentive to agree even if he didn't want to, that Blitzo couldn't properly consent since Blitzo's life was in danger at the time Stolas proposed it, or that Blitzo has called him out for constantly treating him like a sex object before.

That is the thing Stolas may of had a crush on Blitzø back when they was kids but Blitzø didn't know that. And if Paimon didn't buy him off from Cash then they wouldn't of even became the very least friends. And when Stolas and Blitzø were reintroduced to eachother as adults several years later. Up untill i want to say the Ozzie's "date" all they ever shown was the physical side of there relationship and Stolas fawning over Blitzø and saying things on the phone to him that would make the karma sutra blush. So i can't blame Blitzø for acting out and getting on the defence when frkm his point of view everything he thought he knew about there "relationship" just got flipped upside down. But i understand that Stolas has had these feelings ever since they first met that he's kept bottled deep down all these years and the frustration he must feel when he finally opens up and this is the response he gets. However i really didn't like how Stolas was acting towards Blitzø in the second half of this episode because you could tell Blitzø was really trying to communicate the best way he knows how granted may not be the greatest but for someone like Blitzø who isn't big on words and communication it's huge. Helluva Boss has become a story that's less-so about good or bad people, but just broken people doing broken things because they can't understand not being broken. Verosika's annual "Blitzo's exes anonymous" parties are her way of trying to help broken people get over the hurt that another broken person subjected them all to but, as she is a broken person herself, the only method she could come up with also ends up being broken, feeding into the catharsis of anger and hatred and tearing up old wounds rather than letting them heal. So while Blitz constantly reminds himself that he's not worthy of being loved (literally surrounds himself with photos of himself and his loved ones with himself crossed-out of the pictures), Verosika constantly reminds herself (the crossed-out heart tattoo on her shoulder) how much Blitz hurt her the moment she admitted to him that she actually considered him worth loving... At this point, I'm not even sure Helluva Boss is going to include a Fiz-like episode dedicated to Verosika and Blitz working out their issues because, honestly, their heart-to-heart moment in this episode felt about as close to one as those two are going to get until Blitz learns not to hate himself.

When Stolas was telling Blitz what he wanted and Blitz got that soft look on his face! Blitz wants the exact same thing but he would never say it out loud 😢 And how sad (and amazingly written) is it that Blitz and Verosika's breakup is mirrored in Blitz and Stolas' breakup! HOLY COW I LOVE THIS SHOW!!!

My only qualm about the episode is that the breakup really went with the lens that this is Blitzo’s ‘fault’ and yes he really need to take a good look at himself but Stolas is not some innocent party in this either. He sprang the idea of a relationship on Blitzo and as soon as he got the answer he didn't want without any time for clarification he immediately jumps on the bandwagon that it can never be a relationship. Stolas throughout the show seems to have at least a classist outlook- that although harmless can come across as quite patronising. Yes, he said he doesn’t see Blitz that way and always thought highly of him but what about with other imps? And his words say he thinks very highly of Blitz but we have seen plenty of times that he can come across as quite patronising in his tone and actions, using Blitz’s head to light out his cigarette, referencing Blitz’s sexual proclivities instead of providing emotional support when Blitz was having a full-on breakdown about the possibility of going on stage. I mean he even called Blitz ‘my impish little plaything.’ There’s also the fact that he informs Blitz that he makes everything about sex, when he was the one who began the deal for sex every month for the book in the very first episode of the series. Overall yes both Blitz and Stolas have a lot of issues to work though and I’m glad Blitz’s central flaws were addressed. I just hope Stolas’ flaws are also addressed rather than painting Blitz as the only cause of the breakup when they are both to blame. Via’s line in the trailer of “you don't love mother and you don't love me, you love him” gives me hope that Stolas is also going to get a wake-up call and who better than his own kid and although I can only imagine how painfuly it’s going to be for Stolas I think its important for him to acknowledge his own faults too.

I really liked this episode. It was really good for Blitz to be forced to listen to how he affected people.

I would love to see a short like the Millie and Sallie Mae exploring some follow ups of their past assassinations. Especially a Martha first few days in Hell...imagine being killed by imps from Hell and then ending up in Hell and seeing a billboard with them advertising killing the living for sinners. Also I wander if her husband and kids ended up in cannibal town or if they became a different kind of Sinner form. Fan theory that the way someone dies + their personality + their major sins decides their form, The Sins part based on the forms of the Seven Deadly sins, like Wrath produces a more imp or horned devil kind of appearance, envy something more fish like, lust mor bird, etc... like Valentino could be mainly lust and greed so became a combination of Mammon and Asmodeus in appearance.

If we ONLY take into account Verosika's point of view, there is something else to take into account besides how Blitzø left him by abandoning him in a motel, stealing his car and using his credit card to buy horse lessons, you must remember that Verosika is a succubus. She is the one who is used to using others for herself but there, the only time she lowered her sentimental armor to admit to Blitzø that she loved him, he did more than reject her, he destroyed her heart . And otherwise, I think Verosika really needs to get professional help to finally be able to totally move on.

Ok so I said this on the actual video of the full episode. The fact that Blitz didn’t know that people actually did care about him, The reason why he’s so lonely as it is Is because he doesn’t want to admit. Last time he told anyone that he loved them was probably his mother. And SHE DIED because of him (allegedly! We don’t know if she actually died in that episode since we never really see her) It’s why when Ver told Blitz that she loved him. It broke Blitz, Which is why he dumps anyone who gets too close because he doesn’t feel worthy. Which makes it sooooo much worse. (I call her Ver. Because I struggle remembering long names so I deeply apologize) It just sucks because Blitz been through so much, Stolas didn’t help by starting this arrangement in the first place by being all…. romantic with each other despite Blitz never seeing that and only wanted the book. (I’m still gonna dance around with my words) I just don’t understand why Stolas isn’t understanding Blitz. Blitz is a IMP THE VERY LOW CLASS IN HELL in this universe. Blitz never knew or understood how Stolas doesn’t see how when he called Blitz his little Imp and everything else especially from the pilot ep is kinda mean? I don’t know the word I always felt off with that. Because it does imply that Stolas does look down on Blitz even if he doesn’t mean it Hopefully this makes sense to anyone.
